Morels Steakhouse & Bistro - Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
We have only been to Morels for breakfast-and it is one of our top two favorites in Vegas. We go early, so crowds, noise etc are not an issue. If weather is good we will always opt to sit out on the patio. Since we are there for breakfast the strip is quiet and it is very pleasant to sit outside.
Menu is very good and my husband has tried waffles, pancakes, American breakfast etc over time and is always pleased. Sausage is really a favorite of his too. Add to it the Bloody Mary or Mimosa and he is totally on vacation! I love their crab and asparagus Oscar Benedict. Soooooo Gooood ! And always have a couple (!) Bellini’s! Prices are high - but the food is excellent and the whole event takes us away from everyday life. Between Morels and Tableau - it’s a tough choice to make for best, but the Bellini is the best ever in Vegas
This was an absolutely horrible experience. We did not get service without having to ask for extra plates and for water and for menus and for dessert. The food was absolutely disgusting. The lamb was so burnt. The clam dish was not able to be finished since it was so bad too.The wine that they chose for appetizer was so bad we couldn't drink it. I just for wine suggestions and they never sent anybody over to even talk to us. What a disappointment. My sister brought me here to celebrate my birthday and I can't tell you how much our hearts were broken that this restaurant spoiled the occasion.
This is the best steak I've ever had in my 56 years. They claim it is grilled at 1200 degrees, which must explain the perfect searing and lightly charred exterior, and perfectly cooked all the way through to our exact specification. We ordered the Morel cheese plate, which was really interesting with the suggest white wine selection. It is the most I've ever spent on a steak. We had no appetizer, no side order, just the cheese plate, steak, their least expensive wine by the bottle, and with tip it came to a bit less than three hundred, so be ready to dish out some bank. We chose to eat inside because the outdoor setting is not romantic or elegant, so you would essentially be on the noisy strip with everybody watching you eat, cars honking, etc. You're paying way to much for that experience unless that's what you're looking for. The waitress was a sweetheart.
The food was horrible . I ordered the huevos rancheros and got a sloppy mess of uncooked eggs with watered down black beans and rubbery old potatoes on the side My husband ordered the salmon eggs Benedict and fared better, but we both left feeling ripped off.
Main server was OK. Problem when food arrived. Wrong steak for one of our party. Forgot mushrooms. Food was just OK. My steak was dry. Sauce was just OK. Would have liked to have other choices for sauce. Secondary server had to talk very loud due to background noise. Was yelling right into my ear and spitting on me at the same time. Overall, not a good experience.
We went to Morels with a group of 14 girls for brunch! It was a fabulous dining experience. Everyone enjoyed their sandwiches or breakfast options. The Bottomless mimosas and bloody mary's were a huge hit as well! Definitely would recommend this restaurant to others for brunch!
Sat down and was told they ran out of three things two of which I was ordering. 5 people wanted the braised shortribs and that is one of the things they ran out of. The halibut was $41.00 and not more than 3 or 4 ounces. The manager was very nice and gave a drinks and a free dessert for the table.
Difficult to provide overall rating because some of the dishes we had were very good (rack of lamb) others, particularly the side dishes, were so-so (mac&cheese, mushrooms). Chocolate mousse dessert was made tableside and was outstanding! The service was great, very attentive. Atmosphere was fine, although it was not very busy while we were there -
we sat indoors, not on the outdoor patio. We were able to have a conversation without having to raise our voices. Bottom line: depending on what you order and your preferences, you may or may not find this is worth the price.
Service was excellent! Restaurant decor is classic steak house, with large black chandeliers, nice, but nothing special. We ordered wine, appetizers, salads, steaks and sides. Everything tasted delicious, the only reason for the 4 is My wife ordered her fillet medium and it was more medium rare and I ordered a ribeye medium rare and it was medium to medium well.
One of the very best restaurants in all of Las Vegas, and we travel there quite often. Everything you order is top quality. The steaks are perfectly cooked, the wine list is fantastic, and their selection of almost 50 different cheeses is amazing. The service is also top notch from top to bottom. And they have the best outdoor patio in town with a view of the strip. This place is so good I can't even think of where they can improve. You will not go wrong ordering anything on the menu, and they serve all three meals.
