MoonFish - Orlando
Delicious food. Great service.
Loved it all. The service was impeccable, the food delicious, and the ambiance was perfect
The food was great, and the service was excellent. The menu is pricey but worth it for a special occasion.
I took my fiancé there for mother’s day , could have gone to other places, next time I will go somewhere else’s.
Food was great but best of all our waiter was awesome!!! She was very sweet and made my mother and I feel the best on mothers day. Definitely going back soon.
Our waitress, Makenzie was amazing! She provided us with top notch service!
Food Was just ok service was great. Many other better choices out there.
We were waiting over an hour for our food. It's not like they were busy because the place was literally empty. Also. The seafood didn't seem fresh, it caused a lot of bloating. The manager was nice though, and apologized.
Excellent service! The trigger fish special with crab was amazing! Wish we had one in DENVER!
Food was delicious.. noise louder than usual due to sapphire being in town convention stuff. Our server seemed new and distracted. Not what were used to. But the other staff made a great impression trying to offset. Great job overall 4th visit. Yes well be back.
Great service and outstanding meal for a night out with the family.
Best meal I’ve had in Orlando. Every aspect is a 10 out of 10.
we have been to moonfiish quite a few times. always very good. this time the food was very marginal. they were purchased and has gone
way downhill in the process. so we will not be going back. way too expensive for what you get.
I live in Atlanta and have been a patron of Moonfish for over 12 years. I bring clients and recommend to friends and brought my family this past January while there for the race. Quality of food and service have not changed at all!
We were very impressed with our server Destiny. She answered all our questions about the menu, made recommendations, and was extremely pleasant throughout the meal, without being too intrusive. The manager Michael went out of his way in asking us how our dinner was going, as well as surprising us with an "on the house" appetizer, and a fabulous dessert for my Birthday celebration. The restaurant was also quiet enough to enjoy conversation without having to raise one's voice. A lovely restaurant overall.
Everything was delicious. Volcano sushi, filet and sautéed mushrooms were fabulous and perfectly cooked. My fiancé had the Hawaiian triggerfish and it was excellent as well.
Great food great service great dessert
The food was delicious and the service was great. The blue crab chowder was wonderful.
food was very good and service was acceptable. Room was very noisy and difficult to have a conversation.
First rule of an over-priced seafood restaurant - don't overcook the seafood. My food was overcooked, rubbery and flavorless. The price was four times what we paid at Cracker Barrel the night before, and we enjoyed Cracker Barrel's food much more. My advice is to learn the basics and get the food right. I would not suggest anyone wasting their money on this one. Very disappointing.
Food was lovely but very expensive and drinks were the same. Service was quite poor and we were told on 3 occasions the bar was running behind and holding things up. That said the waiters were very pleasant and professional and there was a gentleman going around asking if everything was ok and saying to let him know of any issues.
I’ve been a customer moonfish for 15 years . I normally do a celebration there I was celebrating my wife’s 45th birthday with some of her friends. One of your managers walked over and asked who is celebrating I told him my wife birthday. I also told the waitress from the beginning that I would like a piece a cake with a candle for my wife. then also told the manager both of them blew it I had asked several times before it came out service this is horrible bad experience.
This place is awesome. The service and food was exceptional.
Very overpriced entrees. Would probably not return.
Food pretentious but not good
I would not not recommend it
if you plan to dine here, make sure you bring a coat and a scarf. Freezing temperature and wind will give you a cold or a stiff neck if you're not prepared
Moonfish in Dr. Phillips is a wonderful, fine restaurant, great staff. Excellent happy hour and delicious food.
This visit to Moonfish was the first time I've walked away disappointed.
With three friends in town and in tow, my wife and I looked to Moonfish for a wonderful meal. Unfortunately, we got sticky menus, falling decor (a window valance held in place with two sided tape fell comically slow while we sat), and a mixed bag of great and mediocre food.
Appetizers were Volcano Rolls, which were tasty as always, and calimari that was soggy and room temperature, failing to convert a friend into to a "calimari believer". Bread and salad were good but nothing anyone would remember.
Entrees were all over the place. My wife and a friend ordered the Moonfish porkchops. They arrived as the sole items on their plates. No sides, no garnish, no presentation of any kind. The chops were tasty but, as my friend described, "you can tell they were the least expensive entree on the menu". My two other friends order a Triggerfish special and were unimpressed with the flavour for the cost and travel. They liked the green beans but ultimately left hungry. My own meal (Alaskan Cod?) was also a bit disappointing. It was flavourful but felt unsubstantial, served with a separate serving of rice that I had to ration or be left with no other way to enjoy the broth my fish was served in.
We've always recommended Moonfish to people looking for good food in Orlando but will not do so again without checking to see if things have returned to a higher standard.
PS: The roasted creamed corn is a national treasure.
Moonfish is a lovely restaurant inside and always does a super job with their fresh fish.
Es un restaurante especializado en pescados y a 3 de los 6 nos lkego el pescado muy seco y sin sabor
Love this restaurant, the food is always great along with the service. we had the crab legs and they were perfect. the Chilean Sea Bas was fantastic and will be back soon.
Decent food but nothing special, not worth the price!
Consistently good. One of our must-visit restaurants when we are ever in Orlando. Along with the sister restaurant (FishBones), it is great but MoonFish is definitely more updated as FishBones has not had any overhaul in decor in over 25 years and it shows. Not as impressed with the other places in this restaurant chain, but MoonFish (and FishBones) are always wonderful.
It is pricey but priced for the food and it was delish and very friendly
Expected more from moonfish.
We had a reservation for 4 at 7 pm. After sitting in the lounge and ordering cocktails and appetizers during happy hour we asked to stay at that table for dinner. The lounge emptied out and we had the area to ourselves. We had a wonderful and very delicious dinner, and the service was great as well. Although the dinner was more than we usually spend, we will come back hopefully this fall for our anniversary!
Jared our waiter was outstanding! We enjoyed chatting with him and he provided us with great customer service!
Excellent food. And our server, Mike, knew the menu back to front!
We dine here every time we’re in Orlando. The sushi is great and the Mahi-mahi was fantastic! Thanks
The dining experience was very nice. Our only negative issue with Moon Fish - we searched for a sushi restaurant and chose this by review and proximity. This is not a sushi restaurant, but a very nice seafood restaurant that also serves limited sushi. We had a chef’s specialty roll that was fresh and flavorful. We also hat en excellent tuna tartare prepared table side. Grilled oysters were good but not what we hoped for. I’m not sure how this came up as a sushi joint, and considered leaving, but we were pleased by the overall seafood experience and glad we stayed.
