A large selection of fresh seafood dots the Moonraker menu with items like Dungeness crab, British Colombia Fanny Bay oysters, Marin Miyagi oysters and ahi tuna tartare. Other options from "the land" include pot roast, steak, chicken picatta and a vegetarian farm plate. Be sure to save some room for bananas Foster bread pudding or campfire s'mores with a table side hibachi.

Our reservations where actually for thanksgiving day Thursday! When I noticed at 1:30 that day we had been pushed to Friday I call and Emily was very accommodating so we had an table same time that day!!
Very happy with this experience. Service “Jeff” was great and the food was excellent.
Amazing views all around, and food was great.
I’ve always had a good experience dining at the Moonraker. Unfortunately my past evening seem to lack that feel. As a long member of Open table, expected better service. For one, I was denied a seat next to the window even if there was quite a few. When ask why, they said they are “reserving them for the evening crowd”. Also, I noticed bread was offered to some tables but not mine. When I asked my waiter, they said I had to specially request the bread due to fear they will run out faster. If with the concern, I still didn’t get any bread.
I don’t know !!! Maybe it was busier that day, looked quite disorganized. For its price, wish I had a better experience .
The atmosphere and service are 5 star! Loved the Banana’s Foster for dessert. The Burrata was amazing. The calamari was so-so. My scallops were perfect, but was not a fan of the sweet potato purée in combination. They were both tasty, I just didn’t love them together. Would go again.
What a gem in Pacifica! Right on the water with a stunning view and outstanding food and service. We were so well taken care of and so appreciated the beautiful booth and the attentive care - Parking is also easy as Moonraker shares the parking lot with the Lighthouse Hotel.
Great oceanfront restaurant. All seats tables face ocean. Which can be a bit weird if you have a larger party. Great for couples.
Fresh seafood. Crab cakes were wonderful.
We live so close to the Moonracker but just never is on our go to list. The view is so beautiful! We wanted to take an elderly friend to see the ocean and to lunch and this was the best possible spot! It literally feels like you are on a ship on the ocean. There are many wonderful restaurants along the coast but the Moonracker by far has one of the best views of the ocean. It was a very quiet, easy, light Saturday lunch. Not many people there. Wine, clam chowder with bread and butter. The butter had some type of salt on top. The most fun was making the tabletop some mores. Perfect for our elderly friend to feel like we were on the beach making some mores. But we were inside where it was nice and warm and comfortable for her to enjoy. We all definitely recommend the Moonracker for a perfect lunch with a tremendous view!
The view here is amazing! And the cocktails are great! But unfortunately, the food and service suffer. We waited a good 15-20 minutes before our wait staff visited. I ordered mussels and they tasted very fishy as though they were old. I would hope a seafood-focused restaurant would prioritize quality more. If you're up for paying a lot for a good view, it's worth it. But if you're hoping for quality restaurant experience all around it does not measure up.
Special birthday noted when reservation was made but did not get a dessert with candle as I expected so we did not order coffee or after dinner drinks
We had a lovely romantic dining experience here, our server couldn't be better, he was very efficient and thoughtful.
We celebrated my birthday and the desert was fantastic, along with a complimentary proseco. We were staying at the Lighthouse for 4 nights.
Great for views and ambiance. Food, service, and prices were good but not exceptional. Recommended for a formal-but-not-too-formal dinner date with a view of the ocean.
Normally, I love the Moonraker. I like the fact that it has a lot of gluten-free options including a delicious coconut prawns appetizer and main dish. I’ve been ordering a cup of soup and the appetizer prawns but was so disappointed when the appetizer showed up with only two butterfly prawns instead of three regular prawns. I had to order another appetizer because I was still hungry after eating them and my soup, a butternut squash. I ordered the crabcakes but those were also tiny. I guess the Moonraker is trying to put us all on a diet! My boyfriend’s steak Frites also had a small portion of steak. The service is always good. I asked the waiter about the change to the prawn appetizer: he explained that they switched to the butterfly shrimp which are bigger: Not. We ordered a half bottle of a 2013 Kenwood Merlot. It was tasty but getting old because the last half inch of it was sediment. I would order the main dish coconut prawns but it comes with mashed potatoes. Yuck. Who eats mashed potatoes with prawns? The menu says no substitutions but they usually are good about substituting. We usually eat here at least twice a month. I think we’re going to wait a while to go back.
This was a great dinner experience! There is no bad view of the ocean anywhere. We were lucky to have a great forward looking view outside. The piano player was amazing and perfect ambience. We had a little snack prior so no appetizers this time, but we recommended a great pinot noir bottle to start with. She had the scallops, and I had the steak and lobster mac and cheese. Both delicious! The Smores dessert is so much fun ! Will be back again, and maybe not even for a special occasion.
Birthday dinner with a loved one. Scenery was beautiful, food was delicious and the service was great. Definitely a good place to return to and share with family and friends.
This Was Our 2nd Time, and It Was Just as Fabulous as Before. It was My Birthday and We Were Seated at the "Most Amazing Table with The Ocean View" as Requested.
Food Was Delicious and Expertly Presented and the Dessert "White & Chocolate Pave With Rasberries" So
Excellent food and wonderful view.
Loved looking at the ocean as we ate. Restaurant had a very nice ambiance! Looking forward to returning!
This is a lovely restaurant! We had a beautiful table in front of the ocean. However, we felt it was a bit overpriced for the food quality and portions. Our appetizers of raw clams and shrimp cocktail were mediocre. Our dinner entrees were better, but again, overall the total paid for this meal did not meet our expectations.
Great view. Apps good, mains disappointing
This was my first visit to the Moonraker in more than five years. They did not disappoint. The clam chowder was delicious! It was not potato soup with clams thrown in. The lobster mac & cheese had large chunks of lobster in it. The cioppino required you to crack the crab so was a bit messy but was flavorful and full of fish. The lobster tails were cooked to perfection. And the cocktails were made expertly. I will definitely be back.
The service very bad. Take very long to take order and serve the food.
Birthday for my son.
I love it there. It’s my new favorite place!
You come here for the ocean views, the sunset and the atmosphere. Although it wasn't busy, they seated us in one of the less desirable tables 3 rows away from the window and near the corner of the restaurant. For the price, the food is good but neither exceptional nor memorable.
Excellent food, great service, looking over the Pacific
Great food and good view .
Long wait though .
Great experience. Incredible view of the Pacific Ocean. Very attentive server. Would go again!
20th wedding anniversary
Loved the ambiance and the food was out of this world!
Great dinner and nice ambiance.
Our server was awesome!! The meal was very good and the view of the ocean from our table was amazing!!
Our experience was outstanding. The staff were all topnotch and made us feel like valued customers. The food was good, but not 5 star. We both had steak and scallops and was not what we expected. Thin slices of steak, not a solid steak we expected. Both wished we had only ordered the scallops, which were very good.
it was amazing. so helpful. will visit again
Not the best food quality, but the view was just astonishing!😍
Food was excellent, had ocean view.
My favorite restaurant in the area. Of course the view is fabulous but I come for the menu...lots of gluten-free dishes! Going again soon 🤗
We had an excellent server, Veronica. Very attentive. Food was delicious. Would recommend it to friends and family. Best scallops I have ever had.
