Lovely cocktails very friendly wait staff delicious pizza and crabcakes
I totally picked the right place
Great atmosphere, great selection of dishes,
A local favorite. Always good food and friendly service.
Love, this place. Food is delicious, the staff is friendly and attentive - it's a great neighborhood spot!
The atmosphere and food was on point! We are excited to go back!
Cane to celebrate my moms birthday in a Monday night- Table was ready at reservation time - services day food were good - noise level was crazy - acoustically the space needs some work but a pretty solid restaurant.
the food here is always outstanding which is why I keep coming back.
The food was delicious! I loved everything except for the fact that something I ate gluten free made me ill. I cannot have any gluten.
My kale salad was more like.."want something kale with your iceberg lettuce?" Had a kale salad there before, but this time it was disappointing A.F! Server brought kale in a bowl like "here, here's ur kale for your "kale" salad" oh well...meh on food, alright on drinks, eyeroll on service
.overall experience (this time) was "MEH" to the umpth degree
I'd go again because its just convenient I guess
Met friends traveling from New Zealand. Overall, an enjoyable dinner but it was difficult to carry on conversation due to noise level. Fortunately we were seated in a corner, which helped. Food was good but on the high side price wise.
Town has been my go to place. In fact, every special occasion (family and fiends) this past calendar year was celebrated there with awesome results. So , naturally I came for my own birthday where not only was it not acknowledged despite booking comments, hostess seemed annoyed I even showed up ( not to mention I was the only person of color that night). My regular server was t working hat night and the food quality was unusually subpar ( in addition to the services). In face when I ordered a typical salad indicating that it was to be shared , it was brought to us as a single serving and when I brought it to the hostess’s attention, she snapped back saying we should’ve filed them when we did. Not to mention that the server made a feigned happy birthday retort when we reminded her that this was a special occasion indicated on open table comments and it being explicably disregarded. All we got was a feigned and sarcastic happy birthday and the server prancing alway. All in all it was not a nice night. And a reminder to regret being 40% tippers ( which did not occur that night) especially being customers of color. The hostess whom we thought was new was not which really speaks to entrenched attitudes of the establishment. Its just we’ve had the fortune of not encountering her up until now. It may be that we didn’t noticed it with exceptional service of our regular server. I hope for a different experience and apology from management. Not the review I want to give this place since we’ve celebrated some significant experiences here. Criticism Certainly not the chef or the majority of the service staff just the hostess and server on 11/7. Never been made to feel 3/5 of a person especially on my birthday.
We were there on Friday, 11/02 around 8:40 pm.
Really quiet, very few customers.
Is the Restaurant having issues. Usually on Friday nights, the place is hopping. What is happening?
Food still good but no customers
Wonderful food, wonderful atmosphere. A local gem!
We went to celebrate a friend's 50th birthday and they were packed because of the world series. They did their best to be every where at the same time and accommodate everyone's needs. It fell short when we asked to have our picture taken and for the dessert menu. The dessert was extremely yummy but we all felt like we were an imposition to our waitress which was sad. I do highly recommend the place to anyone and everyone, the food is GREAT!
Love this place. Great food, great service. Wonderful ambiance. We always look forward to going back.
Food and the waitress was great. Would definitely come back. Appreciate the complimentary dessert for my birthday! Nice touch. Only complaint was that it took a long time for the dinner to come out for everyone.
The service is always very good and I like that there is always a vegan option. The chef is also willing to alter recipes to suit dietary needs. If you want a quiet restaurant, this isn't the place for you. But, it's always very lively and a lot of fun. Great food and service. Highly recommend.
Great neighborhood restaurant with great food and service. Always a good meal!
Noted in reservation made 5 days in advance that it was a special occasion gathering. We were seated in a corner by an open door (it was raining and cold out) and one of the seats kept getting bumped by all who passed by along the pathway - probably every two minutes. We had to chase our waiter down - literally - to get service. The food was ok, but not great. The desert was a saving grace and showed some kind of attempt at service recovery but overall the experience was frustrating and disappointing. I will not go back for a special occasion.
Amazing as always
Great menu fabulous service the no pasta pasta the best!
Wonderful place to relax and have a great dinner.
This is one of our favorite Dinner Out hangouts. Fall menu is so good that we had to go two nights in a row to sample more of the selections. Start off with a fresh Peach Martini, then try one of our favorites, the Fall Risotto, Short Rib Penne Pasta and Sea Bass over mashed potatoes. Must save room for Cinnamon Roll Bread Pudding!! So Good. The Servers are kind and attentive. The owners are there working with the staff creating exemplary care and management.
Town Kitchen and Grill is a local favorite of ours.... dinner for two or with friends or family, we know it will be a casual dining experience with excellent service and terrific food! Always enjoy our time here:)
Usually patrons are loyal to their establishments but this place uniquely servers remember their returning guests. That adds an exception touch.
For me, the specials can be a hit or miss but the “miss” isn’t too far off the mark. The staples in the menu is what I keep coming back for and the consistency of service.
Always good food, friendly and attentive service,
pleasant atmosphere. A neighbor gem.
Loved the round table for our party.
Food was fantastic. A wonderful Birthday celebration.
Trattoria Allegria more than lives up to its name - simple food served in a cheerful environment. Who could ask for anything more from a lunch or dinner. The staff is friendly and attentive and the food is piping hot and served in large portions. You'll leave sated and happy. We'll be back soon.
Our go to spot for a nice evening, great drinks, wonderful food and service. Never disappoints!
Great meal and service!
Overall good impression for our first visit. We were seated promptly for a 6:30 pm dinner reservation. We started with the spicy soy edamame, which came in a bowl more than enough for three of us to munch. They were addicting. Husband and son ordered steaks -- the ribeye and the filet -- which came with either roasted potatoes or fries. I had the burger with crispy onions and brioche bun. We all enjoyed our entrees. Two mistakes were made by the kitchen. My son ordered fries with his steak but it was sent out with the roasted potatoes. The waitress noticed this and said she would bring an order of fries. It didn't arrive until we were nearly done. I also asked for the kale caesar but received the mixed greens. I decided not to bother waiting for a replacement. The waitress was friendly and cheerful but seemed to have too many tables to serve. High noise level but we would go back for the food and hope for more attentive service.
One of our favorites. Good food at reasonable prices. Comfortable setting.
Great dinner with friends, top notch service, and friendly staff.
They make a fantastic short rib quesadilla!
I order it every time I go there. Sadly, they took it off their Summer’18 menu. I struggled to find something else on the menu and settled on a burger that was mediocre at best. Bring back the short rib quesadillas and I’ll continue to be a loyal patron.
This is a great place! Food was very good. We had the brussel sprout appetizer and us adults had the salmon which was cooked perfectly. They have a kids menu which the kids liked. Good desserts and handcrafted cocktails as well. We were able to make a last minute reservation on OpenTable. You need to make a reservation because every seat was filled. This restaurant is a local gem.
We were asked by our friends to be their son's godparents!
The food is fine - the space is nice. It's easy and there is great parking and a good wine selection. BTW, the bartender makes a MEAN Irish Coffee!
We each had the bbq shrimp dish which was so delicious!
Usually,MontroseGrill is above average. This time, the menus was uninspiring. Service, as always, was good.
We love dining at Town in Montrose!! The food is always delicious!!
