A large selection of fresh seafood dots the Moonraker menu with items like Dungeness crab, British Colombia Fanny Bay oysters, Marin Miyagi oysters and ahi tuna tartare. Other options from "the land" include pot roast, steak, lamb meatballs and a vegetarian farm plate. Be sure to save some room for bananas Foster bread pudding or campfire s'mores for two with a table side hibachi.

We had a great dinner at Moonraker. Our table looked out over the ocean. So peaceful. Our dinner was outstanding. I highly recommend Moonrakers for a romantic dinner. The atmosphere is quiet and great for conversation.
Enjoyed the meal immensely. Being a Saturday night, the noise level was a bit loud, but did not interrupt normal conversation. The live piano music was a nice touch.
Celebrated at this place several times. Last visit was New Years 2018-2019 Great staff
Went on new years eve, it was a course menu that was a bit pricey but very good food. Always a great view of the waves crashing against the breakers.
I have been eating at the Moonraker for almost 50 years and have always been completely happy with the quality of the food and the service. I have taken many out-of-town guests there and they ask to go back there when they come back to visit.
Have dined here for special occasions, i.e. Valentine & New Year's Eve when prefixed dinner & pairings are featured. Have been extremely pleased with the menu, service & view. Well worth it.
It's took over an hour to get our food and when it came 2 of 4 dishes were barely warm. The other 2 dishes were great but I just paid 50+ for cold lobster. That being said the flavor profiles are generally on point at Moonraker. The ambience is always nice.
I have gone to Moonraker many times through the years and they never disappoint. This is a true foodie experience with amazing fresh ingredients and exquisitely prepared food. We always share meals and one of our favorites is the wild boar bolognese. This time I added the ahi tuna tartare with mushroom risotto and it was great as well. It's a pricey menu but worth it. FYI The house cab was a steal at $8.50 per glass, I recommend it as well.
The Moonraker in Pacifica has a Sunday Buffet brunch with bottomless mimosas for around $50.00 per person. There is free parking in the Lighthouse hotel lot. The buffet is not extensive, no carving station or omelet or waffle bars, but there are waffles and a frittata option you can order that is included with the price of the buffet. Prime rib is also offered, but it is pre sliced in a chafing dish. The mimosa came poured from a carafe, so it has been premixed, and seemed a little light on the sparkling wine, or it had possibly been sitting a while, as there were no bubbles to be found when it was poured into the glass. The restaurant itself could use an uplift, as the carpet looked old and worn, and the décor dated. Known for its fantastic view of the ocean, there are tables set up specifically to look out the windows onto this view. It would be nice to have those windows washed, so you are not looking through grime and streaks. It is not the best buffet brunch I have had, but not the worst. And since reasonably-priced buffet brunches are becoming harder to find, I will keep Moonraker as an option when the occasion arises.
nice location but food was slightly disappointing - will go again though
Perfect, romantic with a beautiful sunset view!🤓💕👍
Came down to Pacifica for a “staycation” (we’re from Oakland). We found the Moonraker on Opentable and it happened to be right by our hotel. Dinner, service and the ocean view were all magnificent. My date loved the clam chowder and salmon pinwheel. I enjoyed the very fresh Brussels sprouts and tasty pumpkin ravioli. Good beer selection and the specialty cocktail my date had was delightful. The bananas foster bread pudding is the best part at the end of the meal.
We had a wonderfull meal, exllent,we will be going back real soon
I went this place for Christmas eve night for dinner. Nice piano music... Nice lighting, but... food does not much with atmosphere. I may try again when this place is not too busy. I will update when I go there again.
A good food service was reasonable for a busy night seems to have improved since my last visit
I loved the ambiance and view of the ocean!
Food and ambiance was good. Service was subpar.
I came out for a friends birthday and I wish I would have selected another restaurant. It was a brunch buffet even though nothing at the time I booked the reservation stated it was a brunch. I thought I would be getting the regular menu. We were greeted at the front and I stated I had a reservation and we were promptly seated, but we were seated right by the buffet line so we had a nothing but traffic of people getting their food. And the view of the ocean was obstructed by the food and the people: even though there was a whole row of tables with a better view of the ocean. I will not be back and frustrated because I wanted it to be a memorable experience
Great dinner, amazing view, but there was a loud group near us that spoiled the ambience. They should have been in a private room or a far corner.
Hmmmm, well. here goes; the views from this restaurant are great, especially sunsets. The food is overpriced for what you get. The waitstaff is fine, but appeared one waiter for many tables, good thing we were not in a hurry. Maybe somebody didn't show for their shift kinda thing. He was doing his best though, don't fault him. The dealbreaker was the bathrooms...disgusting! Not going back.
Lovely and romantic place. Nice view and service.
Was good and enjoyable. Thanks to the staff for the anniversary cake.
It was our 4th or 5th time to Moonraker. It's been a consistent, nice place for special occasions and bringing Pacifica visitors. The food is good, ambiance is nice and the view is stupendous.
The layout of the restaurant is laid out pretty well to get a view from almost any table. The corner booths aren't very comfortable.
Our server was very nice this time, a bit on the slow side, we should have been clearer from the start that we had a time frame to consider.
We would definitely recommend and return to Moonraker. They do a nice brunch too!
My husband and I went there for a Sunday brunch date and we had an incredible time... great service, delicious food and a breathtaking view! We enjoy ourselves every time. Thank you Jeff for being so very attentive!
The dinning room looks out onto stunning views the Pacific Ocean. We were seated in a comfortable booth right in front of the windows.
The food was delicious, although portion sizes were small. We had the crab cakes and Oysters Rockefeller for our appetizer. For our entree’s we had the pumpkin ravioli and chicken piccata. Both were divine. We followed up with the Bananas Foster Bread Pudding which was amazing.
Prices reflect the location and delicious cuisine.
First time visit; won‘t be the last. Good food, but the flavor of the chimichurri smeared on top of my excellent steak was somewhat jarring. Overall, all four of us enjoyed everything from appetizers to dessert. Very good, attentive service.
Star of the early evening was the showstopping view of the sun setting on the Pacific. Excellent place to bring our-of-town visitors.
It’s a little overpriced for the overall value and quality of food. The view is awesome, there was no wait at all and it wasn’t busy. Service was just okay.
Good foods and service, but I was disappointed with “tea service”
I ordered hot tea and ice cream for dessert. The table server put ONE TEA BAG that I’ve never heard the brand on my table. And a few minutes later after served ice cream, a server delivered hot water in a teapot with an small edge of lemon. The tea was unflavored at all, but It’s charged $4! I’ve expected serving tea leaves in a teapot with the price. *coffee is $3
I’ll be back Moonraker for the food and ambiance, but may not order tea.
It was a wonderful first time dining here for our wedding anniversary ...the food was outstanding, as well as the ocean view from our table. Yes it was on the pricey side but so worth it, especially for 'this' special occasion. Aside from the waiter not introducing himself ( no name tag ) and not pouring our water, the food, service and ambiance was excellent, second to none! Thank you Moonraker for a most memorable evening...
Chose Moonraker for a birthday celebration and everyone was very pleased. Seafood choices were great. My vegetarian granddaughter loved the Farm Plate - very elegant presentation. Our server was engaging and funny. It was a little chilly in the seating close to the window, so bring a jacket - which you’ll need anyway for a walk on the beach afterward.
The best crab and bottomless mimosas . The view of the bay is incredible!
Came here for our anniversary and had the worst experience. We made reservations in advance and requested a window both. We have 3 kids and hadn’t been out alone in a couple years so I was really looking forward to it. Unfortunately we ended up at an awkward table in the middle of the room next to a huge and very loud party in the back next to the servers. People were constantly walking around us and others who hadn’t requested the window booth received one. Food and service were just ok.
nice view of the waves coming in many tables have a good view.
The Seafood appetizer platter was excellent!! It won’t let me upload the picture of it .
My husband and I went for our anniversary dinner. Service, food, ambiance was wonderful. Manager was super nice came to our table and asked how we were doing what brought us in today we told him we were celebrating our 27th anniversary, he sent over a delicious dessert we weren’t expecting. Thank you for making our night truly special
Wonder View. Good food. Awesome Piano Player. (Lee Allen)
I took my sister here for her birthday. The food was amazing ! We got seated facing the ocean so we watched the sunset while we had dinner. It was relaxing, fun and all the food came out perfect! I would recommend this place to anyone.
Great food. Great bar. Great Service. Great view. Always a pleasure to dine at Moonraker.
The service is slow and this place is really not kid friendly at all.
