Excellent food, and great service!
I go often, nice ambience, great food!
Momo's has been around in various locations for, what, 25 years? You don't last that long unless you are doing something right. Unpretentious, fresh, and well prepared southern Italian cuisine. Simple as that. Food fashionistas need not apply. Surprising number of meatless dishes. If you are on a low-carb/no-carb diet this is not your place. We asked that our dish be modified a wee bit with the addition of some fresh vegetables and they were happy to comply. Great value, and served up in a non-trendy atmosphere. Place was comfortably full (it was Valentine's Day) and noise level was bearable. (How delightful.)
Wonderful food and service, and a very convenient location if attending a show at Theatre Three, right next door.
The four of us ate here again pre theater. The salad special was excellent. The pasta dishes, fish special, and chicken special all on the added menu were wonderful. The chocolate and Italian cream cake desserts were also delicious.
Took our kids here for 16th Birthday. Food was amazing. Service was great.
Consistent good food and service.
Went in for Sunday evening dinner with five friends, as the Quadrangle is convenient, and I had great ( pasta )memories of the original Momo's on Forest Lane. Now located in the original 8'O space the venue seems a bit tired but serviceable. Service was fine - pleasant and observant - and the menu fairly comprehensive. A salad special was edible, but just barely. However, the linguini punchinella was cooked and sauced perfectly. Decent wines by the glass.
Chose his place for convenient location and availability of gluten free options. Mostly unimpressive. While edible I would not go back.
Great space, service was exceptional and the food was tasty!
This is my fifth visit to this restaurant and each time it’s excellent — very consistent
The food was delicious and the wait staff were super friendly!
The pasta is remarkable. The restaurant is in a fun location. The ambiance is nice. Enjoyable evening... will definitely becoming back.
Food was excellent as usual but something is always a little off with the service - people rushing around with no plan or manager. We sat outside but were unprepared for the thumping bass from a nearby nightclub.
Took forever to get food, never got some of the drinks we ordered
We were surprised because the restaurant was not busy in the least, yet had very good reviews.
Pasta was homemade and some were different than the usual Italian offerings. All was very good, glad we went.
This is the best pasta I have had in Dallas. They have a great variety of dishes and I don't know of many other places with so many different pasta dishes. The calamari was also excellent.
The location is a little hidden but, once you get there, it is quite charming. I strongly recommend it. The value is also very good.
We had a lovely time at MOMO and with the nice weather, were able to sit outside
Two of our party had the chicken breast with Avocado which was the special and it was excellent I had the gnocchi with Italian sausage which was very good and the calamari appetizer is always excellent. As well the tiramisu which is our favorite desert, is superb
The food was great and service awesome. I definitely will go back.
Always prompt, excellent, service. The food is wonderful.
Good option for pasta
Pasta was soggy, salad was not too fresh, food was no better than fast food restaurants but a twice the price.
Our waitress was perfect, food could've been better yet I have no complaints. On the other hand my wife's risotto was a bit dry, hence the 4/5 stars. Would recommend this place to my friends.
We went pretty early so there was only one other table. It felt kind of weird with the night music in broad daylight, but the servers were quick and kept everything refilled and got everything to us really quick. The pasta was delicious as was the bread with oil they serve with your meal.
Dropped in for a pre- concert meal and was not disappointed.. the linguini bolenese was outstanding!
Great food, great service!
Food was pretty good, very tasty. The ravioli dish we had was very undersized though (only 6 with some sauce) for the $17 price. Ambiance was pretty average and wait staff was a little uninspired. Better quality glassware would help.
José G., was my server. He was friendly but professional. I was glad to chat with him in Spanish. I ordered the Maccheroni Vesuviana which was plentiful (I took much of it home). I would have liked some garlic added to this dish--a personal preference. I enjoy this Momo's location as it is around the corner from Theatre 3 where I have had good experiences.
Food was really good. The atmosphere was blah and the service was not good. Highly recommend for takeout!
One of the best things at Momo's is the bread/olive oil with garlic before and with the meal. I could eat that combination all day long! Our server didn't check back in with us after our meal arrived and we were wanting more drinks - the only complaint I have. The food was very good as usual.
Place was dead and service still slow and not attentive. Would not tecommend.
We risked a new restaurant for my best friends birthday......4 of us, and all of us raved about the food. 4 different entrees' and all very delicious. We will be back. Wonderful waiter.........
We got there early (6:30), and it was very very quiet - which is what we were looking for.......
after 7, it got quite busy.......but confirmed our decision of coming to this restaurant.
I will recommend to all I know.
The food was delicious. The service was great and the location is perfect. We had a nice meal and we enjoyed the dinner. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice Italian meal.
We had a wonderful Tuesday night meal at MoMo's celebrating my son's birthday. The food was wonderful and fresh and the service was excellent!
when we first walked in it smelled like someone was cleaning the bathroom not like an italian restaurant that should warm your heart with its smells. My husband ordered pasta and i ordered a pizza. it was to have different meats on it ... it tasted like a pizza out of a cafeteria. The pasta was ok but it was supposed to have shrimp in it and he had to dig to find any. The music was not appealing ... it was not italian or classic it was old 70's rock.. I would not go back... it had horrible parking and I just didn't even feel safe.
The food was exceptional, from the appetizers to the main courses. The service was friendly and efficient. I would definitely return.
Great service and the food was wonderful . We had not been in a long time and were pleased that it was still a Greta place for a family meal.
Food is always great, service is always slow. If you have time for a VERY leisurely meal, then it's worth the money
Waiter was not on the ball. I actually gave 10 dollars to the young lady who was bussing tables and taking care of our needs.
