Momo’s BBQ Grill in Harrisburg does barbecue with a capital “B,” making it hard to limit your visit to a single time. Texas beef brisket, pulled pork and chicken are cooked to perfection and come with your choice of more than ten sauces. Try the pitmaster salad, a mix of smoked turkey and ham, or a pulled pork sandwich before diving in and ordering a combination platter of pork, brisket, or chicken BBQ.
The sauces include regional specialties from Memphis, the Carolinas, Kansas City and Texas. The Momo's BBQ Grill house sauce is sweet, and the others give you a full range of tasty sauces from around the United States. The list of delicious sides at Momo’s BBQ Grill includes smoked corn on the cob, baked beans, coleslaw, macaroni and cheese and apple sauce.
Went to MO MO on a Saturday evening. They were not overly busy. I ordered a brisket sandwich, they meat was only Luke warm, the cheese on top wouldn't even melt. For the first time at this BBQ establishment I wouldn't recommend it.
Ate here during off-peak hours. Few customers. Food well done. Service attentive. Ambience lacking.
I have passed this place countless times and never had tried it, but decided to give it a shot when my sister recommended it. Definitely a great find that I will be visiting again soon. From the outside it just looks like a small barbecue shop, but when you enter you notice it is much larger and has a nice low key atmosphere. The food was delicious, the beer options were plentiful and the prices were inexpensive compared to the rest of the neighborhood. Definitely a great find that I will be recommending to all of my friends!
Food was great, service was ok. It seemed like the server was rushing us to get in and get out.
I was in town for a business convention and wanted to try MoMo's. Friends suggested it and it was great. The St Louis ribs were great and so were the sides. I especially liked the many various BBQ sauces they offer. Will go back when I am in town.
We were visiting Harrisburg and enjoyed the casual atmosphere. The food was great. Amazing beans and creamed corn. So many sauces to choose from for the meats. Service was great.
Hard to believe this place was on open table, no disrespect but it is a dive bar...I could see it on diners drive-ins and dives but open table...really...really
This restaurant has a nice choice of BBQ and a good selection of BBQ sauces. They also have several TV's on the walls so the sports fans can keep track of their favorite game. The food portions were nice and large but they were a little skimpy on the BBQ sauce portions. I went there Friday even and they had a live band, they were OK.
The pulled pork was outstanding and Momo's sauces are great! Service was good and we were out in time for our next meeting.
Extremely tasty BBQ (all kinds) and great variety of amazing sauces! Choose from pork, chicken, beef (burnt ends - WOW!) It's all good. Plus (no cover the Sat. night we were there) entertainment on weekends. I know I sound like a commerecial - but honestly - we live 30 mins. away and eat at MoMos more than once every 2 months. We've never been disappointed - or gone home hungry! Great beer selection too!
This has become our standard pre-concert dinner stop. They have great barbecue and an awesome beer list. The service is always good and the place just has a great, comfortable feeling to it.
I work near Momo's so my co-workers and I frequent this establishment often. I've never had a bad experience here. The food is delicious.
Momo's has lot's of options - from craft beers to barbecue and the sauce that goes on them. The French Fries were the BEST - thin, crispy and wonderful. If you look at the beer menu before you go, make sure to remember brand and name, it will help significantly. There was a live band the night we were there, but we were still able to have a conversation at a table at the front of the restaurant. We will be back.
Had ribs and pulled pork. The ribs and bbq sauce were delicious, but wasn't in love with the pulled pork. Overall the service was great and the atmosphere was nice.
I ate here due to the positive reviews. The food was only just OK, and certainly not up to the standards of a good southern barbecue restaurant, or even a good chain restaurant like Famous`Dave's. It was also quite noisy, especially towards the front.
While in Harrisburg, this restaurant is visiting. HUGE beer selection and the food was excellent. Several excellent BBQ sauces to choose from to compliment those ribs! Easy going place with good interactive staff. Highly recommend!!
BBQ was outstanding. The beer selection was great. Not the best looking place, but well worth it.
Went on Father's Day for dinner with my teenage son and daughter. The atmosphere is casual with live music being regularly held there although none the evening of my visit. The service staff was a bit thin but it was later in the day and we had no issues getting service. They have an extensive and interesting beer list and the food is very good. I had ribs and the server's recommendation for sauce was a good choice to accompany it. My son and daughter enjoyed their selections as well. Great spot for early evening family dining trip downtown or a later evening fun spot for music.
Got there and sat ASAP. Great when with small children. Great waiting staff, phenomenal BBQ good selection of beers and live band playing great music. Will have to go back again.
The baby back ribs were excellent. They were flavorful and tender. The catfish was oddly way oversalted, but tender and good quality. Others at the table really enjoyed their sweet potato tots, brisquet and pulled pork sandwich. The staff was really friendly and helpful. A great visit.
Our first visit and we loved it!! The "burnt ends" special was incredible! Out server was awesome and very accommodating when we wanted to try a variety of BBQ sauces! We will definitely go back! Maybe even try their Sunday brunch!
The food was great, as was our waitress. She have us suggestions and was attentive. Will definitely come again!
