First time to this restaurant and had a wonderful dining experience. The service was wonderful and the food was outstanding. Great way to spend our anniversary
Perfect restaurant to celebrate our anniversary and at the same time enjoy amazing seafood!
Excellent food as always, and the service was stellar. My only disappointment were the chairs for the outdoor seating. We can do better than that when spending almost $200 for dinner for three. Overall we still love this place and are so happy to see it open again!
Amazing & Delicious as usual!!
We always save dining at Montauck for our last night because of how special the experience is year after year. Look forward to coming back again next year!
Excellent seafood with attentive staff and good presentation.
I ordered the Sirloin Steak cooked medium well. The kitchen cooked it to well. The flavor of the steak, broccoli & mashed potatoes was excellent. My wife ordered the white prawns with the sticky rice & broccoli. We both enjoyed our meal very much. I would definitely eat at this restaurant again.
We have great service! The fish was fresh and tasty!
One of my go to restaurants while skiing in Vail.
Best food in vail and I’ve been everywhere - not kidding. I’ve lived here for 5 years. It’s underrated! Highly recommend going.
We are visiting from Florida, and having fresh fish was extremely important to us. The sea bass was over the top!
My husband loved the scallop lobster carbonara!
Good seafood and fish, especially for a place that is landlocked. Like most of Vail, way too expensive for what it is.
Come here every time I’m in Vail!
If you are in Vail/Lionshead it's a must
Always a great pleasure to visit with friends. Food and service are terrific!
Great menu, great choices, great service!
Scallop and lobster carbonara, red snapper, and filet all were prepared perfectly. Spinach was very good, but a little over-dressed.
Recommended and will go again.
Very good. Highly recommend.
It was very hot inside the restaurant, service was slow, and food was average.
Always a sure bet for good fresh seafood! Have been a handful of times the last few years and the food is always very good and servers attentive and professional!
Always very good food and a reliable waitstaff . Went there twice in the week I was there because it was close to the condo and we knew what we had. Lots of choices but this restaurant was always one of our favorites
Enjoyable meal. Wine prices were excessive compared to comparable restaurants.
Both the food and service where excellent. We are seafood and steak and all was delicious. It’s a little pricey but it’s also Vail so it’s expected. A definite must visit when in Vail.
Service was spot on just like the food. We ordered the scallops and lobster carbonaro, it was fantastic.
Consistently well prepared food and professional and friendly staff.
One of our favorite places in Vail.
We have had Andy several times and he is excellent.
Food, atmosphere were great and Alex was an excellent server. Will definitely return.
Service lent , on reçoit le vin lorsqu’on a bien entamé le plat principal ... ils sont débordés, le resto était archivé plein.
Prenez les fruits de mer ou poisson grillés si Vs n’aimez pas la sauce partout .
This is one of my favorite places to eat on Vail. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a great place to eat.
Great place.. ambiance and food. A bit pricy but worth it
Always a favorite and never disappointed....their signature daily fresh fish is the best and great beef steaks too!
Super seafood, outstanding service, no better dinner in Vail.
Incredible food, atmosphere, service
The group had mixed views on the food. Some liked it, some found it a bit plain. I thought they have missed the opportunity on the interior decor to carry on the Montauk theme that appeared outside so the inside had no character. Service was fine but our two vegetarians found options were very limited. On value it’s tricky to comment because it’s Vail where everything is ridiculously expensive (in their defence they have to finance their business on a highly seasonal basis) but $53 for a Seabass entre just seems really hard to reconcile.
We did not order drinks for our family dinner and this seemed to set the mood for our waitress. I asked if the salads were large and she said they were very small, discouraging a split. We ordered apps and a salad and told her we wanted to split the pasta. Again, she said the portion was "very small and only would be 3 oz protein per plate" the salad came and was more than enough for us to have split and the pasta was too. Everyone at the table felt the "up-sell" pressure, especially since we were not drinking alcohol. Funny too that the table behind asked for a salad split after ordering a round of drinks and nothing was said.... Another person ordered three prawns and 6 oz lobster add on and it was @70, good but not outstanding
Food was good but per item prices are much higher than other Vail restaurants. We eat out very often and always order expensive items, but were a little disappointed. Too many other amazing places, probably will not return next time.
The service was excellent. The ambiance was delightful. The food was delicious. Our party had the seabass, the filet, and the seafood carbonara...all amazing. It's not cheap but well worth the splurge!
La comida deliciosa, el lugar tiene buena ubicación. La atención del personal cálida pero un poco tardado.
My sea bass was “grilled to perfection “ just as you said. Loved the broccoli and salad with basil salad dressing that I had as my sides. We we’re running late due to a traffic alert in vail/ two accidents on the highway and everyone was great with our delay even though we were late . The oysters were flavorful but on the small side. The Jonah crab claws were ok...still seemed somewhat frozen.
Great atmosphere and great food. We had a party of 6 and from the red snapper to the steak everyone at our table loved what they had. Had 8:00 reservations and showed up 20 minutes early and they seated us within 5 minutes. Great experience all the way around.
Delicious. Worth it
Second year in a row, we got the best service staff in Vail. Good food, good value, great wait staff
