   Food was fantastic and the service was spot on! My server accidentally mixed up my food order but got the correct order to me in no time and even gave the table a free dessert for the mix up. Definitely will come back soon!

   We were continuing our anniversary celebration from the previous day. The service was excellent. The onion soup and escargot were delicious. The beer and wine were crisp and refreshing. The trout and steak entrees were superb. The profiteroles were the perfect way to end the meal.

   Excellent on all fronts despite it being the thanksgiving holiday weekend and they were slammed- the manager took care of any mistakes that were made quickly and we had a great time!! Tables are a little too close together and it is very noisy due to the tile flooring, but not a deal breaker!!

   Service is good until it gets a bit crowded and then it becomes very slow. Once you have your food it also becomes difficult to get someone to your table.

    Been there before and satisfied - it's why we went back. Friday after Thanksgiving - perhaps they were short-staffed? Onion soup came out luke-warm, more bread than onions. Caesar salad doesn't go wrong. Beef entrees with pommes puree - the beef was good, my wife's "special" three-pieces was not cooked as ordered, and the mashed potatoes were also luke warm and too buttery. Service was just noticeably slow but our waiter was cool. One of the guys who runs out the servings to table was apparently feeling very stressed and angry, maybe for good reasons. Double espressos fine. Peach sorbet for my wife "very refreshing."

    We ate outside on this beautiful day. We each had the lunch special, 3 courses, fixed price. Delicious roast salmon. I had butternut squash soup and profiterole dessert. Our server was fantastic!!

    As soon as I walked in the atmosphere was very relaxing. Started with a warm baguette with creamy butter. Tried the escargot appetizer. Ordered their steak and fries as a main with a red wine. The best steak I’ve ever had. Our server Gary was amazing

    We have eaten at this restaurant for more than 15 years and never had a problem. This most recent visit was definitely not consistent with past experience. Food for the main course was significantly under-cooked. One dish had to be returned to the kitchen twice which eventually caused us to order a different meal on the third try. Waiting for these meals prolonged dinner far beyond our expectations. The server was great and did all that he could to remedy the situation. The manager was also attentive and didn't charge us for the main courses. All very appreciated and a great reflection on the front room staff. The kitchen was certainly not up to the same level of performance. Since we were near the kitchen we noticed several other meals being returned and heard a nearby customer sending his food back because it was under-cooked. We have always given this restaurant good reviews but believe it is useful to the restaurant and their customers to give notice when there is a problem.

    An INCREDIBLE experience! The food was delicious and our waiter was great. We ordered the burrata for an appetizer and they had gluten-free bread for my gluten allergy- incredible and very rare to see! Incredibly accommodating. I ordered the steak frites with bernaise sauce and couldn’t put it down, it was delicious. The two other members of my party split the crème brûlée for dessert and they said it was the best they’ve ever had. It was an overall such a pleasant experience, especially for my loved ones who were visiting for the weekend.

    This was my first time back since the pandemic. Was not disappointed. Both the food and service were excellent. Topping off our delicious lunch were the chocolate profiteroles. Gary was very informative & helpful. Frederico provided us a rundown of all the scrumptious desserts. We’ll be back🤗.

    Food and service were excellent except for one mistake. Portions were larger than expected so keep that in mind when ordering starters. We all had chicken. Two of the three of us had French onion soup and one had mussels. All were very good. They brought out a birthday treat, which was thoughtful, but I have celiac (gluten allergy) which the waiter was aware of. The treat had a pastry with ice cream and chocolate sauce. I couldn’t eat it but my fellow diners did. It was thoughtful but would have been nice if the pastry had been left out especially because I told the waiter I had celiac. He said they take that very seriously but obviously they didn’t. Staff was friendly, food was very tasty, ambience was pleasant except for screaming kids at nearby table which they have no control over, and we enjoyed our evening. For these reasons I still gave them five stars.

    We always find Mon Ami Gabi’s service outstanding, food quality consistent and the ambiance allows our group to relax and converse easily. The restaurant is conveniently located with plenty of nearby parking.

    It is a tradition that a close friend and I meet at Mona Ami Gabe when I am in town. Always a pleasure to dine here in the relaxed and warm atmosphere. Our table and wine server were accommodating and went above and beyond to make our dining experience special. The food in comparison was just ok, nothing exceptional and somewhat expensive.

    Breakfast was eggs Florentine, a waffle and pork sausage. Both entrees were good, the waffle mix that they use is one of the best in the flavor category and the waffle was cooked properly. The pork sausage was a typical compact store bought version, nothing special for a French restaurant.coffee is never served hot nor is the heated cream, both of which I could drink entirely when served without so much as a flinch.you should really work on the coffee as that’s what makes the meal.

    Usually a staple for us, this last visit missed the mark. The Classique Steak frites - was overdone, over salted and very tough small piece - for ~$40. Artichoke was bland and over cooked - They give more fries than anyone could eat but the steak was not up to par… they don’t slice it either. In addition the value at this restaurant (as well as most others) has deteriorated - For party of 3 with no drinks and no dessert we were at ~$200. Also on the bill - was a $4 “service charge” which has a note that “you can remove it upon request” I doubt many people notice it. The restaurant also feels a bit tired and could use a refresh. With that said, the restaurant was crowded and lively.
