    Sent Ramen back. Overcooked noodles and chicken broth had an unusual flavor. Dumplings were excellent. Toro sushi was the best I have ever experienced. Otherwise sushi and rolls we’re pretty average.

    Always love the experience at Morimoto. Service with Sam was incredible. However they were not staffed appropriately for how busy it got. As the meal went on things got extremely drawn out because of this.

    Great sushi and an excellent omakase. Our server (Christine) was very thoughtful and helpful. Not too sure of the lighting or the (immovable) light fixture on the table. Highly recommended!

    Food was delish . Brought an out of town visitor . Service slow - took 20/30 minutes for our cocktail to arrive . Crowd kind of random - mixed bag of people , from elderly to sweatshirted 20 something’s .

    My friend and I came here as I’ve wanted to come ever the restaurant opened years ago. I highly recommend going with the digital menu which features seasonal seafood flown in from Japan every week. When we went, Chef’s Choice sushi was $75 for eight pieces or $80 for 16 of sashimi. We did the sashimi so both of us could try all the selections. OMG. We also went with a seafood in a butter sauce which had whitefish, lobster, scallop, shrimp, and bok choy. Outstanding. We had some of the best service I’ve had in a long time with Isaiah, and the evening was perfect. Very noisy restaurant when full and it was shortly after we got there about 5:30. Very expensive…$280 for two entrees, four cocktails, and the seasonal sashimi not including tax and tip.

    Amazing food! Amazing service! Our waiter made my fiancés birthday beyond special. Still dreaming about our meal the day after! The sushi tastes too good to be true. The wagyu hot stone experience was super fun. To top it off, the fire ball chocolate dessert was unforgettable!!

    Have gone to this restaurant for years. When Chef Masaharu Morimoto first opened this restaurant with Stephen Starr this was a 5 Star Restaurant. Chef Morimoto was often in the restaurant overseeing the operation. He has since gone on to open other Morimotos (like all Chefs do), and slowly the quality has declined. I always felt Morimotos in Philadelphia was better than Nobu in New York, however I no longer feel that way. Still a good restaurant, just not what it use to be.
