    the food was absolutely amazing. everyone ordered different things and they were all delicious. the owner was so pleasant and had time to stand and talk with us for a while. the menu was so gluten friendly which is so important and on top of that was excellent. we will certainly be returning and will make this part of our favorites in the future.

    The service was very good, and the food was good too! My only complaint was portions were too much! I would go back again and I’d recommend Monticello also!

    First time at Monticello and thoroughly enjoyed the food, but the service was a little disappointing and it started to get very noisy as the night went on. Our server was nice, but he never offered to open our wine until he was asked (it’s a BYO) and then he part opened the bottle somewhere in the back and brought it to the table with the cork half pulled. We really enjoyed the food and started with the poached pair for an appy, and had the grilled shrimp and risotto, and the stuffed chicken as mains. We would have had desert, but our server was slow and we had to be at a show at the Basie. We left around 7pm on a Saturday night and the restaurant was very full and very noisy by then. Great value and great food, so we will return.
