Montauk Seafood Grill
Since 1987, Montauk Seafood Grill has been bringing high quality seafood and meats to Vail- flown in fresh, never frozen, from all corners of the globe.
Located in the heart of Lionshead Village, we combine a fine dining experience with a casual and fun atmosphere.
We hope to see you soon!
The Halibut was out of this world. The salads that accompany the fish are great tasting ( there was mint and basil with mine).
mediocre mussels. lacked wine flavor. main course was a lobster dish which was not too flavorful. we were 2 people and got seated at a small table while other parties of 2 were put at bigger tables. there were certainly more tables available. would not go again and we are here 6 months.
Everything was delicious. I had the crab legs and the rest of the family had steaks and it was all wonderful.
Had not been there in years! What a treat!! Will be back soon! Waiter was hilarious!!
This was our third experience at Montauk. We have enjoyed each time and look forward to our next dining experience each time we leave. Well done! We will continue to recommend and we will be back.
Fabulous wasabi salmon. Joe Kamby was the best waiter ever!
Beautifully presented , delicious, attentive service, lovely wine, interesting flavor combinations, a bit expensive
Jeff the maitre'd, was rude and unhelpful when we arrived with our wheelchair even though he had confirmed handicap acessibility in person and on the phone.
Because of the snow the entrance was blocked. He told us to carry the wheelchair over the step!! When we explained this device could not be lifted he shrugged.
There was another entrance near a table where guests had already been seated. He refused to ask them to momentarily move to accommodate a handicapped patron.
I told him I knew the owner, he rolled his eyes. We also informed him that our party included locals, he could have cared less.
His behavior was unconscionable, despicable and illegal. He should be fired!
The food was outstanding the service friendly and knowledgeable and our group had a great dvening
Excellent food, excellent service. Never miss dining here when in Vail.
I would recommend for the halibut but not the new york strip.
Fresh seafood. Great side dishes.
We really enjoyed the service overall and overall ambience. I would recommend for any occasion.
Excellent meal but adding a 20% gratuity for a party of five is not standard in high end dining establishments, being usually reserved for groups of 6-8 or more.
Good food fish and oysters. Drinks were good and so was the wine.
The red snapper special was perfection!!!
Fabulous selection of seafood hard to choose from the menu. I had the tuna nicoise which was unbelievable - not your typical tuna nicoise, spicy with a tarragon vinaigrette.
My husband and son had the Miso glazed scallops which were done to perfection with a side order of popcorn shrimp.
We had to wait a very long time for our food but otherwise it was a good experience
Great food, outstanding waiter and lovely ambiance. Thank you for a so derful evening.
Best meal on our vacation! Superbly prepared seafood. Perfect portions and presentation! Outstanding service!
Great food. Awesome
Menu. Fresh delicious dishes.
The oysters were extremely good, the rest of the food was just ok.
We had a lovely three generation, b-day dinner for my husband at Montauk. The service was friendly, knowledgeable and not rushed. We started with a delicious beet salad then I had the tuna which was perfectly seared. Another had the prime rib which was also grilled to his liking. The wine selection was varied and offered many options and the bartender made a special non-alcoholic drink from my pregnant daughter-in-law. All in all, a very enjoyable way to end a day of skiing!
Very good Vail resarant the lions head end of the valley
Best food in Vail! Fresh seafood with delightful sauces and creative sides. The wait staff is super kind and professional. The main room can be too loud when it is packed. Great experience overall.
Great food! I had a rib eye, all I cam say is WAOW! Superb, also the Oysters and a lobster pasta, superb!
Were out of their days special
Didn’t finish entree, when we noticed large fatty fingerprints all over the dish plate.
We paid and went for a pizza
The place is great. But noisy
Still great fish preparations and large portions on the entrees. A good value for an upscale dinner in vail.
Great experience post ski. Great seafood.
Noisy but overall a great experience . Excellent food and service
Great food and friendly staff!
Muy rica la comida, excelente servicio y de ambiente! Vale la pena en lugar.
Tuna Tartare was exquisite. Best seafood I’ve had in the mountains.
Very good food and service was excellent. Wine by the glass was pretty poor to average options.
Expensive wine by the bottle.
Food was cold and over salted. Considering that the place was not very busy makes this even more onerous. Definitely a decline in the quality since our last visit 3 years ago.
We had not been here in years and everything about the evening was great. Oysters were amazing as were the mussels. We will be back on our next trip to Vail!
The main entrees were all phenomenal. Skip the sides- they leave much to be desired.
Food was awesome and wait staff was friendly and efficient.
Lugar y comida estupenda
El servicio magnífico
La comida muy mal, antes servían todo de maravilla ahora es un pésimo lugar, caro y con servicio promedio.
