Such a great and cozy vibe to catch up with friends. Portions were small but would still go again.
The staff was absolutely amazing!! The food was delicious. Definitely would go again!
Overall very nice. It's a bright spot in the grim COVID restaurant landscape.
It was so nice to return and eat indoors. The staff was very friendly, all safety protocols were in place, we felt very comfortable, and look forward to returning in the future.
Quiero volver a comer Lasaña ahí o cualquier pasta.
It’s a great environment and fabulous food
Morandi Sunday Brunch Feb.22, 2020. Best maître d' in town! Excellent wait service. Love this place!
My freshly made pasta, mmmm. Perfecto! The Tagliatelle was cooked perfectly and the bolognese sauce was sooooo good.
the food was very delicious, the person who took care of us was great and nice but the hostess wasn't as nice. She offered us one table which was in the middle of traffic when she could have suggested options. Thankfully, a table freed up and we moved with the blessing of a different host. But overall the restaurant is great!
The outdoor dining setup here was amazing: Heat lamp overhead and an additional one on the floor beside our table. Staff was also amazing. However, the brunch left something to be desired. Food was just okay; honestly, the quality that I could make at home. I've been to other Keith McNally restaurants and hoped it would be just as good but it sadly was not. I'd maybe try this for dinner instead of brunch.
Absolutely incredible ambiance
Morandi exceeded my expectations! The service was incredible and every dish was better than the last...not to mention that I felt extremely safe dining there in the current circumstances. I'll be going back very soon.
love it!! perfect food, quiet ambience and great service.
Good food, but not outstanding. Could have been better for the price. Service and ambiance were excellent.
We visited Morandi on a Thursday evening and sat outside in the chilly New York weather. The heaters could have been a liiittle warmer but we were okay! They sanitized our table twice before placing down any silverware/plates and the staff was incredibly nice. We ordered the bruschetta to split as an appetizer and each had a pasta dish for dinner. Amazing! Their drinks were delicious as well. Highly recommend!
Delicious food, impeccable service! The cream sauce for the scallop agnolotti is to die for 😋
We had a reservation and had to wait almost 40 minutes past our reservation time to get our table. It was freezing outside in the waiting area with no heaters. They did give us one glass of free champagne, but I more wish we had been taken to our seat promptly.
The food was not good.
One of the hosts was apparently best friends with the table right next to us, so when we did sit down, we had to spend a good half hour to 45 minutes listening to them LOUDLY talk about some sandwich business he was opening. It was so loud my tablemate and I had to stop talking because we could not hear each other.
Finally our reservation was over and the restaurant was nearly empty. There was no one waiting. We asked for one more glass of champagne... and were told no because there were dinner reservations. My friend used the restroom and about five minutes later, there was still no one waiting for a table and the place was even more empty, so we asked again. They finally saw how ridiculous they were being and served us another glass. It was quite strange and they were definitely playing games, which certainly do not benefit them during a pandemic.
With so many other good restaurants in the area, this is one to avoid.
The cacio e Pepe was so yummy and so was the insalata verde. Both paired well with the Chianti! Such a cute place and great service
Delicious as always! Team did a great job considering current COVID restrictions.
Appetizers were the star!
A great experience, as always!
Always a great pick. The food is amazing and they have a nice outdoor setup to keep you covered and warm.
Amazing! Hadn’t been in a year and the food was even better than I remembered. Had the salmon with broccoli rabe and potatoes for side dishes. Soooo good! Service was exceptional. The manager made sure we were comfortable and warm. My macchiato was made perfectly. Will be going back soon!
Excellent service. Covid safe. Warm. Spectacular food as always. Jordan makes you feel like you are walking into Italian family kitchen for dinner.
Cold and should be 20 % capacity unside
This has become my “go to” spot for dining. Consistently good food, excellent friendly service and they make a mean Negroni. What’s not to like.
Even the outdoor dining is done right. I haven’t had a bad meal yet!!
good outdoor seating with heat lamps. service is very very good and food is tasty
Wow. They need to bring Roberto back
Nice heated outdoor Italian restaurant with great service and yummy pasta!
Amazing service! Will be back very good. Great traditional Italian food!
Wonderful food but service was bad - didn’t have a table reserved when I arrived and did not feel tables were properly socially distanced. Would have gone somewhere else if it wasn’t Christmas Day & could have walked up to a new restaurant.
The burrata and tomatoes appetizer is amazing. I love their pastas as well.
Nothing special. The fried calamari was a huge disappointment and my husband’s steak was more gristle than meat. The cacio e pepe was really good, though.
I love this place but they only have overhead heat lamps and it was freezing. Coming back when it’s warmer than 50 degrees outside
Nothing really special, small portions and a bit overpriced especially wine
Excellent Service, one of my favorite places in the city for dinner.
Both the service and food were amazing!
has lost some of the character it used to havebest
