MOOR at Gaylord Palms Resort
There is more to MOOR than what we serve on the table. MOOR is a state of mind. It’s that time at sea when you’ve found your destination and all is right with the world. The boat is anchored and the drinks are in hand. Kick back and unwind aboard our reimagined dockside dining space. With the charm of a captain’s paradise and the class of an upscale yacht club, MOOR is everything you’ve imagined and more. But don’t let the sophistication scare you - we're all here to have a good time.
And always remember… there ’s MOOR to Life.

Wonderful brunch! Great meat carving station, the braised pork belly was amazing.
Great staff, Angel is an amazing waiter!
Nice experience for the atmosphere and the only sit down breakfast option.
The food wasn't bad but nothing memorable. Severely overpriced!
Definitely not worth the money!
Pros: Excellent food and service on the adult menu. Beverages are loaded with alcohol. Seated promptly at our reservation time and food was served quickly.
Cons: Kids menu is very expensive for the amount of food you receive. Somewhat noisy due to the atrium setting.
We were staying at the Gaylord for our son’s 8th birthday and we booked Moor for his special dinner. He was excited to eat on the boat. When we arrived we were told there was no guarantee we could get on the boat to dine. We decided to wait for a seat and thankfully one opened up within about 10 mins. Our server had zero personality and hardly engaged us at all about why we were there or what we might be celebrating or even making recommendations on the menu. The food came out on time and the portion size was decent. Our kids ate everything which is good. Overall though for the price point I left Moor feeling underwhelmed about our experience and frankly taken advantage of which is unfortunate. Moor is a classic hotel restaurant set to take advantage of conference attendees who have nowhere else to go. I doubt that’s what they are going for but that’s the feeling we had when we left. I wouldn’t make a special trip to dine there again.
We were celebrating my Mom's 80th birthday and we could not have had a better waitress!! Helen was absolutely delightful and so personable! We were showing her pictures from our summer trip to Wimbledon, her home country of England. She shared our excitement & was just an attentive lovely server! The food was delicious and hot, not to mention, so delicious! Excellent experience all around! I give it a 10!!☆
Food was delicious as always. We ordered the Fish and Chips and the Lobster Roll and both dishes were well seasoned and decent portion sizes.
I would recommend this place mostly because of ambiance of the restaurant area and the convenience of location if one stays in the resort. Otherwise, the flavors in the dishes are somewhat bland for very high prices.
Food came out cold, I think they forgot to bring it out for a while and brought the appetizers at the same time of the main course. The waiter kept forgetting things, we have it here several times before and this time I was by far a bad experience, I don’t think will be back
The food was terrible. The chicken was dried up with no flavor. The risotto was undercooked and cold by the time the food reached our table. The lobster roll for $22 was all bread with 2 bits of lobster. The kids fish and fries were cold as well. The waiter stated he would bring out new food, we waited and waited and waited some more... no new food came but the check did. All the waiter said, I so sorry I will take the risotto off. Never again. Service and food was under par at best. Save your money and aggravation and go to McDonalds for filet of fish and kids burger meal.
Eat here every New Years. My daughter got sick after eating a burger this year. My dinner was rare after I ordered well done. Overall it wasn’t how it’s been in the past. Very disappointed
New Year’s Eve; service was fair, somewhat slow. Food and beer were both good in taste but lukewarm in temperature, unfortunately.
I had two teenagers with me and it was a very limited menu. They were in the mood for crab legs, but that was not available. I realize it is a sustainable local menu, but you can have a cheeseburger anywhere, and they did.
The waitresses took too much time to come
To the table . My fish was cold I had to return it to heat it . They need a new dessert menu , we didn’t like anything of the desserts , they didn’t look good .
For a family with young children just try and have a bite to eat the menu was Slim and overpriced. I had a spinach salad for $14 and it look like a baby side salad. The children's flatbread was a tiny piece of bread with sauce on it for $10. For just a cheeseburger with fries it was $17. There's no reason to price gouge just because it's in Gaylord Palms their water that they served tastes like dishwater. Our server was nice and friendly. The cheeseburger and the children's chicken sandwich did taste great.
Price for amount of food was obscene. The salad was equal to the size of a side salad, not a full lunch salad. The fish in a fish sandwich, while thick, was also small. Lobster roll for the price was also small. Food tasted good, but the amount for the price was simply outrageous.
The food was awful and grossly overpriced. All 3 of us were very disappointed!
Disappointed with the portion size of my dinner salad. I’ve had side salads bigger than this. The fried calamari was soggy and lacked flavor.
We went here for a Christmas vacation. The server was terrible. He acted irritated to even be there. Took us several rounds to get the order right. When it was time for dessert, he said “I would offer you dessert, but it’s not very good”. Wow! I’ve never experienced anything this bad, even at restaurants that were not as nice. I would never recommend to anyone.
Spent $71 to drink ice tea and eat the saddest looking salad for $22.00 each. Restaurant beautiful, service excellent. Ridiculous price for what you get, never again.
Food extremely overpriced. Very small portions. Excellent service and ambience.
Atmosphere was amazing and food was delicious! We are so happy that we made it to MOOR during our trip!
32nd. Wedding anniversary!
The staff was very professional and courteous. They offered suggestions and though it was Christmas Day they seemed happy to be there and helped us to settle in nicely. The lobster roll was so yummy and the soups were delicious (yes, we had both).
Moors looks picture beautiful, good atmosphere.
It is to expensive for the amount and quality of food, very limited selection, out of only 4 appetizers on the menu at least 1 was not available, same about main course and vine.
Was hard to make a reservation on line for Christmas eve, shows no availability, but in reality, more then half of the tables were empty.
Service was not the greatest, but 18% gratuity was already included in the bill.
We ate here on Christmas night after checking in, the waitress was great, she took pictures and was great with getting us to our concert on time.
I found the food to be overpriced the portions for half of chicken were actually 1/2 of half and the side was undercooked. The taste was bland and dry the fish and chips were extremely greasy no taste and the cheesy grits were returned due to the lumpiness and bland flavor. The server was not very service oriented.
Below on all parameters. Food quality was low. We ordered chicken but it was more than just over cocked. Soup was micro heated. Drinks, starter (soup), main and dessert in one hour. Didn’t even want to eat the food.
Trust the many reviews - you are better off with everything else.
Very average cafeteria food, for exorbitant prices at a unique setting.
We have been here before and enjoyed our meal those times. We expected a better meal. The portions were small considering the price. The vegetables were very undercooked although we had asked for them to be done, not half raw.
The grouper had no seasoning, the risotto was bland and sticky. The biscuit appetizer and the desserts were Great! My husband had the shrimp & grits and some of the kernels were hard. For the money per plate Xmas lunch was a big disappointment.
The service was ok, not bad, not good, we order 2 shrimp cocktails for $21 each and the shrimp was chewy like under cooked bacon,I have had better for alot less. The grouper my daughter order was over cooked making it dry and my wife had fish and chips which were no better then Long John Silvers, it was hard to eat the way it was served in the baskets should have been served on a plate or bigger basket where the fish would not be on the french fries. For what we paid and what we got it was way over priced. We will not eat there again and would recommend friends not eat there.
My wife and I have been going to the ICE shows for over 10 years and we have finally gotten a chance to eat at Moors. It was very enjoyable and quality food and service. Thank you.
Food is delicious and dining on the boat is enjoyable.
Great waitress, great appetizers, main course wasn't big enough for cost. Food overall for taste was a five star.
Moors will validate parking if you spend at least $75, which isn’t hard to do. Extremely worth it. Celebrated a special occasion and enjoyed every minute.
Fine very expensive drinks
