Pan seared fresh Faroe Island Salmon fillet topped with shrimp & cherry tomatoes in a scampi sauce, served with roasted roots and fresh vegetables of the day.
Calamari and Pepperoncino Fritti *MGF with rice flour
Crispy tender floured wild caught calamari and pepperoncino peppers served with pomodoro fresco sauce

My family and I are regular diners at Monticello it is one of our favorites and we support local businesses in our area. While the food was delicious I gave to say we were very uncomfortable being there First time in my restaurant life did I ever detect animosity from a restaurant staff towards us and we were not alone A couple across from me had similar issues and were vocal about it It boils down to this. The waiter we had essentially took our order and disappeared after bringing out two entrees of three and bringing us the check which he asked if i signed while I was drinking my expresso. He left our service in the hands of three service staff who were seriously not happy at all. They took out their frustration on us and this other couple. For us they disrupted our meal by reaching in to clear the table while we were eating. They were rude and at one point reached in to take my girlfriends appetizer of clams before she was finished it was horrible and when we objected she took the Pellegrino water off the table the service was completely sub par and frankly unexpected as we are known customers there. One of the three the male one kept giving us a “hard look” It was very lucky for him I’m an attorney who respects the law but if I wasn’t we’d have had a whole other scene go down. I’m not going to take crap like that from anyone but over the years I realized if you treat me like S&@! then F you. I control where I spend my money but I assure you all that having a law license stopped me from escalating a situation which I could have done so with absolute justification. Not going back to a place where one pays too dollar for food and you can’t enjoy yourself because the support staff is out of control. Farewell Monticello and I do wish the owner well She is an amazing chef and a wonderful woman to whom we’ve shown our loyalty and respect for so many years. I understand that this could one bad night but it was so extreme we can’t ever return. Sorry

My husband and I had dinner here with friends on a Friday night. We were greeted immediately with a smile and a nice conversation with the owner. The atmosphere was a lovely ambiance and the service was great! We started with clams for an appetizer. They were fantastic and the broth was amazing- you'll need more bread for dipping! I had salmon over risotto with shrimp. It was delicious and cooked perfectly! We will definitely be making another reservation!

All the food is fresh made and mostly organic . You can taste the difference in how fresh it is .
Tracy our server was amazing . So friendly really knew the menu made great recommendations. Was very attentive I don’t think we waited more then a minute for something when we asked

The restaurant was very noisy so my dinner date had to sit next to me to hear me. The food was good but the value for my special dish was not as it was twice the price of the normal entrées and the waiter didn’t mention that when she offered it
Great service, great food, but be wary of the prices of the specials. My Sole Oreganata entree (special) was $46 while my wife's Island Salmon & Shrimp entree was $31. Go figure. Food was good but not enough to bring us back. There are better, more moderately priced Italian BYOB restaurants in the area!
Had another fabulous Saturday night meal outside, served by Amanda. She makes us feel like a part of the family at Monticello. We started with the meat plate, then went with the special pork chop and gnocchi for entrees. We always wish we have room for dessert as we have yet to try them! Big thanks to Amanda and team for a wonderful evening.
The waiter was not confident when telling the specials. We ordered salads and they took a long time to come out. Then there was an even longer wait for the main course. One of the guests ordered gluten free pasta with shrimp. Both pasta and shrimp were overcooked. Waiter did not check to see how food was and only came back at the end of the meal

Like most restos now, not enough staff are available to meet service needs. No one’s fault ‘ the waiter is Alex a partner and an outstanding guy his sister runs the floor newbies back them up hence the slows
Outdoors at Monticello is outstanding as the spot is south of the closed block of broad, thus much quieter

I wanted white sauce from the seafood rather than the menu’s red sauce seafood They made it for me. I adore the eggplant rollatini risotto seafood is very good Byob

e\Everything was very good, but didn't appreciate the 2 hour time limit. We usually finish before that anyway but didn't like being told. I understand all the reasons but felt pressured to hurry.

Had a great meal! Price fix on Tues and Wed. Best chicken dish! Service was exceptional. Problem with air conditioning, so a little uncomfortable. Also two new busses on their first day, so a few slip-ups. Highly recommend!
Nice spot found on a Saturday night, tables available although we made reservation. Freindly staff service was slow since it took a while for the main course to come out. The food was very good. Delicious lobster bisque with crab meat. The fish special of the day seabass on a light tomato base with shrimp and clams was delicious.
The tiramisu for 2 a must have.

Unfortunately not as expected. Service was mediocre and food, although edible was less then anticipated. Cheese board had four items with one slice of toasted bread. When asked it was a simple you need to use the table bread “but I’ll see what I can do”. Participated in the “dine in Red Bank” and tried to use a gift card. It turned into a heated discussion because they would not accommodate the gift card at first but after getting assertive it was used. Not even sure it it was correctly adjusted. The experience was not worth it.

Excellent, fresh food- professional and attentive service - romantic and relaxing atmosphere- tight seating like in Hoboken or Manhattan but that’s part of the charm - we love it there
Amanda, our server, who was also acting as “hostess” on this busy holiday weekend / Sunday eve did an amazing job of ensuring we were taken care of, getting our food out while it was hot, describing the specials and providing recommendations! She spoke to us like we were “old friends” , smiling, upbeat, and certainly made us feel welcomed. The food was delicious and if you love risotto, you’ll definitely want to check out all of their risotto options! We’ll definitely be back!
