Morimoto Asia is Chef Masaharu Morimoto first pan-Asian restaurant. The creativity of Chef Morimoto is already one of the most inventive forces in Asian cuisine. This culinary destination includes unique exhibition kitchens that showcase traditions like Peking duck carving and dim sum. Morimoto Asia’s eye-catching, 36-foot tall, two-story layout includes lounges, private dining spaces, and an exhibition glass encased kitchen that allows guests a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the culinary action. The second-level sushi bar and lounge have a separate entrance.

Morimoto Asia is located at The Landing at Disney Springs, an entertainment-dining-retail district. With an overhaul and re-branding of this portion of Walt Disney World Resort, Disney Springs will present a fresh and new face to the magical kingdom that is sure to be an extraordinary experience.

                                                                              Ordered the Toro tartare but they not available so we got the yellowtail. Presentation was terrible, yellowtail was pulverized. Resemble cat food and the toppings were bland & colorless. Dim sum were good-but great, lacked flavor. Peking duck is traditionally cut & served table side but not here. Not sure what happened to most of the duck but we weren’t served an entire duck. The presentation was nice. Duck was crispy and delicious. Overall a bit disappointed. Service was outstanding 5 star. Noisy due to screaming children but expected since it’s Disney.

                                                                              We were four of us, and we were seated right next to the dish station, so we had to deal with constant noise throughout the meal. Our waiter was unclear in his explanations and seemed unwilling to speak Spanish, which made communication difficult. It was also my birthday, but no one came to sing or acknowledge it, which was really disappointing. Overall, the service left a lot to be desired.

                                                                              A must try when visiting Disney Springs. Reservations were easy and the service was great. Our waiter Steven was knowledgeable and made honest recommendations about the best dishes. The duck was amazing and my family thoroughly enjoyed it. We will be back.

                                                                              Marimoto Asia has definitely stepped up their game from when we were here six years ago. The food was great the Peking duck the ribs and the Mongolian fillet were absolutely delicious. Staff was a little slow on refreshing drinks, but other than that was a good dinner expensive for what you get though

                                                                              Peking duck and spare ribs were outstanding, as always. Popcorn shrimp was, no lie, all batter. I think there were two shrimp in the whole $18 dish. I mentioned it to the server and he said, “that does happen.” Service was slow, which was ok because we were enjoying our family time together. It would’ve been very stressful if we had an agenda. I had to take plates from another table because our food had arrived and they never replaced our appetizer plates. We come for the Peking duck and will be back because the good outweighs the bad.
