Moscato - Scarsdale Ratings and Reviews
The Restaurant Week special lunch was the precipitating factor in coming- we were able to get a reservation a day in advance. Food was very good, not many options but we found things we enjoyed. It was only about half filled- I don't know what it is like for dinner, but it is across the street from the train station so it is convenient. Service was good, fairly quick, and attentive. I would go back.
Had an enjoyable dinner here to celebrate my wife's birthday. Service, ambiance and food was generally very good. The only sour note was the broiled pork chop that I had - very tasty, but very dry.
I make pork chops at home on occasion, and because I marinate them & cook them properly, they are always juicy. You would think that a good restaurant like Moscato would know how to do this.
We had intended to have the "Restaurant Week" special, but the limitation of choices for this was not quite to our liking, so we ordered ala carte.
All in all though, we really enjoyed ourselves, and will be back.
The staff and owner were pleasant, attentive and welcoming.
The menu was varied, with very nice choices, and the service was really good.
A nice, comfortable atmosphere, with really good food.
Portions were more than ample, and presentation was very appealing.
I would definitely go back!
One of the best Italian restaurants in Westchester. We dine out a lot, but we keep coming back to Moscato's because it is still one of the best. Everything on the menu is delicious and the atmosphere is always lively. No need to go into the city with Moscato's in the neighborhood.
Small-ish elegant restaurant that seems family-owned with staff that probably has been there for years.
Creative specials eg veal stuffed with fresh figs/mozzarella/summer squash - a great combination of tastes and textures. Home-made delicious pasta.
Staff very knowledgeable, also flexible in how dishes are prepared/accompaniments
A classic fine-dining experience
