Terrible service, food more than average. Overpriced and very disappointing
This is a wonderful place to have dinner. The only down points are these. One they sat us outside which was a bit noisy and chilly. Two my husband ordered the Filet and fir the price your got nothing else. ( a tad expensive) The quality of food and service was excellent.
Had to wait 20 mins after reservation
Everything was delicious, service very good. Less than excellent rating due to the table location.
Overbooked so we were not seated until an hour after our reservation. Always worth the wait though.
Great service, wonderful food, and a comprehensive wine list. We had a great time!
Food and service were exceptional. Best steaks U have ever had.
The food was way over priced for what we got. My spinach beneath the chicken and the sauce on the chicken was way too salty I couldn't eat it. The servers were attentive though.
We were seated by an exterior door that was incredibly windy as servers went in and out. We complained several times even when one of our diners was wrapped up in the drapes from the wind, but the server said they couldn’t do anything it was just the weather. After one large gust one of our party ended up covered in red wine as three glasses spilled all over her and they finally took action.
Very great steak
Service friendly and good advice
Breakfast was OK except espresso which is not a real one
Service was OK
Price a bit too high... Strip
Went for a work dinner, food was delicious, but service was less than desirable. We ordered dinner as “family style”, 3 steaks and a few sides. The food came out before we had plates or steak knives, they weren’t sliced (which we had requested since we were sharing), and we sat staring at them for 2-3 minutes while they got cutlery and plates. The waitress then cut the steaks at the table since the kitchen was “busy”. Just an odd experience for such a high-quality restaurant.
If you 're a meat lover that is the place to be. waitress was definitely the best ever and all the team there makes your experience a great one.
We sat down at 5:45 ordered dinner no later than 6:05 and then waited an hour to get the meal. i could understand is we had varying meals, but everyone either did fish or steak. it does not take an hour to cook steak or fish. When the food arrived the food was excellent. Unfortunately, some of the attendees had to leave and could not enjoy what was served.
45 minutes to get lunch. Food was cold, overcooked and mediocre. Service slow.
Had a reservation for 9 people at 8:30pm. Arrive at 8:20pm and was told they were backed up - still working to seat their 7:30pm and 8:00pm reservations. This was incredibly frustrating - kind of nullifies the reasoning for making a reservation when you still have to wait to be seated. Ended up being seated at 9:10pm.
The food and staff were great, so the dinner ended on a high note.
The food and the service was great.
Good steak and seafood. Great place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Absolutely positively the very worst experience I’ve ever had at any restaurant ever been to in my entire life I would never go back to this restaurant I would never recommend this restaurant and I hope it goes out of business
For bottomless mimosas and a hearty meal to share.
Great place for brunch, especially if you like bloody marys.
Terrible experience to spend the New Year's dinner, lousy reception with reservation we waited 45 minutes for poor organization and the service was very bad. WE DO NOT RETURN TO THIS RESTAURANT !!!
Made reservation day before for 9:15pm on Dec 31st. Did not get the table until 22:00 or later. Apparently it was overbooked and that was causing significant delays for everyone. So the whole booking ahead was pointless. Also, no offers to make it up for it was suggested, which is just bad customer service. They could have at least offered a free drink for people like us who were waiting for half an hour (or more) despite making reservations.
We went for New Years Eve. The food was cold, service was delayed and erratic with no personalization, and I saw 3-4 times the servers deliver the wrong food to the wrong tables. Being busy, and NYE should not be an excuse. Such restaurants should be prepared and staffed properly with well-trained service.
Cena de año nuevo
Great way to celebrate our 20th
Pasamos la noche de ano nuevo en el lugar. Realmente muy dificil de antender tanta gente con un srevicio exelente y una comida exelente. Aun asi resulto muy bueno. La pasamos bien. Exelente carta de vinos.
I was very excited to have NYE dinner at Morels, we're we're seated promptly at our Reservation time. The food, however was a disappointment...My husband had the aged New york with an add on Lobster tail mashed potato side and green bean side. He enjoyed the new York and green beans. Unfortunately the Lobster was Luke warm and overcooked and lacked the flavor of anything the mashed potatoes as well...My Ceaser salad was good but nothing special, my Lobster and Scallop Spaghetti unappealing with overcooked seafood served in the shell with cold left over lobster meat in the claw..Our waiter was good but due to the Holiday busy off course.. We paid 300.00 for two drinks and two Entrees so to me poor Value for our Money.... Note : Charlie Palmers is by far Superior to Morels by leaps and bounds!!
We did not get what we ordered but the server changed the price and gave us a dessert. There were stains on the table cloth and one of the chairs had a big rip in it. I didn’t pay 150.00$ for that. It was very disappointing to say the least. Now I can see why they weren’t busy on a Saturday.
Loved this place! My friend and I got the Christmas set menu and it was great value for money. The food was delicious, the staff were attentive. If I'm ever back in Vegas I would definitely return. 5 stars all the way!
Quiet atmosphere. Streak is only steak, you add in your sides (separate cost.) petite salad is for two, could be a side salad.
Outstanding, great food service and location.
Will definitely return when in Vegas again.
La carne pedida sobresaliente, los side dish buenos, una atencion agradable y pasamos un bueno momento
We enjoy fine dining especially when we celebrate our Birthday/Anniversary. This was our first time at Morels. Our waiter was friendly but maybe too friendly. He talked way too much. The atmosphere didn't represent that of fine dining. We ordered surf & turf (lobster & rib eye) which was good but not exceptional. Overall, we felt like it was a waste of time and money and wish we had tried one of the many other restaurants in Vegas for our special occasion.
The restaurant and service are fantastic. Unfortunately the food has gone downhill. Fondue was delicious, Caesar salad was tasty. The filet steak was tough, no presentation, just steak on the plate. Pasta bolognese was bland and overcooked. Lump crab cocktail was mushy and mixed with mayo, mac and cheese was tasteless and overcooked. Used to love this place sadly its no longer up to par with the other excellent steakhouses in town I would not recommend the food here. Manager was very apologetic and gave us delicious deserts and removed the bad food from the bill. I hope they find their way back to their excellent standard of delicious flavor and presentation.
The service was great and the food was delicious from appetizer to desert. Try the lobster it's amazing but make sure you are hungry cause its huge.
Delicious food! The Scallops as an appetizer were great, melt in your mouth. The Filet Mignon was very tender and great vegetables... the piece de resistance was the Creme brûlée at the end ... great meal
Morels offers a brunch on the weekend. It was the perfect choice for us as some in our party wanted a late breakfast and others an early lunch.
Staff was friendly and wonderful. Food was fantastic.
I've been here before with out of town guests, and it was great. This time was so disappointing and very expensive. The steaks were tough and cooked improperly, and the Bearnaise sauce had to be sent back as it wasn't made right. We were starving so ate the food anyway. Even the mushrooms (what the restaurant is named after) had no taste. For a $60 steak, one shouldn't have to saw thru it or break a tooth.
Our server apologized time and again, but clearly the bar and kitchen were having issues. Over 30 minutes to get the first drinks, then when 2 of us decided to order wine, it took so long that we only had one glass each. They didn't even give us new forks and knives before the main course was served. The manager comp'd one of the appetizers that we hadn't even ordered and a dessert, but it was not enough.
This place is located in a major convention center hotel and they knew there was a big group in town. Nothing new, but clearly they were unprepared or ???
For the price, there are 5 million other steak and seafood places in Vegas. Save your money and go elsewhere. I will.
Breakfast was very good. Eggs were light and fluffy. Fruit was fresh and cold.
