Love the new location
We love this place! Great food, great service, in a no too large space. Highly recommend!
Had a lovely meal, service was great, very friendly and food was delicious! We’ll be going back, a good addition to the neighborhood!
Our first visit, it was very good and we have a great experience.
So happy with the new location. Service was excellent. Glad to see social distancing and masks. We shared on social media so all our friends know to come check out the new space.
For a place named Momo’s PASTA it sure didn’t have good pasta. The Pizza was outstanding but no one enjoyed the pasta. I am not sure if the relocation that they are about to go through is the contributing factor but wasn’t impressed. Would try again once they move though!
Our first time to eat here. It was a Saturday evening about 5 pm. They were not very busy and it was their last day at this location. The food was delicious. Everything about the service was professional. We will be going again at their new location.
The place was hard to find but they are moving to another location.
Service was great - waiter was attentive and very nice/ friendly
Food- there was 4 of us - only one like their food a lot- mine was blan - had the Alfredo spinach ravioli- pasta texture was good - but spinach stuffing had no flavor- so just plain spinach which didn’t help the already blan sauce- when I asked everyone- the 2 others said it was ok / so so-
We were visitors out of town and on the recommendation of a hotel clerk, we visited. Excellent!
I used to frequent Momo's when they were on Knox long ago, and it was consistently good. My friend convinced me to dine at Momo's one last time before they move (even though dining at the Quadrangle location never lived up to their past performance). We both ordered Rotolo Verde (used to be a favorite) and were both disappointed. The marinara was bland, the pasta was overly chewy, and the spinach filling was ho hum. I ordered the Insalata Verde since it was also a past favorite, but the toppings were very sparse: 3 bits of walnut, 3 half slices of radish and barely any tomatoes. I have never counted the ingredients in a salad, but was surprised they had been so stingy. My friend ordered a green salad on their specials menu that featured roasted beets and a grapefruit vinaigrette, which she said was pretty tasteless. We both wish we hadn't gone, and certainly won't be trying their new location.
Waited almost 30 min to get acknowledged by server after having to walk to front and ask for someone to the table. Waited another 15 min to get appetizer and drinks after the appetizer was brought to us. Waiter was brief and in a hurry. Overall, food was good, everything else was terrible.
Delicious, authentic Italian food served in a romantic setting. Great for date night!
Momo's is a great place. We go there frequently enough to feel like it's our "Cheers." The staff remembers us. Warm, friendly, family atmosphere, but great place for date night. Food is consistent and fabulous.
Delicious meal!! Great Italian restaurant!! We will be back!
New year’s dinner with friends. Food was amazing!!
It was XMas Day so one has to take that into consideration.....it was very chaotic as expected, not many other restaurants open and the Number of people were overwhelming. Need to re-try under normal circumstances.
It was Christmas Day so it was crowded and service was very slow but our server was doing the best he could!
We arrived for our 5:45pm reservations and didn’t get our food for over two and a half hours. The food was terrible. Our waiter was very kind but I don’t think this was his fault. Management made a poor decision to be open Christmas Day with a skeleton crew and a chef that didn’t know the recipes. Not exactly a good experience for our Christmas Day meal.
Christmas Day lunch . It was great food with great ambiance
While the food isn't bad, it isn't terrific either. Even with a reservation, our table for four was in the very back, behind a wall, near an ugly fish tank, under a TV, and with really poor lighting, almost in the shadows. When I mentioned my displeasure to the person seating us he said something like, We're very busy. It's Christmas time. Mind you, this was a week and a half before Christmas and with a reservation. To his credit, moments after we sat down, he came back and took us out front and offered us either of two locations we'd passed on the way to the original one. Our "new" tables, side-by-side two tops, were at least better located, but they rocked anytime they were touched. The service was efficient, if rushed. Many tables that vacated while we were there remained full of dirty dishes when we left. The place sorely needs a face lift, new tables, and much better lighting. Again, the food wasn't bad, but for the price, we expected an ambiance that better matched other places with similar prices. We won't likely return anytime soon.
Our go to place for pasta when we are in Dallas Texas.
Great place to dine before a show. We greatly enjoyed the food, the wine selection was reasonable, and the service was low key and professional. A very enjoyable evening.
We had another excellent dinner at MOMO. We always start with the “;pink bread” and calamari
Two of us had the tagliatelle Pescatore which was excellent , One had the risotto with lobster and another had the fettuccine Alfredo. We had a nice bottle of wine. .
Wonderful food and excellent service!
Momo’s was amazing! It’s a fun little spot my husband and I like to go to. The food and service was amazing and we look forward to coming back soon:)
Great food! We always stop in to Momo's if we are going downtown!
The mood of the restaurant makes no sense. Abstract paintings paired with no music playing. Some fluorescent, some cool lighting confused the ambiance. There was only one waiter therefore the service was slow. The focaccia tasted store bought and the food was so expensive with horrible quality. The peas, mixed vegetables, and chicken were obviously frozen and just heated up. I will never go to this restaurant again because there is no plus side. Simply put, Momo’s pasta has a confused ambience, slow service, expensive food, low quality food, and nothing going for it.
I always enjoy Momo’s. Great food!
Everything was great. Nice area. Service was quick and precise.
Birthday was wonderful-they lit the candles on our cake and cut and served it....just terrific service!
First it is super hard to find so give yourself time.
Service was good. Food was average. Was expecting better based on the rating. The biggest downside are the portions. A $20 bowl of pasta has you wanting more bread and water to fill up.
Probably will not return.
What a gem! Service was outstanding, food was delicious and atmosphere was charming. I would absolutely recommend Momo’s, and would visit again when in Dallas.
Momo’s is such a wonderful little neighborhood gem. The brunch food is great and flavorful and absolutely affordable.
The food was good, not great. The bruschetta was average, the salad was decent, and the chicken special I ordered was quite good. Our server was very attentive, and we got in and out quickly. If you are in a hurry, this would be a great place to go.
Wonderful food and service; really quiet (Wednesday 6:30p)
I am SO HAPPY my wife and I found this gem in Dallas. The food was amazing. The atmosphere was relaxing, and our server was on spot. For me, the freshness of the food and the flavor of the sauces is what makes an Italian restaurant good. Well, these guys hit the target. If I closed my eyes, I would have sworn I was in Italy.
I WILL be back. Hopefully often when I'm in Dallas.
Great date night spot. Fantastic service and authentic Italian in Dallas!
Just was not a great food experience
I used to love Momo;s and haven't been for years. We went yesterday and were very disappointed. The food was so-so, the restaurant had a stale smell and the service was slow. Unfortunately, we will not be going back.
