Mozelle's Fresh Southern Bistro
We love it here. Never disappointed
We had a lovely date night. Hailey was awesome!
The first time I ate at Mozelle’s I was amazed. But each time since the food has been sub-par to ok. This past Saturday my tuna was ok and seared nicely, but the green goddess that I fortunately asked to have in the side was a chalky cilantro offering that would have smother the delicate flavor of the tuna. The scallops and Greek dressing was a better choice, but overall like the original flare of the taste mixtures and creative offerings on our first visit. The waitress seemed to be rushing us to turn her table over.
One of the top Triad restaurants. Very creative and fresh menus.
Love this restaurant, but Emma was amazing! Her demeanor made the meal a delightful experience.
Absolutely the most amazing food, service and ambiance (sit outside).
Wonderful, as always! The service is excellent and the food, always consistently delicious. We like the wine selection. The Sancerre is excellent.
The food is always fantastic! Never disappoints. They promised me a table to accommodate my mother with mobility issues and it was waiting for us. Thank you for a great brunch!
The food was outstanding. Fresh and Interesting flavors. I had the catch of the day- halibut with arugula and new potatoes. My husband had a classic- fried chicken with a delicious peach chutney. Next time I’ll get dessert too!
Another awesome dinner at Mozelles. Very possibly the best restaurant in Winston-Salem. Service was impeccable. Tomatoes on the caprese salad were the best we have had this season. All entrees were perfect. Can’t wait to go back.
I absolutely love Mozelle's!! It is one of my favorite restaurants in Winston Salem for a few reasons. 1. It's cute & cozy. It's perfect for an intimate date night or a nice dinner with a few friends. 2. The food is ALWAYS great. I've never had a dish here I wasn't happy with (the fried chicken with peach chutney is my fave...omg). 3. They actually try here. The food, the atmosphere, the space itself, the servers, etc - It's all great. They are all nice and accommodating and never let me down. HIGHLY recommend this restaurant.
I love Mozelles but was disappointed in the portion size for the price for the fish. I felt totally ripped off and I hate how the sides are a la carte.
The tomato pie is still the best. Succotash is just ok but should add the side of grits back.
This was my 2nd time at Mozelles. The food was great. Had fried squash as an app and the go back to bed sandwich. Yummy! Josh our server was great and very personable. I highly recommend.
Great staff and food
Great service, server had an excellent grasp of the menu and made personal recommendations that seemed genuine. Food was perfect, nice wine offerings.
Everything was wonderful! Megan is the best! We’ll be back.
The food was super tasty. Our waiter seemed too busy to check in with us regularly and a little forgetful at times. The space is SUPER tight - so kind of awkward for our bigger party... but once we were seated it was fine.
Mozelle’s is the best!! Chef Jay is great, the food is amazing, service is on point. Couldn’t be happier to eat there! What a treat!!
Amazing place, chef and staff. The waiter was very professional and dedicate. The food was delicious. I spend a great moment with love. Thanks so much. I appreciate every second in Mozelle's Fresh Southern Bistro.
This restaurant is one of my favorites. I take for granted that the service will be great and the food will be fabulous. It has never disappointed me. It is the perfect place to sit outside on a beautiful night.
Menu has changed. Fewer choices. Portions very very small. Food not as good. Prices high. Would not return. Used to be my favorite restaurant. What a shame.
Indoor snd outdoor seating. Cozy inside with many windows making for a delightfully bright space.. The Salmon Freekah with asparagus is wonderful!
Would love to eat here again.
Always great food and the service is even better!!
I love Mozelle's - the food is always amazing, and great service. I didn't realize that on Monday's they have a half price wine bottle special, so was surprised to find it so busy. Was pretty crowded and louder than expected, but again, the food and service are always outstanding.
The food was excellent. The waiter was very helpful. You could add bread service. That's the only thing I would change.
It was nicely appointed place and the server was friendly. The food was okay. I had the duck and my friend had the scallops. The duck was prepared nicely, but the bed of beans and vegetables was far too salty. I did not send it back because our meal took such a long time to arrive. I may try again. Dunno.
Lunch was fantastic!
Great food as always. Service was bad. Typically, service is much better. But, our waiter ignored us to chat with staff and other patrons.
This has become one of our favorites in the Triad since we discovered it a little over a year ago. We love the small neighborhood feel of the place and the consistent excellent quality of the food. One thing that stands out for us when we eat here is the service and the quality of the wait staff. We have never had the same waiter/waitress but they each have been friendly, funny, knowledgeable, and always go out of their way to make our visit perfect.
We have been many times however inordinately noisy this time
We had a great late dinner after my wife did a book reading at Bookmarks. We sat at the bar so got great service from several folks. Split soup, salad, and scallops. All delicious. Got a great recommendation for a glass of red wine and the best part if came right out of the wine refrigerator in front of us at the perfect temperature. Few restaurants make this effort.
This is by far one of our favorite restaurants. Just happened to order the wrong thing. Sent my steak back twice and I am not one to return food. I ordered it medium rare. The first steak was flat and charred and the second one was a small medallion that was raw. The service was and is always great and my husband enjoyed his tomato pie which is what I usually order.
This was our first time at Mozelle's, but it definitely won't be our last. We were greeted by friendly, smiling faces as soon as we walked in the door, which means a lot to us. Our server, Emma, was incredible and took very good care of us. The food was every bit as good as we had heard it would be, if not better. The chef is to be commended, not only for his commitment to Southern cuisine, but also for his creativity. There are not many restaurants where I make a point of thanking the chef directly as we leave, but this was an exception. Incredible!
we had the rockfish special and it was good, but not excellent. We had a nice experience, but a bit pricey considering the quality of food. Staff was wonderful. Perhaps we ordered the wrong thing, but it was the special of the evening.
Phenomenal, as always. Jessica is a fabulous part of the Mozelles team, and Mozelles continues to be my favourite restaurant in Winston Salem.
Food and atmosphere great and we especially liked our server Emma.
I usually enjoy the atmosphere in Mozelle's, but this time there was a screaming child at the bar, and because we were seated near the grill, it was noisy and smelly through our entire dinner. I learned my lesson and will always ask to be seated elsewhere. Normally, the bar area is fine. It was not this time!
First time there for Brunch this past Sunday. The food was amazing, not a fan of biscuits and white gravy at all, but after the waitress sold us on it, Mozelle's breakfast special was outstanding. Huevos Rancheros was equally amazing, as was the Creme Brulee. Will definitely return.
Enjoyed from start to finish. Fried pickles were great and shrimp pad Thai was amazing. Very original dish. Wife enjoyed her shrimp and grits very much. Finished with coconut cake. Beyond full, but we enjoyed it so much. Can't wait to return.
