There were an incredible amount of flying insects in this restaurant!

The night we went there were too many customers for the staff, so service was slow. I think that might not be representative. The wait staff was trying hard and was pleasant. The food was good for an everyday meal, not so much a special occasion.

There were few places available for a last minute reservation, as it was Family Weekend at CU, but we looooove Asian food, so we tried it! The sweet and sour sauce on the chicken had a very tinny, canned taste to it, the sushi rolls were unremarkable. The sesame shrimp was pretty good, no spice whatsoever in the Drunken Noodles (which were specified as spicy). The one dish our family did enjoy was the Thai, peanut and curry noodles. They were amazing! Our waitress spoke almost no English, which made asking questions very tough. One more thing, the advertised cold, unfiltered sake, tho according to our waitress, they didn't ever serve it. We won't be back, unless it's for take out peanut, curry noodles.

The food and service were good here. I had the Night in Bangkok (soft shell crabs with a sauce) and my wife had shrimp. Both were OK. Crab Rangoon was not bad, not great. Wonton soup was best dish of the night. Busy Saturday night but service was OK. Seems like a family-run restaurant.

Food was good, but the entire front of the restaurant seemed to be being run by a single woman and a bunch of children Service was slow, and harried and it felt odd to have child labor in a more upscale place like this.

The food is comparable to a good neighborhood carry-out place. I'd go back if it was close, but I wouldn't make a special trip.

We needed to grab dinner before a show at The Boulder Theater. Hubbie wanted Asian, so we decided to give Moongate a try. What a delight! Restaurant is beautiful; not over the top, not kitschy. While the service is a little vague, the food was delicious. Daughter ordered chicken tempura, Hubbie ordered sesame chicken and I ordered Drunken Noodles. Everything was hot and really tasty. If I'm nitpicking, I would've liked just a bit of "char" on the noodles and more veggies.
We'll definite return to this great find!

We should have known that was a very bad sign. It seemed like most of their business was for delivery. The potstickers were pretty good, but the rest was pretty tasteless. I have had much better Asian food from Pei Wei. A big disappointment and I will not go back, but I cannot imagine they can stay in business on Pearl Street very long when they were empty on a weekend night!

This place is great! I really enjoy the calm, inviting atmosphere. Décor is attractive, interesting, and relaxing. I love the food! It is fresh and delicious, with many choices for all tastes: vegetarian, meat, seafood, spicy or mild. Servers and staff are always friendly, attentive, and competent. This place creates a great dining experience and sets an example of high-quality service and food that other restaurants could learn from. Looking forward to our next visit! Thanks, Moongate!
