Great neighborhood restaurant with great food and service. Always a good meal!
Noted in reservation made 5 days in advance that it was a special occasion gathering. We were seated in a corner by an open door (it was raining and cold out) and one of the seats kept getting bumped by all who passed by along the pathway - probably every two minutes. We had to chase our waiter down - literally - to get service. The food was ok, but not great. The desert was a saving grace and showed some kind of attempt at service recovery but overall the experience was frustrating and disappointing. I will not go back for a special occasion.
Amazing as always
Great menu fabulous service the no pasta pasta the best!
Wonderful place to relax and have a great dinner.
This is one of our favorite Dinner Out hangouts. Fall menu is so good that we had to go two nights in a row to sample more of the selections. Start off with a fresh Peach Martini, then try one of our favorites, the Fall Risotto, Short Rib Penne Pasta and Sea Bass over mashed potatoes. Must save room for Cinnamon Roll Bread Pudding!! So Good. The Servers are kind and attentive. The owners are there working with the staff creating exemplary care and management.
Town Kitchen and Grill is a local favorite of ours.... dinner for two or with friends or family, we know it will be a casual dining experience with excellent service and terrific food! Always enjoy our time here:)
Usually patrons are loyal to their establishments but this place uniquely servers remember their returning guests. That adds an exception touch.
For me, the specials can be a hit or miss but the “miss” isn’t too far off the mark. The staples in the menu is what I keep coming back for and the consistency of service.
Always good food, friendly and attentive service,
pleasant atmosphere. A neighbor gem.
Loved the round table for our party.
Food was fantastic. A wonderful Birthday celebration.
Trattoria Allegria more than lives up to its name - simple food served in a cheerful environment. Who could ask for anything more from a lunch or dinner. The staff is friendly and attentive and the food is piping hot and served in large portions. You'll leave sated and happy. We'll be back soon.
Our go to spot for a nice evening, great drinks, wonderful food and service. Never disappoints!
Great meal and service!
Overall good impression for our first visit. We were seated promptly for a 6:30 pm dinner reservation. We started with the spicy soy edamame, which came in a bowl more than enough for three of us to munch. They were addicting. Husband and son ordered steaks -- the ribeye and the filet -- which came with either roasted potatoes or fries. I had the burger with crispy onions and brioche bun. We all enjoyed our entrees. Two mistakes were made by the kitchen. My son ordered fries with his steak but it was sent out with the roasted potatoes. The waitress noticed this and said she would bring an order of fries. It didn't arrive until we were nearly done. I also asked for the kale caesar but received the mixed greens. I decided not to bother waiting for a replacement. The waitress was friendly and cheerful but seemed to have too many tables to serve. High noise level but we would go back for the food and hope for more attentive service.
One of our favorites. Good food at reasonable prices. Comfortable setting.
Great dinner with friends, top notch service, and friendly staff.
They make a fantastic short rib quesadilla!
I order it every time I go there. Sadly, they took it off their Summer’18 menu. I struggled to find something else on the menu and settled on a burger that was mediocre at best. Bring back the short rib quesadillas and I’ll continue to be a loyal patron.
This is a great place! Food was very good. We had the brussel sprout appetizer and us adults had the salmon which was cooked perfectly. They have a kids menu which the kids liked. Good desserts and handcrafted cocktails as well. We were able to make a last minute reservation on OpenTable. You need to make a reservation because every seat was filled. This restaurant is a local gem.
We were asked by our friends to be their son's godparents!
The food is fine - the space is nice. It's easy and there is great parking and a good wine selection. BTW, the bartender makes a MEAN Irish Coffee!
We each had the bbq shrimp dish which was so delicious!
Usually,MontroseGrill is above average. This time, the menus was uninspiring. Service, as always, was good.
We love dining at Town in Montrose!! The food is always delicious!!
It was great to bring out of town family here
Love this spot! Always good and the chef is creative and alters the menu often enough so you don't get bored but not so frequent that you miss your favorites.
The appetizers and salads are always good. Pizzas are great and can be a good appetizer as well. They do a good job on the steaks but don't expect the super-thick cuts you get at a traditional steak-house.
The cocktails are excellent! The bartenders are true craftsmen and take pride in their work. You can always find ingredients you've never heard of to peak your interest and explore new flavors.
Servers are the best. They are very friendly and go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your experience.
Great experience and fun from the moment we walked in the door. Sweet staff, wonderful menu and FOOD.
Menu changes daily. Very responsive staff. We went to celebrate our friend’s retirement and they took special care to emphasize the special occasion. Chef also came out to chat and whipped up an off menu dessert for the occasion. Genuine and authentic staff there.
Love the revolving menu and the waiters are always lovely.
Town is delicious. We each had well prepared, tasty appetizers and entrees. The service was prompt and professional. The restaurant was full, so the atmosphere felt lively, but the noise level still allowed for easy conversation for all four is us. We will be going back frequently.
We went there to celebrate my daughter's birthday. The waitress is very nice and sweet. Unfortunately, they changed the menu. So, we couldn't order the menu that we would like to order. We end up ordered BBQ Ribs and pizza. The ribs was great but the pizza was not in our favor( shrimp with avocado). My kids tried a bite and they didn't want it anymore. The taste was interested to me too. I wished the waitress asked our opinion about food so, I can share. But they didn't.
We had a very good dining experience on our first time at the Montrose Town Kitchen and Grill. We plan to return for more gluten-free pizza....it was awesome!
We had an excellent meal with our friends, who were there for the first time. We have been numerous times and are always pleased with the food/service/ambiance. We do have one "suggestion"- we wish they had added the new menu items to the old menu.
Another fabulous repast, with great service and a welcoming ambiance. The Town has a very neighborhood feel but a decidedly sophisticated menu and a very capable chef. A consistently excellent dining choice.
Great food & service. Highly recommend
Go for any reason any occasion, nice to have such a wonderful restaurant in old town Montrose
Crispy chicken and sweet potato hash is very good. My fav - java salmon was delicious.
Excellent service and they keep an eye on your water for refills without asking!
Steve, the bartender, is very personable.
When the place is full, it can be hard to hear at times.
The restaurant is nice. I think it is very expensive for what you get. The drinks are ridiculously expensive. The food was OK, nothing amazing and very expensive. A huge party came in and it was loud. I can't say that I would return. The people that worked there were nice.
Our server was excellent, attentive, and kind. The food was fine, well cooked, but unremarkable. It was needlessly loud with obnoxious rock music that didnt suit the ambiance and made conversation nearly impossible even though it wasnt crowded at all. I cant imagine how loud it would be filled with people! For that alone, I wouldnt go back.
I had the Crabcakes as my entry, and had one left to take home. Whoever packed it added a small container of sauce to enjoy the next day!
Always a pleasant experience. Very good food and reasonable prices. Great for those not wanting large meal. Do wish they would bring back the Caprese salad. Bill F La Canada
Friendly, intimate space, great staff, our last meal there was perfection. Brussel sprout appetizer with a bacon vinaigrette sauce, hamburger with the best fries ever!
