A large selection of fresh seafood dots the Moonraker menu with items like Dungeness crab, British Colombia Fanny Bay oysters, Marin Miyagi oysters and ahi tuna tartare. Other options from "the land" include pot roast, steak, chicken picatta and a vegetarian farm plate. Be sure to save some room for bananas Foster bread pudding or campfire s'mores with a table side hibachi.

My favorite restaurant in the area. Of course the view is fabulous but I come for the menu...lots of gluten-free dishes! Going again soon 🤗
It was wonderful to return here after a year of staying home due to Covid. The restaurant as always was clean and inviting. The Covid measures they have implemented make you feel safer and more comfortable. The food was delicious as always, and the service was fantastic. So happy to be back.
This place never disappoints. I hope to come back again someday
Had an oceanview to a wonderful dinner. Wife enjoyed her two appetizers (early dinner) and I loved my main dish. Recommend for any time of day and early evening.
All tables have views and service was quick, helpful and efficient.
A little pricey. But overall it was very nice Everyone was friendly
Buffett as always was delicious but way over priced for Easter. ESP since the service was sooooo poor. Our waiter had no urgency to serve people or get drinks. It took 15min for him to even come to our table after being seated. Nothing worse then watching someone who hates their job.
P.s. They need to update the place. You have this beautiful view of the coast, but an old 70’s vibe going on inside with smelly old carpets.
We were seated at table in front of window.... beautiful scenery of the ocean, and the food and drinks were absolutely an added excellent dining experience.
My wife’s retirement dinner. Great table with spectacular view. Food was great. Server very attentive.
Great experience with decent food and service with beautiful sunset.
We had a great view of the ocean. The service was good. I would have given the food 5 stars (best clam chowder I’ve ever had) however all of our entrees came out and were a little on the cool side.
Wonderful restaurant right on the ocean's edge. Delicious food, with great service. Private parking next door.
Had a perfect dining experience there, definitely plan on going again and will likely stay at the hotel. Everything was wonderful.
I did mention that it was our anniversary and was hoping they would have done something special but didn’t get anything .
Other than that it was great
This was an absolutely beautiful restaurant with gorgeous views. Dinner was delicious and service fantastic! We will definitely be going back!!!
Old school, in a GREAT way. Classic coastal food fare (with some contemporary offerings), attentive, professional service and amazing view. Up to date cocktails and classics. Good wine selection, by the glass as well as bottles. Old school also means seating...not jammed in like "contemporary restaurants, can chat without feeling like you need to shout to be heard. Can't believe it took this long to discover this throwback gem! Will go again....and again....and....enjoy!
Moonraker is a great place to go for drinks and dinner at sunset with the last bits of light linger while the sun sets over the ocean waves.
Phenomenal food, exemplary service and amazing ambiance on top of a fantastic view. One could not expect more. Thank you so much for such an amazing dinning experience.
Loved it. Beautiful view. Sea Food appetizer was out of this world.
A wonderful evening, gorgeous view, excellent cuisine and fine dining atmosphere. I will definitely return!!
We purchased gifts cards to Moonraker at Costco... thought we would try something new. We were so blown away by the excellent food, service and ambiance. We'll definitely be back.
Outstanding! Had the Valentines dinner and it was phenomenal. Dates with bacon and chees to start followed by lobster bisque and a great salad. Entrees were cornish game hen then kobe beef with scallops followed by dessert. Marvelous cocktails to start with an excellent bottle of wine. We've dined their several times on our trips from Phoenix to Pacifica.
I made my reservation one month in advance since it was for Valentines Day!
I had hoped to be seated in a booth! My husband is 81 and I’m 80. The hostess seated us on these High Hard Seats almost in the bar area. After being so uncomfortable I complained. A booth was available right in front of us and they wouldn’t give it to us! Instead they walked us to the opposite end of the restaurant gave us the last table with four hard chairs! I felt discriminated because we were not a young couple. We watch couples in their twenties and thirties be seated in booths! I will never go their again on Valentines Day! My husband and I have been married for over 50 years, I don’t think booths should be reserved for just younger couples! 😥
We decided to dine here the night before Valentine’s Day to avoid the crowds. The food was alright, but not worth the prices they were asking for. Service was poor: our server did not even introduce himself, and then never came to check on us after the food came out. Luckily, there was still water in the carafe that was on the table, as he did not come by to check if we needed drink refills. It was my stepdaughter’s birthday, and when our server found out, stated he would bring out a surprise for her. 25 minutes later, nothing. Thankfully I had cash on me because if I’d placed it on my card like I originally planned, we’d probably be waiting another hour for him to come back with the receipt to sign. I doubt we will come here again on future trips to the SF/Pacifica area.
Beautiful restaurant, location is terrific.
Presentation of food was nice.
Beautiful views for a Birthday brunch.
Very enjoyable. Beautiful setting. Great service!
Superb food and drink!
Valentines date was wonderful. Service was on point and location is prime. Great view of the ocean from every seat in the restaurant and the fireplace is great for a Romantic setting. Thank you to the staff for mailing our/my first Valentine’s Day special. Kudos to the Chef for a well prepared 4 course entree which started with bacon wrapped dates stuffed with fontina cheese, main course of the Kobe Beef with Sea Scallops were prepared perfectly and dessert of the bread pudding was decadent. We will be back for many more experiences. Highly recommended and must try if you have never been there before.
Great service and the food was delicious. The presentation was outstanding . The price was very reasonable for what you were served. The view is also outstanding, it's like you are on the beach with only glass separating you.
Ours server Jen was great. Ours food wasn’t vertical mediocre.
Dinner Birthday Celebration
Birthday Celebrations and New Years!
The food wasn't very good. The soup wasn't hot, the Scallops which was their specialty we only got three and you would expect them to be knock your socks off tasty, but they weren't.
They gave us mediocre tasting bread rolls, that you would think in the San Fransisco area sourdough would have been much better.
The desserts were totally unimpressive. The Chocolate Mousse was chocolate pudding and our other choice the ice cream was melted with Chocolate syrup.
Had to request refills of drinks multiple times.
The view was amazing too bad the food wasn't. We live by the coast and go to many ocean front seafood restaurants and Moonraker describes very tasty food on their menu but the execution falls short.
Perhaps drinks and appetizers would have been better to appreciate the ten star view.
Great attentive waitstaff
We had a date night and the ocean view was so awesome. You see waves crashing up almost into the building it’s so close. The restaurant is spread out and conversation is easy...not overwhelmingly loud like so many places. Food was good - we had shrimp cocktail which was well done but spicy; crab legs and soup; and both of us had chicken cordon blue which was done I traditionally and was good but a bit oily. Alas they were out of the dessert we wanted.
Waiter was nice and unhurried - my pet peeve is take away dirty dishes! That almost always happened in a timely manner. The ocean waves and calm atmosphere make it a lovely evening but you do pay for the privilege. Dinner was over $150 with tip and that’s with one glass of not super expensive wine.
Great. Excellent view excellent food and excellent service
Got seated quickly. Beautiful view. Great attentive service. Will be back!
I ordered ribeye and the quality of the meat doesn’t seemed to be the same as the usual.
The server wasn’t as attentive as it used to be, didn’t even bother how the meat was or if it was cooked right to my request.
I’m hoping that it’s just a fluke because I love coming to Moonraker
Moonraker is great in every way. It would be nice if Open Table would ever give me some points on my reservations made through them though!!!! Almost every time they say "this is not eligible for points on your account." Yet they make you use them to book reservations and give nothing back to customers. What a scam and joke. Shame on them!
Moonraker is rated 4.8 stars by 977 OpenTable diners.
