Dinner on a Monday night - waiter not attentive. Was only focused on larger tables not our table of two. Ordered the salmon salad with no kale. Except for pecans the other ingredients were missing and replaced with some purple rubbery (vegetable?). Would have sent it back, but did not want to wait. This definitely an off night.
Great, highly professional, courteous and friendly service. Thank you.
They let us hang out and catch up. Love their eggs Benedict and my friend had that waffle and Nutella. Awesome. Hollandaise.
Great food and service. It was busy, but I fully understand why. It was delicious
Always a favorite! Comfortable and relaxing restaurant. Great food, interesting specials
I brought my family for a Valentine’s weekend dinner and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The ingredients are fresh, the service is very courteous, and the ambience is always excellent.
Great place , had a very early reservation and they got super busy and didn't get around to offering us dessert. Just too busy but wonderful food
Food ( salad and French fries) were to salty. Lunch menu was limeted.
Food is fantastic as always.
I like their medium rare filet mignon with red wine reduction/Bordeaux butter and bread pudding with vanilla ice cream/pecan. They are very good! The restaurant has a nice ambience/lighting, but the noise level is typical for a busy restaurant. Also, the tables for two in a row are a bit too close to each other. Overall, I will definitely go back there again for the Classic Cuts and social gatherings.
Lunch date at Mon Ami Bethesda on a Friday afternoon. Drinks and service were spectacular. Food, as always, was very good. Skip the bread to save room for an appetizer. You’ll be glad you did. And request Gregory. We’ve been 6-8 times and he is the best waiter yet.
Food was delicious and special. Had the lobster bisque with crabmeat--the server poured the bisque into my bowl from a teapot, very special. My grilled chicken salad had a terrific dressing and enhanced with dried figs. The Express Lunch was a great way to have an appetizer, entree and dessert for a good price.
Food was great and the service was phenomenal! Great experience all the way around.
Great service
Good food
Will come back
Good wine selection
Judy is the best waitress! She is always super friendly and very attentive. Food was delicious as awaits!
We ate there on Valentines Day with another couple. Our Server, who unfortunately I can not remember his name, was outstanding. He was personable, available but not intrusive, and excellent at making suggestions. The food was outstanding.
We always enjoy Mon Ami Gabi but some time ago they dropped their Bananas Foster Crepe. That's a huge disappointment. I keep telling the wait staff to tell management to bring it back but they haven't so far. And so far, we have skipped getting a dessert.
Wonderful! One of our favorite restaurants!
The service is very good, we will come back again!
Beef Wellington (Sundays) is a challenging test - it was excellent - but hint, they run out, so go early, or reserve early. Great paired with St. Emilion Grand Cru.
We know we can count on Mon Ami for good food and great service and we were not disappointed.
First, I love Mon Ami. I've had two meals there and they were both terrific. My only complaint about this visit was the temperature of my Beef Wellington. My date ordered the trout almondine, which we shared (as always!) and I had the BW. When they arrived, the trout was perfectly done. My Wellington, however, had apparently sat in the kitchen for some time, because it was plainly cold. I know I'll be back to MAG, but this was a little problematic for me this time.
Our brunch took over two hours. Our food was extremely slow to come out and the waiter never even apologized for the delay or came over while we waited. We also had a 14 month old baby who was luckily very cooperative.
Get together with out of town friends
Excellent food and food choices. Service excellent
Have frequented the Chicago and Las Vegas properties many times and found Bathesda to exceed my expectations. Steaks and sauces hit the spot and I only had to drive over 100 miles to visit this location.
All my favorite French bistro favorites are regulars at Mon Ami Gabi, and the wait staff is consistently helpful and personable, whether the place is packed or quieter during off hours.
One of our all-time favorites to bring friends! Service was impeccable.
I was disappointed with the brussel sprouts. They had little taste and were mushy. The mushrooms, the spinach, and the steaks were delicious.
Excellent waiter. Delicious food.
We’ve been to Mon Ami at Bethesda and Las Vegas and both places are great.
Our server was Missy and she’s just great. We’ve had her during the summer last year and got her again. She’s very pleasant and follows through on any questions she’s doesn’t know the answers too. Which is nice.
We have been to Mon Ami Gabi a few times over the years. The food and drinks are generally good. This time, I must say the salmon special of the day and the baked goat cheese were excellent. The steak Roquefort and the dessert Profiteroles were good, nothing special. It’s a nice place to have dinner after the movie. Service was good.
We had brunch and the overall experience was great. We will definitely go back
Service was not great . I asked for the fish ( trout ) with no sauce . When it arrived it tasted like butter . I have no idea why they can’t just grill it instead of putting on all this butter . It took ten minutes just to get the bill . Very disappointed in this meal .
French Onion Soup never disappoints.
The French Onion Soup here is about as good as it gets. It has tons of onions, a rich broth, several pieces of bread and a generous portion of nicely browned and melted cheese. Paired with the fresh French bread and a glass of Latour Chardonnay you can't go wrong. My husband had the Lobster Bisque which was also very warming. We shared the chocolate caramel tart (paired with thick fresh whipped cream) which was good and great for sharing. It is so rich, it would be difficult for one person to finish it.
There were virtually no vegetarian options. Very disappointing.
Steak was perfect. Was not a big fan of the sandwiches
The best service and great night to listen to jazz.
The food is reliably good with good quality ingredients. There are many excellent waitstaff, but Ruben is the best!
the setting is pleasant. Very good service and good food. Good variety of food and dessert. When the weather is nice, it's most pleasant to be able to sit and eat outside.
