Wow. They need to bring Roberto back
Nice heated outdoor Italian restaurant with great service and yummy pasta!
Amazing service! Will be back very good. Great traditional Italian food!
Wonderful food but service was bad - didn’t have a table reserved when I arrived and did not feel tables were properly socially distanced. Would have gone somewhere else if it wasn’t Christmas Day & could have walked up to a new restaurant.
The burrata and tomatoes appetizer is amazing. I love their pastas as well.
Nothing special. The fried calamari was a huge disappointment and my husband’s steak was more gristle than meat. The cacio e pepe was really good, though.
I love this place but they only have overhead heat lamps and it was freezing. Coming back when it’s warmer than 50 degrees outside
Nothing really special, small portions and a bit overpriced especially wine
Excellent Service, one of my favorite places in the city for dinner.
Both the service and food were amazing!
The restaurant was very quaint and romantic feeling. The service was great, as was the food! We would go back for sure!
Great food, great staff!
I love Morandi, our waiter was THE BEST <3 The food was great ... Just need to bring ack the deep fried olives. I was looking forward to it.
Great food, and I felt very safe with the Covid precautions they took. They made outdoor dining in December a pleasant experience
From start to finish we had exceptional service. The food was delicious and the servings were perfectly paced.
We enjoyed our dining experience and will definitely go back. But, I question the value of two items - $17 for a glass of house Chianti and $12 for the pudding dessert.
Please note, overall I enjoyed and will be back. Keith McNallly’s restaurants are magical.
Honestly this place is the best. Everyone here is super warm, welcoming, and professional. The outdoor patio is smartly set up, and indoors is also gorgeous! My friend and I had the best time. Highly recommend: the salmon, the scallop pasta, any of the Prosecco cocktails, the espresso martini, and obviously the tiramisu. I’ve literally raved about this place to everyone I care about in the past few days lol. A legit Italian joint in the West Village! If you sit outside, you get a nice view of a little park across the street. 10/10 would recommend; can’t wait to come back again soon ♥️
Also, I respect their decision to stay closed even when outdoor dining/takeout/delivery was possible. I think waiting and fully preparing to reopen was a very good move, and it shows. So — props to the team!
Judy was amazing, everything was soo good! The scallop ravioli was next level, and the two carafes of chianti were perfect!
When one thinks of a cool, good NYC restaurant in a movie, and wishes to visit it in person, this may be it.
Socially distanced and amazing outdoor ambience
Consistent food, service and ambiance
Great food and service. They were very busy during a Saturday brunch and we had to wait for our ordering - the manager graciously provided a bottle of Prosecco as an apology. Always enjoy morandi!
Enjoyable brunch with amazing hot Toddy and Irish coffee. A lot of cool people and good vibe mood
Please get more heat lamps —
Perfect meal on a beautiful fall day. Everything was lovely from being greeted by the host to the cocktails and to the delicious cacio e pepe. Morandi is definitely a neighborhood gem.
fresh simple ingredients make for an amazing dinner. Linguine with clams and the perfect negroni. You might as well be eating fresh pasta in the Italian countryside.
Morandi is my local go to, but the tables are getting a little too close for comfort. They have the space - space them out! Otherwise fab as always.
Baes first Morandi and our anniversary dinner
The food was incredible as usual - tagliatelle alla bolognese was the highlight. Service was wonderful, was there for a business dinner and we ended up staying at the table longer than expected and we didn’t feel rushed or as if it was an issue.
Good service, food and atmosphere...always enjoyable and my neighborhood go-to spot!
This was the first family meal in months - great to be eating outside in an unseasonably warm November evening. The distance from other tables was enough to feel comfortable. Somewhat high noise but manageable. Food and wine were great -definitely try the fried artichokes - and service was very efficient and friendly.
Our reservation was at 10pm and we got there around 10:05pm. The waitress got our drink orders first and then came back 5 minutes later trying to rush our food order while we were still looking. We were still deciding on what to get and as we were looking at our menu our waitress keeps telling us “the kitchen will close soon” 4 times. I understand the kitchen is closing soon but that doesn’t help me what I want to eat. I was trying to ask about the foods but she was rushing me and basically ordered for my table. I don’t recommend going late because I felt pressured and ended up not really enjoying the food I got. The portion is small and very overpriced.
Awesome food, service, vibe, as always on a bright sunny day! All outdoor tables full & bustling w/ plexiglass separators, indoor tables very well-spaced & adhering to COVID-safe distances. Food delicious as always...love the meatballs, fresh asparagus salad, & tender grilled octopus! Efficient friendly service despite being so busy.
Consistently one of the best Italian restaurants in NYC. And the friendliest staff ever!
Love this place! Service & food are outstanding!
Always love it here, the food, service, and my date had a great time:)
Great food and service, they even offered us dessert on the house.
I had a wonderful lunch at Morandi. The bibb lettuce salad, the cacio e pepe and the hazelnut chocolate cake were all just delicious. The service was excellent and I enjoyed the nice outdoor seating.
Poor planing with reservations and tables
You need heat lamps!!!! Was freezing. Buy them!!!
