Our waiter was so great and kind the only reason it is not 5 stars is because of how rude the lady that was seating us was. Food was cantastic
Everything was amazing!!! Will always try and eat here when in Vegas.
We went for lunch and sat on the patio outside. Excellent food and great atmosphere!!! Would recommend to anyone visiting Vegas!
They did not pay attention to our request to be by a window and tried to place us in the back room(very dark & crowded). After we were re-seated, to the middle room. We placed our order, then proceeded to wait over 45 minutes for our food. The server apologized after it taking 30 minutes but still had to wait another 15 minutes. No manager ever came over to apologize nor did the server offer to do anything with our bill. Worst experience, never going back.
Greta place and service
Amazing food. Amazing service. SANDRA is a star. Sit in her section if you can.
Mon Ami Gabi was an amazing restaurant was well lit for dinner. Atmosphere was perfect for a Valentine’s Day dinner, food was unbelievably good, service was amazing. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends.
The seating was ridiculously cramped. We asked to be moved from the first table due to the fact that I would have been rubbing elbows with the people next to me the entire meal. I’m not even a big guy, 5’10”, 200lbs, athletic build. The second table was in a corner which gave us a little more room on one side, but I still could rest one arm on the window and the other was only a foot away from the women at the next table, I could have eaten off her plate. It was so cramped in there that my wife snagged her dress on a chair as she shimmer between guests to get to our table.
The food varied from excellent to inedible and everything in between. I ordered a $7 side of garlic spinach that was disgusting and left me with garlic breath for a day and a half, even though I only took two bites. My steak was no better than one from TGI Friday’s, but the fish and sides that my wife ordered were amazing.
The staff were very friendly, but the service was slow, the table was wobbly, my fork was bent, they forgot to give me a knife with my steak and the table was so small that our plates touched.
I won’t go back.
Really enjoyed this restaurant for the food. Only downside was where we were sat. It was in a dark corner so close to the next table that I hardly could get up without bumping their table and felt like we were in each others conversations
Great as always. For Valentine's Day, it was less busy than we thought it was going to be. With our reservation, we didn't have to wait, the service was prompt and the food was top notch....as always. Our Steak Poivre and Roquefort Steak and Frites were perfectly done, and very tender. The escargot was delicious, and the bread was warm with a crispy crust. They are still offering a cold shredded appetizer, which is always a tasty way to start the dinner. Our favorite restaurant in town. Wish we could try their Chicago location, and one day we will.
Excellent service, delicious food, and a perfect ambiance for a romantic date night!
Traditional French menu written in English. Main feature is steak frites with several sauces. Small tables and loud inside but great food. Warm baguettes and nice house wines. Plan on $45 per person.
It is my favorite restaurant. Great service and food.
Excellent meal and service. I had skate wing, which you can't get many places. My wife had steak which is always good here. A Caesar salad was delicious, and an orange cheesecake made a delicious dessert.
The service was great. Lots of staff ready to assist and clean up after people. The food was not so good. My husband and I had steaks. They were very dry and flavorless. I was not impressed with the food at all.
Valentines Day dinner. The place was packed but they gave us a window table with an uninstructed view of the Bellagio fountains! The service was FANTASTIC, with every table filled I wondered if the service would be able to keep up with the demand - THEY DID! We had vino by the glass, the seafood platter, a NY strip and chocolate mousse - ALL DELISH! Can’t say enough about this place especially on a day when they had a packed house! OUTSTANDING!!!!
I have been to Mon Ami Gabi previously and had a great experience so I'm sure the fact that it was Valentine's Day - and very crowded - added to the disappointing factors in this visit. I asked for a window view and we were seated at a very small table that was one table away from the window. The tables were extremely close together and I would have rather had a quieter, more intimate dinner. The whole restaurant was packed, so that may not have happened anywhere in there.
Our server, Sheila, took our drink order but was obviously distracted. She soon took our dinner order and we ordered the crock of French Onion soup to share. We were given a very tasty, crispy baguette in a paper bag and presented with a plate of a shredded carrot mixture. I was pretty sure it was a palate cleanser but it would have been nice to have been told that when it was put down.
After about 10 minutes we were enjoying our soup and bread and our food arrived. Because there was no more room on our small table and our soup was only half gone, I asked that my food be held until I finished the soup. I half jokingly asked Sheila if we were on a 30 minute limit for the table and she blamed the kitchen for sending the food out too quickly. She never apologized and seemed very put out to have to take my plate back. I would think she would know what stage her tables were at in their meal and not let that happen. She didn't have too many tables as there was a large number of servers visible.
In an upscale restaurant such as this, I would have expected a higher level of service - even on a VERY busy night. It wasn't their first holiday so they should have been better prepared. I had the classic steak and parts were chewy but parts were tender and flavorful. The Bearnaise sauce was very good and the signature fries are a stand out. We opted to skip coffee/dessert and have that somewhere where we would be more appreciated.
The food was good, not great and the ambiance was more like a cafeteria.
Romantic atmosphere for all occasions!! Menu prices are outstanding!!
We Always hit this Lettuce Entertain U favorite for breakfast, lunch or dinner when in Las Vegas. This time for breakfast which Is always good. My only complaint would be the English Muffins in my Eggs Benedict were hard as a rock and it wasn’t just mine. The poor man next to our table was struggling trying to cut them also. When I was almost done our server finally asked if I’d like a steak knife. Should serve these with a steak knife. The Mimosa’s were very good though 😉
Valentines Day was very special to start out here
Great food. Good service. Great location on the strip.
We had dined here a few years ago and loved it. Decided to take our kids this time as we passed through Vegas on a family vacation. So glad we did. We had steak and frites and they were just as delicious as we remembered. Tender and cooked to perfection. The creme brûlée is also a must!
Had a delightful dinner of scallops, great service. Also enjoyed breakfast there one day, and it was fabulous.
Always a great experience. Only complaint this time is, that even though we made the reservation considerable time ago and would have appreciated a table closer to a window, we ended up stuck in a darker area in the middle whilst other walk ins got the better tables. Seems to me that when a reservation is made by folks who regularity support a restaurant that the least the restaurant could do is save a prime table.
It was absolutely wonderful! Georgie was our waitress and she was so kind and attentive. She really made our experience that much better...and the FOOD! It was my partner’s first time trying escargot and he loved it. His Beef Bourgeon was seriously lip smacking. My ribeye was perfectly prepared too....and the special surprise at the end with the ice cream and chocolate profiteroles were so sweet.
Thank you all for making our evening so perfect.
One word, excellent. Had a wonderful dining experience.. great food and service.
Michele em was our server and she is great! Food was cooked perfectly as requested and was incredible! Always on our dinner reservations when visiting Las Vegas.
This place is going down hill
Poorly run, chaotic upfront makes us wonder why management is letting this once great restaurant become a ruby Tuesday with a view.
I’ve eaten there over a dozen times and am done
We walked over to Spago instead and had an awesome meal and view and services.
Put a fork in Ami!
I have eaten at your restaurant many times as well as recommended to friends and business associates. Always a positive response from everyone. However on my recent visit to your establishment we were seated outside on the patio per our request. The unfortunate smell of propane was nauseating. I realize this maybe a catch 22 as it was cold on the patio but warm under the heaters!! The dinner and evening were a success except for the over powering smell of propane. I will be back as well as one of my guests is making a reservation for an up and coming business dinner engagement as she was very happy with the service, food and dollar value.
Always an amazing time! Food is always absolutely delicious and service is incredible!
Excellent food and great service. The goat cheese appetizer is a must try.
What a great restaurant for well prepared food and reasonably priced, super environment
Still my favorite lunch spot in all of Vegas.
Can’t be beat!
I had made the reservation adding that a member of the party was lactose intolerant. Apparently, our waiter was not updated with that information. Upon being seated, he began announcing the daily specials. No suggestion was made as to what was suitable for the dietary need of a member of the party. Once we got by that, we ordered. Food and wine. Selections of both were many. Our choices, steak frite and beef bourguignon was well prepared, tasty and of correct temperature. However, overall there was no “wow” associated with the evening.
Great environment and the atmosphere is amazing, and so are the patio views overlooking the Bellagio fountains. Also, gluten free friendly including breads, French onion soup and sauces for steaks.
We were enthusiastically greeted upon arrival. Our server was outstanding--friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, & attentive!
Excellent food! We went for our Anniversary dinner and weren’t disappointed. The trout almandine and the mussels were melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The service was also excellent. We will return next time we’re in town!
Unfortunately it snowed and we couldn't eat on the patio. Love to watch the Bellagio fountain. Food is always good and service is excellent.
I come here at least once a year, if not twice. Each visit is/was exceptional. This last visit, I made reservations to celebrate my sister's birthday and my pre-retirement. I've known all along that the reservations made were for indoor dining, but the host staff was so accommodating when I asked if we could have patio seating. Previous times, the same. And the food...it is always beautiful to look at (picture worthy), smells so wonderful and of course, simply delicious. The wait staff is always just a look away if I ever need anything. I so recommend Mon Ami Gabi to anyone visiting Las Vegas and looking for a dining "adventure" to relish.
Great environment. Good meal
