Honoring classic French cuisine, Mon Ami Gabi is a traditional French bistro located in the heart of Lincoln Park. Our menu features simple French food including Steak Frites, fresh seafood, exquisite bites, and French rolling wine carts. Valet is located at the corner of Lincoln Park West and Belden for $20 cash or Zelle. During the holiday season, for all parties of 9 or more, we ask our guests to call the restaurant directly to book a reservation.

We were told a dessert would be on the house because we had to wait for our table even though we had a reservation. They charged us for the dessert. I told them and they refunded us for BOTH desserts we ordered to apologize. Thank you! I will say the bathroom had Jo toilet paper in the stalls and I had to run out and ask a manager to have someone put toilet paper in the bathroom before I could use the restroom. Super awkward and a little embarrassing.

                                                                                        Lovely celebration dinner at Mon Ami Gabi. We enjoyed the room, the vibe and excellent service. Our meal was delicious. We hadn’t been in the building since the old Ambria days. A very welcome return. One slight quibble - the scallops st. Jacques is a nice dish. But really, with good scallops, you really just need a simple sear.

                                                                                        The onion soup and trout almondine were outstanding! The chocolate mousse was some of the best I’ve had. Overall a not to missed experience!
