Monarch is a complex of dining, entertainment, and recreation, spaces aimed to provide clientele with a fun, dynamic place to fulfill all your social gathering needs. Unlike any other venue in the city, Monarch provides daytime recreation with its pool and patio bar. After the sun sets, entertainment and dining carries over to an inside restaurant/lounge area and outdoor garden area with culinary food, craft cocktails, and vip table reservations. The indoor space and garden are also open daily (and on weekends) for our raved about brunch and dinner menu. Our goal at Monarch is to create a resort-like experience for our clientele within the city. We came to Monarch for the amazing bottomless mimosa brunch on a quiet Saturday morning. The décor is very unique with a great view of the outdoor bar. The service was outstanding all the servers and bartender were very knowledgeable, helpful, and provided excellent customer service. We had a great time and will definitely be back for brunch again!

Told me my open table reservation was not real, and the server rarely came over. Once to take our order and once to give the bill. Also never brought a box after asking.

I ate here once before when it was Kings Oak. They should have never changed management. The menu stilled looked promising which was why I still made the reservation for a large group for my birthday dinner. The food was disgusting. Service was slow and unprofessional. Food was undercooked and/or still frozen. Sent most of the food back except for the appetizers that were brought out at the same time as the rest of the meal. I will never go here again and I wouldn't be surprised if it goes out of business before next year.

I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. The ambiance is second to none. However, the food was not cooked to order. Steaks were overdone, crabcakes were soggy, and ultimately, our entire party got sick after leaving the restaurant. I can't help but to think it was because of something we ate. This place may be best for cocktails as opposed to dinner!

The restaurant did not appear to be ready for service when we arrived. There were no other customers and the staff appeared to be preoccupied. Someone took our drink order and then a different person came to tell us they would make our drinks. Long story short our drinks never came and we weren't even asked if we wanted food. We decided to leave.

I actually love this place, the only complaint I have was our server was training and he was new and I think a party of 19 was too much to handle.

the food was terrible. The Thai peanut chicken skewers didn't have the peanut sauce because they were out. They were dry and flavorless. The hamburger beef was spoiled. Everything about the food was awful. despite our party being the only table in the restaurant at 7pm on a Saturday night, the service was slow and the waitress didn't seem to know anything about the food, drink or area.
