    We haven’t visited Monterey Bay for many years due to a disappointing meal, however, we’ve heard so many wonderful reviews that we decided to celebrate a birthday there. Disappointed again!! Out of 5 of us only one person enjoyed his dinner. For the prices charged at this restaurant we were so disappointed in the quality of the food. I order branzino every opportunity I get but this branzino was the worst at any restaurant I’ve ever visited. I wondered if it was even branzino. My sons ordered tuna and were unhappy with the quality. Not as important, the bread was terrible. Only the ambiance and service were good. We won’t be back. I encourage anyone who wants to spend an enormous amount of money on a meal to go elsewhere.

    Love dining here. Great views. Can never go wrong with the crab cakes….my favorite. Service always good. Never rushed. Our ‘go to spot’ for special occasions & seafood. Go at dusk & see the city & bridges light up… very pretty. You won’t be disappointed ☺️

    We really enjoyed our experience even though we showed up 45 minutes early. They seated us. We had an excellent waiter. The general manager John John Joe was very friendly. The scallops were the best I’ve ever had. My wife swore that the crabcake was the best that she had ever had. The drinks were fine. The only only complaint was my wife had that the coffee was old and stale. When we go back for a special occasion, absolutely we would. But bring your best credit card cause it’s gonna be a little bit on the price aside The view itself is tremendous enjoy.
