Our waitress was fantastic! Wine was great, main course ( mahi and risotto) was not good at all. The pineapple cheesecake was delicious!!
Cori our server was excellent... we SO enjoyed her!
The waitstaff was amazing. Good excellent!
Food was great. Recommendations for preparations and sides from our server AJ were terrific. Super nice!
Nice atmosphere but overpriced average food. Shrimp was over cooked and rubbery. We do not recommend this restaurant.
Our waiter (Olana ?) was exceptional!
She truly made our experience outstanding
Said was our waiter. It was very nice meeting Said and talking with him. The food and service was fantastic. Would definitely plan to visit again the next time we're in the Orlando area.
Food was good but ... We had a reservation for 8:15PM and were seated at 8:45 on a windy patio at the bar, while people who had later reservations were seated before us, at tables inside. On top of that, the restaurant sent OpenTable a note that we didn't honor the reservation, even though our party was there at 8PM.
Waiter didn’t know the menu.
It was OK - nothing special for the price; not even a bread basket on the table.
After waiting our reservation was pushed back because of a business party, we enjoyed it. It was absolutely above what I expected! You have to experience it!
Excellent meal - Salmon was well prepared and delicious. Kids were also happy with Chicken strips and our vegetarian was well satisfied as well. Tough to make everyone happy!
Seafood is very fresh - my salmon dish was excellent! One of the best pieces of salmon I've had. The ambiance is unusual - very quiet. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are staying at the Gaylord Palms!
I liked the food and the service was great! I found the menu to be limited.
Must try the fish dip and she-crab soup! Fish and chips are delicious. Our server Enrique was very friendly and had excellent recommendations.
Salmon was very good with fresh vegetables. Enjoyed the quietness after a long days flight. Left feeling very satisfied.
Food was over priced and limited selection. The food was not quality for the price. It was my husbands birthday and the waiter asked my husband who's birthday it was. Totally ruined the suprise. If the prices were less it wouldn't be as bad. Just overall not a great experience.
We had such a lovely time at MOOR on Valentine’s Day. The food, ambiance and service was top notch. The only issue we had it that I had made reservations for my husband and I 6 weeks before the day because I wasn’t taking any chances for being able to dine on the boat. We came on time and still had to wait about 20 minutes for a seat. The manager was sweet but she did explain that walk ins take precedence there?
Check-in was very long and disorganized, even though there were only 3-4 tables seated and one other group waiting to be seated. Waitress gave wrong information about valet parking validation. I ordered hot tea and was told sorry, there was no hot water for tea. What? The kitchen couldn’t boil water???? I was treating 2 friends from high school 50 years post-graduation and was embarrassed by the quality of food and service. It was a very quiet night there for dining—maybe others are staying away as I will in the future.
Great atmosphere and great service. We enjoyed the conversation with our server and management was so polite. Will be back for sure!!
The restaurant is located in the Gaylord Convention Center so it is not the easiest place to reach. But once you are there it is a delight. I like that they only feature fresh fish, which on our night was Mahi Mahi, Red Snapper, Swordfish, and farm-raised Salmon. I had grilled Red Snapper and it was delicious. The side dish was Risotto with cherry tomatoes. Excellent. We had cornbread and biscuits for an appetizer and for the salad heirloom tomatoes with fresh goat cheese. Service was excellent. For the two of us with drinks and tip it came to $150, so this is a special occasion place. Considering that most of what you find around the Magic Kingdom are chain restaurants this is a good alternative.
While our waitress was efficient, she made us feel very rushed. Our dinner guest was from out of town and we hadn’t seen him in a while and we wanted a leisurely dinner.
It's a cute restaurant, with good food and a good vibe. I like the boat; I kind of wish it felt a little less like a prop and a little more authentic...maybe if the water it was sitting in had some kind of texture to it, or the sail? Semi-pricey menu, but a good selection, with some healthy options.
First time at hotel
Table service was OK, but bar service was not. They ran out the wine my wife was drinking and instead of letting her choose something else they substituted a cheaper (very bad) wine. When we complained they again served something completely different, still not telling us they had run out the first choice. Situation could have been handled much more professionally. Not how an upscale (bar should be run.
Very bad experience. The seafood restaurant ran out of shrimp and all but one of the fish on the menu. Service was slow.
The food was just ok. Vegetables were awful and fish dry.
The waiter never came back to fill water glasses or ask about another cocktail ?
We asked at one point what time are they closing because we felt their no interest in our table.
We will not return or recommend. Sorry
Food was terrible, had better/fresher fish at Red Lobster. Was supposed to be fresh off the boat Wa-hoo, more like fresh off the bus after being caught a week ago. Then it was over cooked. Wife's pasta was undercooked. Very disappointed especially for the price. On the positive side the bar was nice and the cocktails were very good
Very nice setting. Only complaint was the menue was very different than the one posted on open table. It was a limited seasonal menue. Also the service was rushed even though the restaurant was mostly empty.
Great service and and atmosphere
We reserved our table and requested to sit on the “boat” we were sat quickly and they made it happen for the boat! Our server Ms. Coraier was absolutely fantastic. She made the visit unbelievably great. But when it came to the food (except the soup, that was what Coraier recommended, and it was GREAT) the food was HORRIBLE. Besides the fact that it took forever to receive our food, the tables around us were seated after, they ordered after and received theirs first. We went through three groups around us before we received our food... when we received it, it was HORRIBLE. Coraier was extremely embarrassed over the situation and tried to go above and beyond to accommodate us. (We understood it was not her fault and never complained). For it to advertised as a “high class restaurant” the clothing that people had on was just very uncanny. The restaurant gave a description of what to wear, yet people were dressed like they were ready for bed, or like they were just out of the pool. But the restaurant was clean, the servers and of course mainly Ms Coraier were all great. The boat was cool and very pleasing to the eyes. Over all, the food was disgusting, disappointing, and really NOT worth the money. I hope Ms Coraier is treated great she would be the ONLY reason to return
My wife and I visited Moor because we had dined there last year. We like the food and relaxed pace. The service is attentive without being intrusive. An added bonus this year was that my wife left her purse at the restaurant and they had found it and returned it to our room that very same night! Most grateful.
The food was overpriced and there was not much selection. They were out of multiple types of beer listed on the menu.
This is the second time we have dinner at this restaurant. Food was very good. We had a very nice waiter. The place is beautiful.
I explained to my waiter that the fish on the fish and chip meal was not completely done. They were doughy underneath a crunchy outside. I had no problem paying for the meal, however, I would have thought a manager would have greeted me at the table so I could express my concerns. That didn't take place.
The first negative was the parking. We had to park adjacent to the exhibit hall and navigate the maze to find the restaurant. The food was ok but easily forgettable.
We had a reservation and asked to sit on the boat upon arrival. The hostess said that wasn't a problem, then waited for more than half the boat to empty before seating our family of 4. Thought that was odd. Waiter was amazing at first. He was very attentive, knew the specials, and made wonderful recommendations. The food was incredible! Then the waiter didn't return for 30 min. We waited so long for the check. Finally received it, and he never returned, so we left $120 cash on the table. Weird ending to a delicious meal. I'd suggest you get food to go if you're staying at the hotel like we were.
It’s been years since I’ve been here. I almost didn’t return due to the recent reviews I read. I decided I had to see for myself and boy am I glad I did! The she crab soup was absolutely amazing and the crab cake sandwich was very flavorful. The service was great. We had a reservation at 5. We were seated at 5:04 on the boat as requested. The prices were nothing near what I thought I was going to dish out. Over all fantastic experience. Will be going back during our stay at Gaylord Palms.
Never got the table, was a complete disAster for us and for everybody else who showed up there
