About
New years eve dinner was excellent. Staff was attentive and gave excellent recommendations. One of the best steaks I have had in awiIe. If your looking for top shelf everything this is the place.
Second visit to Morton's. Once again a great steak, and great service. My wife loves the hash browns too If you like mushrooms try the hen of the woods.
NYE dinner date. A lovely experience. Great food and beverages.
What a fantastic birthday dinner!
The customer service is well above normal, on line with Uncle Jack's in NYC. The meat is excellent. And the drinks a very good.
However the food has very little flavor. I don't know if it was an off day for the chef but for the money I won't be giving them a chance for redemption. The filet mignon was so very tender and perfectly cooked but no spices at all. The sides were bland as well. The appetizer were good though.
For a third of the price I will take my business to Melrose Grill in Renton for the same level of service with food that has flavor.
Very expensive. I don't like having to pay for side dishes. Your food was good but seriously overpriced. Probably won't eat there again.
Service was terrific. We were late leaving the Cinerama and walked over in the rain, called ahead and they were able to accommodate us and our wet coats.
All our steaks were cooked to perfections and the sides were enjoyed as well.
Nice way to finish the evening; a movie and dinner.
Wonderful food and we enjoyed the private dining room.
Very, very expensive, though!
I wanted something special for Christmas Day dinner, but instead I paid for a pricey meal that was mediocre. Husband ordered a French 75, but were told by our server she couldn't make it because they didn't have eggs for the froth-questionable because it doesn't need eggs for froth, clearly the bar is not knowledgeable about making drinks. My cosmo was more limey than I care for, but staff is working on Christmas Day... Food- steak was fine, but ordered a sauce on the side and it didn't show up until half way done with the steak-thankfully wasn't charged for it. Husband and daughter had crab legs, a little fishy tasting and the forks and lemon did not arrive until sauce for the steak arrived. The creme brulee for dessert is a major disappointment. I can order a creme brulee anywhere and see the little vanilla flecks, but not at Morton's. Obviously over-priced and not well made. Husband finished it for me.
Service seemed snobby and was not on top of things. Most servers ask if I would like another cocktail or suggest a wine with dinner, but I didn't that response, so I ordered it myself. The real dinger of the meal was waiting for over 10 minutes plus for dessert and she came over to say she will check on dessert and then went to her next table to take their order instead. I tipped 20 percent because it was Christmas, but I will not return or recommend Morton's to friends.
Classic high-end steakhouse menu with entrees a la carte, shareable sides, and a good assortment of seafood. Steaks were delicious and cooked conservatively. If you usually get medium-rare, order yours medium at Morton's. Attentive wait staff, but not annoyingly so. Desserts are big and shareable as are the side dishes. Quiet classy ambience.
I had a lovely evening at Mortons with my teenage grand daughters. They offered a special gluten free menu. Our dinner was excellent!
The staff were very friendly. They loved the decor and history. Thank you Mortons, we'll be back.
Lobster and Lamb were good.
I brought m son (24) and daughter (27) in for her birthday dinner, our 1st time at Mortons. We chose to sit in the bar, it was beautiful and the bartender/waiter was fun and rustic all at the same time.
I did ask the waiter his opinion of the Steak Dianne as this is my all time favorite, he gave it a thumbs up. What I was delivered was a dry filet with a couple of curly mushrooms. My past experience with Steak Dianne is table side and a wonderful sauce, which is what I was looking for. I did ask for sauce and it was brought out to me.
Over all it was a great experience, pricey but I knew that going in.
One of the steaks was overcooked and some of the sides were cold when presented. For the high price, the food did not measure up. The Manager did refund the price of the one steak and made another one later, that was cooked to perfection.
The service was impeccable....the food was delicious and the side portions plentiful. It was a wonderful dining experience.
Michael Hanke the GM takes a great restaurant and makes it outstanding! Personality plus and he knows wine like few others. Mortons is my go-to for any occasion!
A wonderful meal to celebrate a day in Seattle. Melt in your mouth steak! Staff are very helpful on making choices and awesome.
I would not go back. The food was terrible, ordered the bake potato and the whip butter would not melt on the ice cold and under cook potato. The broccoli was mush and the crab cake tasted if were previously frozen. The steaks were good, but I have had better. I have to say overall the meal was a miss.I have to say the waitress did an excellent job as I have some special needs as far as salt goes and she went out of her way to work with us.THE POOR REVIEW ON THE FOOD DOES NOT REFLECT HER IN ANYWAY,
We had an incredible meal at Morton's! Our waiter, Joey, was excellent and provided us with recommendations that were "spot on"! Our steaks were cooked to perfection and the sides we selected were very good. Their wine list is varied - both in selection and price.
Morton's is on the expensive side but is very much worth the price. We have eaten at some wonderful restaurants in the US and abroad. We would put Morton's right at the very top of the steakhouse list!
We look forward to our next visit!
I've been to several Morton's across the country and this one was not up to par compared to all the rest.
The whole experience was terrific. We would recommend without hesitation.
Went there for a milestone birthday. They had prepared custom printed menus which was nice and our server was friendly. I found the prices to be totally over priced even for a high end steak house. 4 of us cost $580 including a bottle of house wine and tip. I also had to send my steak back twice because they couldn't cook my meat well done...I know...it serves me right for asking for well done but honestly if you can't cook it the way I order it after 2 tries you shouldn't be in a high end steak house. The food tasted great and we did have a good time but for the price I left feeling a bit jacked.
I recommend the tuna tower appetizer, great blend of flavors in unique presentation.
General Manager Michael is always their to make sure your visit is outstanding. Won't find better food anywhere in Seattle. Great place to go for any occasion.
Service was poor. Purchased a 2012 bottle of wine but they brought a 2014 bottle of wine. We asked the waitress why we did not get the 2012 bottle to which she did not have an answer. She said she would have her manager come over to talk to us. Manager never bothered to talk with us. There were only three tables in the entire dining room with patrons so we can only assume the manager just didn't think he needed to talk to us. We did not want to make a big deal of it. We hoped our business was important enough to Morton's to at least have the manger come talk to is. Judging by the almost completely empty dining room, they need to focus on better service. Food was good but not good enough to excise the poor service. We will choose from another steakhouse in Seattle such as The Met or El Gucho next time.
Perfectly prepared steaks every time. It is a must stop during each of my Seattle visits.
Our dining experience with Mortons Seattle was nothing short of amazing. Our food was delicious and our server was nothing but friendly and made sure our experience there was one to remember. We already made reservations for our next visit ! 5 stars all around !
Steak was raw, asparagus stringy. Don't waste your time at this mortons.
The steals had no seasoning. Brussels sprouts bland. They got our order wrong which caused us to wait a over an hour and 15 minutes for our meal. What a disappointing experience. Daniels or Jak's is where we will go from now on!
Best night ever. Our food and server were fantastic.
Excellent food and very attentive service. Only dissapointment was we were charged $4.25 for a small glass of club soda. When you pay $50 for an entree, gouging you for club soda is silly.
One of three steaks not prepared to order. Ordered medium rare and received medium well. Refused to allow Morton's to prepare a replacement because we all know it is delivered just about the time everyone else is finished eating. Morton's did the right thing and did not charge for the bad steak. Service and all other things were what you would expect from Morton's Steakhouse.
I think you have an excellent facility with excellent service! But I was very disappointed in the value for what I paid. As a physician visiting with my son (also a physician); although we could afford it, we found the value lacking. To pay $15 for a baked potato and an entree for $26 that only had one shrimp, one scallop, and one oyster was embarrassing to me. I had suggested the restaurant to my son. He was on a business expense account and had to pay for his soup (despite my offer to pay) with his personal credit card to defray the business cost.
I have not always been privileged but I believe to charge so much for so little is not good. I hope you see my criticism in a positive way and not a nasty way for the ambiance and service was great!
I hope you will adjust your prices or give more for the amount charged.
Best Regards
Michael
Any time, any where, Morton's gives us perfect dinner.
Of course, steak is highest grade, but
I'm sure all ladies love the Morton's hot chocolate cake.
Terrific, friendly and professional host and wait staff. We were running late due to Bridge and I-5 traffic - when I called, they told me not to worry and that they would hold our reservation. We arrived 30 mins late, had a wonderful dinner and still made it to Benaroya on time.
I have eaten at Morton's four times now. The first three times was superb. The fourth time was horrible. Five of us paid about $500 for dinner and all five or our steaks were overcooked. Mine was burned and tasted like charcoal. Two of the people in our party went home and were sick through the night. I don't know what went wrong, but this was the worst meal I had in a long time and it was very expensive.
Very high class restaurant, great food, in a great location.
Great service and great location! We had an awesome server who made my birthday feel very special. The only thing though was for 7pm on a Friday night I thought the crowd would me a little more lively. But many it was the day..
We will be back!
The Cajun ribeye was outstanding. It was prepared perfectly for medium rare. Will definitely come back here.
Great dining experience. A bit pricey but worth it. Service was outstanding.
