Morton's The Steakhouse - Toronto
We came at 7:30 for lobster night due to an e mail sent advertising 2 pound lobster reasonably priced. Reservation made week before but we were told no lobster just tails which is always on the menu. We could have ate somewhere else then. Very disappointing for myself and my guest
The steak was not cooked well at all. When you're paying that amount of money, you want things done properly.
It was great as usual.

Great food but prices are very high making a dinner for 4 without wine over $400.00.

As a very loyal client to Morton's and as someone who visited most of Morton's branches over the US in the last twenty years, this has been the worst visit to Morton's ever. Not only was the food not at all to Morton's standard, and the fact that the plates smelled very bad, but what was worse was the manager (Peter) behavior which was really unacceptable.. .. Unbelievable how such a person could be a leader for one the landmark places when it comes to steak. His attitude, behavior and response to our request to alert the table next to us to be a little bit quieter because they were creating lots of noise which made us really uncomfortable was unbelievable, the guy refused to talk to them sighting that they will cause problems and will cause a seen for him as if we are dining in a law level place and not in Morton's. He also did not have the courtesy to come and talk to us and he sent the waiter instead to deliver the msg. When we confronted him he did not even acknowledge the fact that he was mistaken.... This was really one of the worst experiences we had as a family ever.... My advise as long as Peter is there please do not attempt to visit the place you will not get the Morton's experience.... Very sad
Poor beef, laughable mozzarella proscuitto, and asparagus was old
The host sat us at our table with no menus and walked away, 7 minutes later the server came and asked what drinks we would like that’s when my husbands asked for menus for drinks and meal as well.. my caeser came in a wine glass, lobster bisque had no flavour, I had to add salt and still could t eat it. all our steaks were burnt to charcoal (except my sons Manhattan) and were ordered medium, we didn’t want to complain just eat and leave. The bread was stale, the side dishes were delicious however.. desert was fine.. my husband ordered a long espresso which came in a large coffee cup and could see right through it. It was watered down coffee of some sort, after finally complaining about his espresso the server let us know that they do short espresso only and had to add water to it to make it long.....!!?? Will not come here again.

Only problem was a group that brought in 3 children under 5. They were horrible. Running around. Afraid they were going to bump into someone. Like the staff carrying food. Also extremely loud.
Wish Morton's corporate would just not allow children under the age of 8 years in at dinner.
The manager was very nice as was the rest of the staff.
Was there on a Sunday evening and the restaurant was fairly empty which was nice as there wasn't the din that normally accompanies a busy establishment. As per usual, the food was fantastic. The steaks were done to perfection and the starters were all amazing as well as the sides plus the yummy desserts.
My only complaint was the 'server'. He bothered me to no end and was extremely snooty and his comments were uncalled for. Two people in the group wanted to share a large steak and asked if it could be cut in 2 and made to their specific likings. He replied that normally when the restaurant is busy they would never do that , but since it wasn't he would relent and let it happen. Ugh, made me sick, like he was doing a huge favour. He suggested that we order a second side of asparagus as it only comes with 6 spears and that would mean just one for each person. But 2 of the people in the group ordered a meal that came with asparagus so there was no need to order the second one. He did notice this and said there would be no charge.
I have been to Mortons many many times and have always had an excellent server who went above and beyond to make the experience special and to accommodate you in every way. This was not one of those times and it just sort of put a damper on the occasion for myself.
Always a fun and fantastic experience. Kids and I sat in the bar area. Service was terrific. Happy place, great food!

Morton’s was a great dining experience. Highly recommend whether for a date, special occasion, business meeting or every day dining. Food, ambience and service were great.
We loved our dinner. He veal chop, ribeye steak and rack of lamb were cooked perfectly.

We went to Morton's specifically for the special lobster menu. Over the past few summers, lobster night meant a 2lb lobster for $35, then last year $42. Great deal right? This year, they switched it up with a lobster app, bisque or lobster escargot, a lobster, half a corn on the cob, boiled potatoes and lobster mac n cheese for $79. Pretty much market price for the lobster, so no deal, supremely disappointed as the package felt like a poorly thought out ploy as the restaurant recently took whole lobster off the menu. The lobster-got was basically lobster bits in butter with a puff on top. Overkill when I am about to have a lobster and butter anyway. Whole lobsters were great, corn and potatoes totally phoned in, but the lobster mac n cheese is where I take serious issue as I've been ordering this side for years, most recently 3 weeks prior to this occasion. It was dry, dry, dry, dry and to say there was lobster in it was borderline heresy. Totally disappointed. Service which is generally attentive was mediocre that night even though the restaurant was only a third full. I've never had anything but glowing reviews for Morton's but this menu was poorly executed that it's making me reconsider coming back.

We were served by Susanne who was simply amazing to us. I have always enjoyed my meals at Morton’s and with her friend and amazing service tonight, it was my favorite meal yet! There is an online special, it is well worth it. Most of us upgraded the steak to the bone in ribeye and I definitely recommend the upgrade. Will definitely go back.
While my partner's steak was not to order the first time round, and it took a longer than expected while (even to the server's expectations) to return such... all worked out well. Morton's was kind enough to comp her steak. We'll be back...
