Great service, delicious food, and a beautiful location.
Great food lovely staff
Great service. Good food. Good prices. I will be back.
The food was very good- lots of choices for very different tastes.
What a great spot indoors and out. Service was outstanding and our dinner came out piping hot. Delicious the whole way around!
Overall, excellent experience... the fries are outrageous good :-)
Service was excellent...warm & friendly. The crab cakes out of this world.
I'd recommend outdoor dining
Nice place, the menu, perhaps, is a short one, the plates we try were tasty and with a good presentation. The service, that day, was a little bit short, so we had to wait more than desirable.
The atmosphere at Morada is always pleasant - especially out on the patio where you can enjoy the best of San Diego weather. Try the Royce Salad or calamari or ahi poke. It is really hard to go wrong.
Having brunch outside adjacent the to hotel's lawn was lovely. We appreciated the extra special touches of an Easter brunch menu and a live musician. Tables were nicely spaced out and they brought in extra tables, chairs and umbrellas to accommodate all the dressed up diners.
We are local and always come here for Easter brunch, but wouldn’t have known it was Easter if the bunny didn’t stop by and deliver a chocolate egg with peanuts (were not alerting but were super surprised) right after breakfast was served so guess what - the toddler didn’t eat the breakfast but instead ate the chocolate - no special Easter brunch and our food was served cold and there was egg shell in our over medium eggs and the waffle recipe and waffle iron were different and bland this time and these are a regular favorite! It was disappointing and unfortunate.
I made a reservation for outside, but didn't realize you had to ask for front. I didn't like the back. The table and chairs were not comfortable.
What a relaxing quiet spot to have lunch with a friend or spouse - especially in the courtyard or outdoor patio. The food is delish and staff accommodating. GREAT spot!
Always a good experience! Our service was exceptional !
We got married at the Inn 16 years ago and returned for an anniversary dinner. We had a great experience overall. It was nice to return to reminisce and enjoy a nice meal. We were seated outdoors. The service was excellent, food was hot and delicious and the setting beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful experience overall!
pablo was excellent - very patient and attentive! we’ll be back!
Food was excellent, and it is always very pleasant eating on the front patio overlooking the front lawns and trees. We had to wait about 15 minutes before anyone came to our table to take our order, but the waiter nicely removed the cost of our drinks from our bill, so I gave them a 5 for "service." All in all, a very! nice experience.
food was a surprising disappointment. But the hotel and ambiance was wonderful- probably good for a drink and appetizers.
Awesome server and service.
The ambience is always very good here, the service is excellent and there is variety in the menu. Very pleasant and relaxing.
Dutch was fantastic!
Great dinner in the library room.
Great service food
This was my first time dining in Rancho Santa Fe. I was on a double date with some friends.
Atmosphere and restaurant setting was amazing. The food was amazing as well (Fried Calamari-Crab Cake-Short Ribs-Pork-Brussel Sprouts)
We sat outside in front of restaurant and it was a bit chilly. There also were not enough heaters for all the tables.
Overall experience was an 8.5/10 (Would come back)
GREAT OUTDOOR AREA VERY WELL PRICED MENU FOOD WAS TOP NOTCH
It was a nice dinner, table , view and great service
Perfect spot for lunch with friends and felt safe outdoors with plenty of distance between tables.
Great food, great service and fantastic outdoor dining venue!!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at The Inn. We felt safe, everyone wore masks, it was quiet (i.e. no street noise like other venues), the staff was attentive, we never felt rushed and most of all the food and wine were excellent. Our go to place now!
We were staying at the Inn
great outdoor dining lovely view and friendly service staff
The setting was tranquil. The menu provided a lot of choices. We ate outside on the veranda and I would love to go back soon.
Terrible service, we wait more than 45 minutes to get our breakfast!!
The food ok but a horrible experience!!!
Very quiet, tucked away restaurant. Little pricey for quality of food, but consistent quality service and prime location.
Amazing service, great food, and the ambiance was perfect for a Valentine’s date night!
Valentine’s day
First, the good: food was very good, both ordered the Reuben. Had planned to order fish tacos but they were not local fish as stated on menu and only limited to mahi mahi. The glass table was spotless, cutlery, etc. all super clean.
Second, the average: It was valentine Sunday lunch so 15 minute wait at table before we were approached for an order and another 25 minutes before the sandwiches came.
Third, the poor: disorganized at entry check in and need to learn some professionalism. We were told to arrive 5 minutes ahead and were actually 10 ahead. We waited while the hostesses dealt with one customer ahead of us with no reservation. Then we continued to wait because we were told our table was being cleaned a total of 20 minutes. While we waited a party of 6 came with same reservation time we had, and were seated immediately at a lovely table on the veranda with a view. We were next shuttled off to an interior (no view) patio where smaller tables were seated. After our long wait, this seemed rather unfair and when I asked about a table with the view the response was "fully committed". Message here: Do not expect great service unless you are a large party! We are locals but do not plan to hurry back to Morada with so many fine and well run restaurants here on the coast!
We made a reservation here for Valentine’s brunch to enjoy the beautiful view and patio. Instead, we were seated in the back in the dim library. Service was very slow and food was ok.
Our server Max was friendly, knowledgeable and engaging.
We always enjoy the food and ambiance here. This past Sunday morning however, some of the service was poor, with a friendly waiter who however ,never apologized for the following.
After our food was served, we needed to wait around five minutes for our server to appear to tell him we had no silverware. When he brought it, after a few minutes,we noticed that our napkins were damp. We began to eat, not wanting our food to get colder. We again, sat with damp napkins on our lap ( it was around 59 degrees outside ) when 10 minutes later, our server arrived asking if we needed anything. We asked for dry napkins and explained the problem. He returned , not promptly with different napkins. It almost appeared as if he didn’t believe us.
It was Valentines Day but the restaurant at 10 AM was not so busy to warrant this lack of attention. We are usually not complainers
But this seemed a bit much.
We may still return since we enjoy the food and ambiance,
I’m not sure.
