   Food was superb as was our waiter throughout the service. Would recommend anyone going to not drive to the restaurant as parking in the area is minimal (particularly on a sunny Sunday afternoon)

   We had a lovely brunch on 4/27. Wonderful atmosphere and service and the did was excellent. We had truffled scrambled eggs and smoked salmon Benedict, delicious!

   Festive vibe. Good appetizers and cocktails. Everyone enjoyed the hanger steak and frites, trout and duck. Good wine.

    I chose Mon Ami Gabi for sentimental reasons to celebrate my partner's birthday; it holds special memories. He flew in from our FL home just so that we could celebrate this occasion together. Our reservation was at 6:15 PM. We preferred a table other than the one we were to be seated at so that we could be in a more centered area of the dining room as I had noted that we were celebrating a birthday, and the hostess was kind enough to accommodate our request. Our server (my apology for not remembering the young man's name) deserves beyond 5+ as very honestly the most attentive and charming professional in this industry that we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He was the highlight of our evening at Mon Ami Gabi. The only reason I offered a star less than absolute perfection is that one of the evenings specials was the Beef Wellington. The gentleman sitting next to us was enjoying it and urged my partner to order it as well, since it is not often found on menus unlike the always available steak frites. He did, but within minutes our server disappointed him with the news that the kitchen was already out of that night's special. By 7PM? The hanger steak with peppercorn sauce he then substituted and my roasted salmon over lentils were delicious. The salad of endive, apples and roquefort was exceptional. And the ice cream filled profiterole offered with compliments and a candle to make a birthday wish, was a lovely final touch to our evening. It's always nice to see a mix of guests of all ages for the dinner service, enjoying good conversation and laughter in the warm and inviting atmosphere.
