Delicious food! The Scallops as an appetizer were great, melt in your mouth. The Filet Mignon was very tender and great vegetables... the piece de resistance was the Creme brûlée at the end ... great meal
Morels offers a brunch on the weekend. It was the perfect choice for us as some in our party wanted a late breakfast and others an early lunch.
Staff was friendly and wonderful. Food was fantastic.
I've been here before with out of town guests, and it was great. This time was so disappointing and very expensive. The steaks were tough and cooked improperly, and the Bearnaise sauce had to be sent back as it wasn't made right. We were starving so ate the food anyway. Even the mushrooms (what the restaurant is named after) had no taste. For a $60 steak, one shouldn't have to saw thru it or break a tooth.
Our server apologized time and again, but clearly the bar and kitchen were having issues. Over 30 minutes to get the first drinks, then when 2 of us decided to order wine, it took so long that we only had one glass each. They didn't even give us new forks and knives before the main course was served. The manager comp'd one of the appetizers that we hadn't even ordered and a dessert, but it was not enough.
This place is located in a major convention center hotel and they knew there was a big group in town. Nothing new, but clearly they were unprepared or ???
For the price, there are 5 million other steak and seafood places in Vegas. Save your money and go elsewhere. I will.
Breakfast was very good. Eggs were light and fluffy. Fruit was fresh and cold.
Great food. But really loud. Couldn’t have a conversation.
I booked a reservation for 8:30. They couldn’t seat us until 9.. they did what they could to make up for it, but when it comes to important dinner meetings with potential clients, a 30 minute wait in a very loud lobby makes things awkward.
Way, way too crowded and noisy. People kept bumping into us, couldn’t hear eachother speak, tables were way too close to one another and the baked potato was very weak, I’ve seen much better at Denny’s.
Conference was in town so there was three times as many tables. I love this restaurant but it was like eating in an airport. Food was wrong upon delivery. Workers did their absolute best but it was a zoo. Too bad. Never again will we spend that money for a horrible experience.
Overall ok. Pricy menu as expected. Two in my party complained the steaks were overcooked, but did not say anything until after we left. Good wine selection.
They were clearly overwhelmed with it being AWS re:Invent. Tables were really tightly positioned causing crowding between tables in the round tables. The service teams could barely do their work.
The steak was prepared well but of poor quality meat
Patrons were mostly in sweats, baseball hats and sneakers.
We were hoping for a romantic environment but we were disappointed
the waiter was excellent but the Manager was dull and pretentious.
would never recommend this establishment to anyone
Seafood extremely pungent with a questionable taste. As someone from the East Coast, this was not high end price worthy for the oysters or lobster. This was poor even for a chain type restaurant.
Each course brought with it new wait staff. None of the shift work between the wait staff included passing off food allergy. Glad we questioned things being delivered to the table or we could have experienced big issues.
I recommend finding a different restaurant.
Went to this restaurant at Thanks Giving specifically for the advertised Thanks Giving Menu. Really wished I had gone elsewhere. Food was not really good and not value for money. The service was dreadful - I expected more from an establishment spouting it sophistication - the restaurant's ego is far more than it can actually deliver. When they are unable to provide spoons to eat your appetiser - yes the soup arrived and three attempts to get a spoon were ignored - no one knew where they were kept and a salad that promised so much -- spinach leaves, accompanied with apple and blue cheese - well two small pieces of apple and a single blue cheese sprinkle. Not a good start to our Thanks Giving. Think long and hard before visiting this establishment - over priced, over rated with extremely poor service. The only positive is that I am really glad I did not order steak - I would have probably been expected to kill and butcher the cow myself.
Steaks were a disappointment. Swordfish, prawns and oysters were good. Trio of creme brûlée was tasty. Poor value overall.
Only received one bowl of soup..!! Had to ask for the other for my wife.. Also had to ask for bread..! 🤪
We had the Thanksgiving fixed menu, which cost $76. The starter soup and salad were okay, certainly nothing special. The turkey was processed/formed, not fresh. The gravy tasted like it came out of a can or plastic pouch from a TV dinner. The “roasted root vegetables” consisted of steamed broccoli and cauliflower. The mashed potatoes were bland and vastly under seasoned. The plate was supposed to come with cranberry compote but was left off. When I asked for it, they gave me a scant tablespoon serving. The pumpkin pie seemed like store-bought from a bargain grocery store. Believe the poor Yelp reviews and save your money. Any of the other restaurants in the Venetian/Palazzo are better than this place.
Very good but pricey.
57 for lamb chops and basically no sides. Went to dinner last night and had great Mexican and bill was 44 for 3 of us.
Would go back if had a special value night
Great customer service from everyone!
Thanksgiving meal was awesome and worth it!
From elegant atmosphere with a nice window view of The Palazzo strip to the great service & SCRUMPTIOUS food, I highly recommend this place!!!
Always can count on great food and service here.
Great service
The steaks are excellent! Service was attentive
La carne quemada y la mesera que me atendió se sentía Ucraniana y era muy malencarada
Slowww service. Cold steak and potato. The lobster mac must have sat under heat lamp too long- dry and overbaked. Way overpriced and nothing worth writing home about foodwise.
We went for my birthday dinner and it was a great experience. The food was amazing and the setting was beautiful. A must try for anyone coming to Vegas.
Food was good. Service was poor. Took just over an hour before our entrees came out. We watched a table of 4 that was seated after us get served before we did. For a pricey place service was poor.
My husband and I had a wonderful dinner on the veranda overlooking the strip! We had cheese fondu and I highly recommend it. Our filets were cooked to perfection! Its now our new favorite in Las Vegas! We will be back! Service was top notch!!!
Service was a little slow- we were seated for at least 15 minutes before we were approached by anyone. One guest ordered a second drink , that again took forever to get....and they were out of their Hamburger for lunch.
The service was great. Wait staff was on point. The cheese bar as well as the fresh meat selection was fantastic. Great wine selection. The main course was lacking for the price point. Overall the main course and sides were just ok. Not bad, but not 60 dollar plates. This was the general consensus of our group. Now, Maybe my expectation was set higher than usual because there are so many great places to eat in Las Vegas.
The Caesar Salad made table-side was disappointing. Too much yellow lettuce and dressing was mediocre. Definitely nothing memorable. The salmon was very good but too many mushrooms.
Will not return with so many other choices.
The food was great, perfectly prepared...Our service made the evening though...had a very helpful and informed waiter that provided excellent guidance.
This was my second time here and it was a huge disappointment - service was very poor and they weren’t that busy perhaps staff were stretched too thin between inside and outside. We ordered a second bottle of wine that never came. The servers brought us food meant for another table. By the time a glass of wine arrived the food had gone cold. For that price and based on our prior wonderful experience we expected better. We won’t be back.
Exceptional service and fantastic fine dining experience.
This was a great experience. They know their meat. Fantastic wine list with an educated Sommelier to assist. Quiet booths and larger tables. Staff was very experienced and food educated.
Been wanting to try this place for awhile, but glad I didn't have to do it on my own tab.
Server greeted us from the beginning by saying "not trying to rush you, but you should hurry up and order". Apps were good, but the steaks were not worth the price - clearly paying for ambiance. Mashed potato side was worse than powered ones from a box.
Restaurant will NOT cork your wine, but did have a pretty wide selection at a reasonable price.
Would only be back if someone else was paying.
The service was average for this level of steak house. I ordered the tartare and it was very small, while the Greek salad was Neal sized. The fillet was good and cooked close to my order. We were disappointed overall as we expected a premium experience. No gluten free bread options.
Fantastic food and experience, overall just outstanding!!
Would have been nice to know that they were adding a service charge ($250) to my bill ahead of time. Based on the great service we received this practice cost our server $50+ .
Dear Guest, Thank you very much for dining with us at Morels. I sincerely apologize for this and it will be looked into and addressed to my team. If you decide to join us again in the future please let me know, I would love an opportunity to personally welcome you back. Sincerely, Andy St. John General Manager
For a nice steakhouse like this, I was very disappointed with the steak. It was not tender, quality was very average at best, and when you consider the price, it was a complete disappointment. I've not been to Ruth's Chris, but have been to several other high end steak houses and the quality was far superior. The people, service, atmosphere, all were excellent. The steak, and the Asparagus, also not very good.
As always, Morels was outstanding.
