    Grace was an amazing server. The foid was exceptional and we enjoyed our night. little loud and we had one strange moment when it looked like the person sitting behind us leaned over and took a picture of my date. That was strange but did not ruin the evening. I tried some things I normally wouldn’t and glad I did. Successful first date. 👍

    Unique and interesting omakase experience. There were not as many raw dishes as I might have expected. Our server and everyone on the team did a fantastic job. Thank you for a memorable dinner!

    I had the omakase. My husband had salmon entree. We sat at the sushi bar, where we could see all the magic happening. It was very delicious and great experience. Each of the dishes were very well made and beautiful to look at. High quality food. Our Server, Ed, was very knowledgeable about the dishes, Great Chefs, and great staff. We will return.

    We had incredibly good sushi & sashimi at Morimoto for our anniversary dinner. The service is thoughtful and impeccable. It just got a little noisier as the night went on and the place filled up, I wondered if the sound echoes off the walls as we were a party of two seated against the wall.

    Everything we tried (party of five) was very good, from appetizers to sushi, sashimi and other entrees The woman who waited on us was a delight. Four of us did the premium flight of sake, and the one preferred by all was Yuki No Bosha. Soft on the palate, fruity but not sweet.

    Our service was superb. She was super informative. Ambience was beautiful. I though it was a little pricey. And i eat out often. The restaurant prices have definitely escalated, but I felt it was a little high. I will def be back tho.

    Amazing meal restaurant we have been to omg over 50 times never disappointed this wasn’t my typical omekasa but the oysters toro wagyu and seasonal sushi were phenomenal. And our waitress was amazing!!!! This staff is always top notch. Her saki and sushi suggestions were on point

    Omikase food menu was exceptional. Beverage pairings were also great. Service was subpar overall. Our main server was very nice but outwardly complained to us and other tables about being understaffed - not our problem when we are paying for an exceptional experience. I would have liked more of a description of the dishes and the beverage pairings. Restaurant was loud, so it was challenging to hear soft spoken servers bringing each dish.

    One star for food, one star for Bill. GM trying his best to keep customer happy. 3 negatives 1. Extremely slow food service..under staffed kitchen 2. Server didn't communicate how long it would take for food to be served 3. Front desk not setting proper expectation on how long the wait was even with reservation(we were told 5-10mins wait, but it ended up 25min) expected to wait and average restaurant, but expected more from Morimoto. Almost 2:45mins for simple dining

    Starting with the good, we had excellent service. You can tell everyone there is passionate about customer service and customer experience. Our waitress had a positive energy and a smile the whole time, which was refreshing. The atmosphere was good, but based on some of the photos online/on the Morimoto website, I was expecting a bit more. It was very dark in there and not in a “ambient lighting” way. The food was overall good, but I found their selection of food options very limited in comparison to other sushi/Japanese/fusion restaurants I’ve been to in the Philly area. This could be purposeful on their part, maybe they want to do a limited selection really well versus a larger selection kind of well. The wagyu dumplings were delicious, the tuna with crispy rice was good, but not a huge fan of the whipped/puréed tuna on top, our rolls were yummy as well. My boyfriend said the Chicken Katsu Curry was also good.

    A bucket list item for us. One of us had the Omakase upgraded with Wagu and one ordered a few other items....Black cod was amazing and each tasting was seasoned and plated beautifully. The strawberry pavlova was a perfect finish. Very high priced but we felt well worth the food and experience!

    Went here for my birthday. Great value, tremendous food quality, excellent service, and attention to detail. Would definitely recommend. While the design/restrooms facilities have aged and could use a refresh, this still executes Steven Starr’s expected level of excellence, flawlessly.
