   Food was terrible for all, but worse for me. I asked for meal to be prepared gluten free. When it arrived I saw the flour on it and the chef promised me it wasn’t. Fast forward to me awake all night with ripping pain in my abdomen. It has not subsided this morning. I am more angry at myself for not trusting myself.

   We had Tony as our server. He made the night so memorable. The food was so authentic and delicious. We had truffle pasta, braised short ribs, and ravioli. I highly recommend this family-owned style restaurant.

   Fun waiter and attentive service. Nice truffle pasta -- a special. Good wine recommendations. A tad crowded and the ambiance could be a little cozier -- I think it's the lighting. But overall, this was a good experience at a classic Greenwich Village restaurant.

   We loved our dining experience at Monte’s!!! The place was lively and cozy. The food was delicious. Our waiter, Tony, was so perfect and fun and good. The other people dining there were fun and nice. The girl who seated us was also exceptionally wonderful. We had a great experience. We will be back!!!
