Great brunch, lots of choices very tasty food. Will return. Easy parking.
We went for my dads birthday and everything was great the mussels were delicious and the steak was perfect. And the deserts were absolutely amazing I loved the chocolate mousse.
Always excellent food and excellent service for a great dinner
Family dinner on the way to the airport. Truly a nice Parisian bistro experience. The house wines were actually Louis Latour in origin. Service was good. Caesar salad was as good as you will find anywhere. Steak Roquefort was fantastic, sea bass was awesome. Great kids menu!
We made the mistake of going for a special occasion. Despite telling the server that we wanted a slow, relaxed pace, she was still very anxious to move quickly so she could clear the table and turn it over. I felt rushed.
Great service and delicious lunch. Relaxed atmosphere and welcoming
My fiancé and I had an amazing dinner here. We shared the steak frites and the almond trout and both were fantastic. Would highly recommend as a fun date spot as the atmosphere is cozy and romantic.
We had asked for a table away from the crowd and were given a perfect table. The service was impeccable as always and the food was delicious. The staff anticipaed our every need and this is one of the reasons we frequent here often.
Usually this restaurant is very good however this time we had a terrible dinner, the peppercorn (Au louvre) steak & frites were terrible, tasted old & reheated, they were cold & not well cooked. My boyfriend & I got really sick for a couple of days. Very disappointed.
Started with a delicious Celery Root and apple soup and enjoyed streaks die the entrees. Very tasty and enjoyable.
Always delicious food and great service. The best restaurant in Reston.
Great place to catch up with a friend.
We enjoy having lunch here when we have business in Reston . We often have the fish special and have enjoyed it but this time the fish was mealy. We were very disappointed.
The food was good, but it was a very noisy place. Not sure that I would go back.
I’ve tried several times to like Mon Ami but I keep getting disappointed. Their steaks are always dry so I ordered the fish and chips this time and it was disgusting. I don’t know if it was because of the thick breading or the fish it’s self but it was so difficult to cut through - it was so strange. My plate was picked up virtually untouched and the waiter didn’t bother to ask why. Won’t be going back.
I have never paid 20.00 for a flute of house champagne
I would have got a bottle Instead of paying so much
I took my friend there for her birthday lunch. This is the second year we've gone there for her birthday because we had a great meal last year. This year they put us at the same table, which was comfortable and felt private. The server was very friendly and informative and the food was delicious. We both had the chicken-mushroom crepe and would definitely have them again.
A cut above in food and service.
Had a great evening where we felt we were not rushed, everything was explained very well, and the courses were all served timely.
Great food , great service
Love the steak frites and Bordeaux Superior wine. The service was a bit lacking on our last visit.
Fantastic service and great food
we enjoy mon ami gabi and go there on special occasions
I really love Mon Ami. We've been to the one in Bethesda Row during Restaurant Week, and my company orders our birthday lunches from here.
We had an excellent time at Pajama Brunch on New Year's Day 2019, too!
Pretty good New Year’s experience! Free hats and champagne!
Have been to Mon Ami Gabi a few times. Decided to try it for New Year's Eve. Had high hopes, given that it's an expensive restaurant. The worst experience ever. The food was awful. The service was mediocre at best. If that's the kind of experience they offer on New Year, then they should be closed, and let their staff enjoy time with their families. Will not be returning.
New Years Eve. We were seated by hostess. Waiter moved us over one to a much nicer table. Food was excellent. Wine was excellent. Waiter was so good to us. Could not have been any better. Thank you.
Went here for NYE and was really disappointed! Food and service were not up to the regular standard. Our oysters had huge pieces of shell in them, our entrees were cold when they arrived, and our waiter was nowhere to be found for most of the evening. Would not recommend for a big night like NYE.
New Years eve
This place sat us in a sparcely decorated overflow room despite our reservations for New Year's Eve. Service was slow and unresponsive. My steak, which I ordered medium rare, came out well done. It was overcooked and salty. My partner's fillet mignon, was tough and dry. The fries, typically very good, tasted chewey and stale, like they'd been sitting under a heat lamp for 20 minutes. The French Onion soup was full of inedible onion husks. The roasted root vegetable salad, was not roasted. It was drowned in vinegar and peppered with ice chips. The only good part of the meal was the wine, which I should have had more of. It would have helped me forget what an awful dinner I was having. I used to be able to trust this place with a steak, a soup and a salad. Stay away. Save your money. Spend it on groceries. Cook yourself something better.
Mon ami Gabi is alway a good meal. We felt a little rushed but it was New Years Eve.
Have eaten here many times always have a nice experience
The food was amazing and the service was just as good, very attentive staff. Can’t wait to return.
Excellent service on a busy night! Food was delivered promptly and was delicious
Unprofessional service, mediocre food. Overall a much less enjoyable experiece than on previous New Years Eves.
Had a New Years Eve lunch with the family. Great service and food.
The food was good but unjustifiably expensive. It was nothing special. The area is expensive in general but it isn't DC so I don't expect to pay DC prices. My cocktail at brunch cost $14. My friends side of brussels sprouts cost $7. I have eaten at most of the surrounding restaurants and none have seemed this overprice for the quality. Our waitress was nice enough but slightly awkward. The hostess just looked at me when I said I was meeting a group of people, I thought she was thinking but after a long silence I said I would walk around and look and she just looked at me, never said a word, it was very strange.
Overall, it was a good experience. However, towards the end of the meal we felt very rushed. They removed all of my flatware before I was done eating.
We had a wonderful experience! The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. We had a party of 7 and had a wonderful time. Thanks to everyone involved, especially our fabulous waiter!
