Momo's Pasta - Addison Ratings and Reviews
My mom and I dined here on an early Sunday evening, so not too many people were there. Several more parties entered as time went on. Our server was kind, especially when we took a while to decide what to order; there were so many options! Our food arrived not too long after we finally ordered, and we were not disappointed in what we chose. This Italian cuisine was definitely better than most other restaurants I've been to in the more southern area of Dallas. I'm glad I chose to come to this Addison location, and I plan on coming back to try other things on the menu.
I love Momo's and try to eat here every chance I get. When I think of meeting friends in Addison, Momo's always comes to mind first. I had the gnocchi ala salsiccia and it was wonderful with yummy, pillowy gnocchi in a rich tomato sauce with small sausage balls. My cousin and aunt had alfredo pastas and really enjoyed the melt-in-your-mouth pasta with the velvety alfredo sauce. My cousin and aunt chose a Merlot to enjoy with the dinner which was an excellent pairing. We also had the tiramisu for dessert which I swear is the best in Dallas. A special kudos to the restaurant for honoring an online coupon I couldn't pull up on my phone to get the code. One thing about Momo's is the servers always try to make accommodations to make your dining experience a memorable one.
Unique cocoa infused pasta with gruyere and prosciutto was great. The pizza was delicious. The chicken had a great sauce but was pounced so thin that it came out kinda dry/tough. Tiramisu was perfect.
The wine choices have a nice variety and prices make it worth coming back for that alone. Appears to be family run, which is very quaint and not often seen.
I booked a table on Valentine's Day and was beyond happy with our decision to choose this restaurant. Holidays, especially Valentine's Day, can be a little nerve wrecking when it comes to quality and service. This restaurant couldn't have exceeded our expectations more. From getting us in 30 minutes prior to our scheduled reseravation time, to the service, to the food, the price - everything was amazing. The owner was wonderful and treated us so kindly checking in on things and even accomodating our menu changes without additional costs even after we offered to pay a difference. They even made sure my 4 year old was well taken care of. I highly recommend this place!
The food was good. Our waitress seemed to have forgotten about us a few times. Neither one of us (my date) was offered a second drink the entire time. She forgot to put in our appetizer order so our food took forever to get there. The food was really good one we got it and the girl cleaning up the tables made up for the waitress. Over all it was good.
We enjoyed our first dinner at Momo's. The meal was very well prepared and the service was perfect. We arrived for an early dinner, so it was quiet and the wait staff was attentive but not overwhelming. This is some of the best Italian food we've found in Dallas, and the price is reasonable. We particularly liked the fact that there were none of the "airs" that you find in some trendy Dallas restaurants, just good food well made. Thank you...we'll be back!
