   A wonderful evening for my birthday with my parents, personalized attention from both the person who served us and everyone... a fabulous meal with oysters, mussels... an incredible view of Pittsburgh... it's our third time and our favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh... quality and excellence.

   We learned about The Monterey Fish Grotto from the Washington DC PBS show "Get out of town" and decided we had to try it. We were not disappointed at all. We were surprised by the size of the portions. Quite big considering the fancy factor of the location. The view of Pittsburgh has to be the best in town. Do not pass up the Toasted Cheese sandwich for dessert. Much more elegant than the name. It is to die for! Excellent overall all experience. We had a very loud table nearby but thankfully they left before we were served our main course.

   Always a faubulius meal at Monterey Bay Fish Grotto. There are two levels and note that the upstairs is brighter with the two plus story windows. The downstairs is darker with the one floor windows. Service is terrific. We enjoyed Renaud, our server.
