Located in the historic Congaree Vista Motor Supply has been serving progressive, New World cuisine using classic French culinary techniques for over 20 years. The menu features contemporary New American cuisine, with nods to Creole, Cajun, New Southern, French, Italian and Asian cuisine. We are Columbia's foremost "farm to fork" restaurant, working with local, sustainable farms for produce, meats, SC seafood and more. Seafood is caught off of the Carolina coast, and all of our stocks, sauces and desserts are made on site, including our charcuterie, with house-made sausages, bacon, country pate, and rillettes, all the way down to the pickles and mustard. Our early 19th century, solid-oak bar with marble columns, imported from Europe, serves 180+ fine wines, an extensive list of imported, domestic and local craft beers, as well as an artisan farm-to-shaker cocktail list made from house-infused liquors, handmade bitters, barrel-aged spirits and locally-sourced ingredients and garnishes.

We have eaten at Motor Supply several times. The food, the service, and the atmosphere is wonderful. The manager always comes by to check how we are doing. Our favorite in Columbia!

Love this place! Farm to table to menu changes slightly daily, but always solid. Brought out of town guests there and everyone loved it!!

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here last week and it was fantastic. The drinks were delicious, the food was unbelievably good, and the service was excellent. Katy was very nice and did a great job answering any questions we had, timing our service perfectly, and checking in on us whenever we needed it. Chef Thomas even came to make sure everything was to our liking. We come here often for date nights and special occasions, and this visit ensured that we will continue to do so for a long time.

Our son is a senior and it was our first visit to Motor Supply Company. We went for Sunday brunch and it was a delicious way to cap off our last parents weekend. Great food and service. Lovely atmosphere!

We went during the University of South Carolina’s Family Weekend and first time there in a couple of years and Motor Supply Company Bistro did not disappoint. The food, the atmosphere, and the service were all outstanding. Was very busy but our server was always checking in to see how we were and enjoying our meal. The brunch menu has something for everyone, and there was not a bite left on any plate. Looking forward to going back during our next visit to Columbia, SC!
