Momofuku CCDC offers group dining and private dining featuring customizable set menus.
Lamb noodles were good but all noodle. Three TINY bites of lamb. Come on Dave...
Hamachi, liver mousse, asparagus, were all great.
The grill was down for maintenance, so many options were not available....including dessert! Had I known in advance, I wouldn’t have brought my family there. At least let patrons know in advance when this is happening!
Food was outstanding, unique flavors and great fresh ingredients
The food was innovative and creative. We really enjoy it. As many in DC, we claim to be foodie and appreciate innovation and creativity as well as melting different cultures in one plate. Momofuku does this very well, combines south east cuisine with middle eastern with a touch of southern Europe. Unfortunately, though, the service is very poor. The waitresses don’t know how to do their job the pass in front of you while you are talking to pour water on the other side of the table to avoid going around (we were only four!) they didn’t have us try the second bottle of wine (even if the same kind of wine) they pour the wine from the new bottle in a glass already half full with the previous bottle ... the bring food before the wine ...these inattentions impede this restaurant to be a good a restaurant or a restaurant where I would come back!
Fantastic culinary creations! Congratulations on a wonderful restaurant!
Exactly what I expected however a bit pricey but quality is excellent and service is impeccable!
3rd time at Momofuku CCDC. Everything you order is a creative culinary treat. Waiters are very kind and attentive. Chef helped us pick our dinner!
I travel to DC a number of times a year on business and this is my go to spot for a great meal and great time.
The soft shell crab wrap was amazing! I always enjoy my meal at CCDC.
The place was decent but nothing spectacular. The menu was average but the restaurant itself was very nice.
Great weekend brunch! Always a good time at Momofukku!
The bread and onion dip were tasteless. The chicken was very dry and over cooked. the rice was sparse and seemed like it was cooked earlier and reheated . Extremely disappointed in the experience.
Momfuku is absolutely fantastic! The food tasted incredible, and the service was exceptional. I truly cannot recommend this place enough.
All it is cracked up to be and more. The lamb appetizer is outstanding.
Tae Strain runs a great restaurant in D.C. The food was everything and more than I could have expected from the Momofuku group.
Great lunch spot. Good menu and good service. A tad noisier than I like, but the place was packed the day I ate there. I'll go again.
They shouldn’t have the name Momofuku if it is managed by a different chef and a different menu than the ones in NYC. Fully dissapointed they didn’t have pork buns
Simple, creative food with great service. Enjoyed the momobap bowls and kimchee potato salad!
It was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo dank. Incredible.
Just amazing. I don’t know how you do it, but it’s always bloody fantastic. Cheers!
We came for the famous BBQ Pork Buns but unfortunately the chef has discontinued these. The waiter was very understanding as invited us to stay and try something else but had no problem if we wanted to get up and walk out. We had just come from a hefty brunch so we were a little full. Ended up getting a few cocktails which were perfect for a spring afternoon. It was still brunch time so we decided to split the Blue Corn & Pecan Pancake with 4 people. It was absolutely delicious. Like no other pancake I had had before. If you are questioning whether you are in a sweet mood, go ahead and get it, you will not regret it.
The space is very attractive, and some of the dishes were quite good, but overall the menu is a little ambitious. Each dish seems to have one or two ingredients added that don’t fit. The chef goes a little too far sometimes, and that ruined it for me on a couple items.
Fantastic! I took a friend there for her birthday. It was my third time there and it met my high expectations. The food was unbelievable. The portions are a nice size and the flavors are always surprising and fresh. I haven’t eaten or drank anything there that left me remotely unsatisfied.
Terrible service - so slow!
The spicy cucumbers are a revelation. They--and so much of the food-- was fresh and light.
Amazing food, good service! The beef dumplings and bread with cultured butter were a favorite.
Some of the dishes we ordered were lacking in flavor - not worth the price point
Excellent as all Momofuku's I've visited always are.
Great menu! Our favorites were the duck (2 ways), roast cabbage, and the trout dip. We inquired about vegan items for one of our guests and the server returned with a list of items that were vegan or could be modified to be vegan - which is better than what most restaurants are willing to do. Would be even greater if more items were designed to be all plant based so our guest didn't feel like they were getting a second rate dish. Overall great service.
It was a great ambiance and meal until we went home each all four us were sick from suspected food contamination.
An excellent meal from start (Bing bread with duck mousse) to finish (that evenings special of roast duck) showcased the kitchens ability to deliver on flavors both subtle and bold. Certainly worth another visit.
The food was so salty and not flavorful.
not many choices for brunch, expensive coffee without refill.
great food and atmosphere. great food and atmosphere.
Momofuku CCDC is a great dining experience. Me and my family just came into DC from SF and following a quick check-in to our hotel, I surprised my wife and teenage daughter with a reservation at Momofuku. The staff is friendly and welcoming. We started out with drinks and Bing Bread with the Smoke Carolina Trout spread. We moved on to the small plates...Hamachi Tartare, the Charred Arrowhead Cabbage, and the Aged Beef Dumpling Soup. Then we ordered some large plates; the Branzino Ssäm – a flaky, white meat fish served with spicy ginger scallion on lettuce rounds. And we wrapped up with the Braised Lamb Neck Noodles (like pappardelle).
The food here is delicious and I don’t think there’s anything that you will order that is not absolutely wonderful. The ambiance is great with a great selection of music that matches the evolving energy in the room. This place just satisfies!
Fantastic place for a celebration.
Lovely design and layout.
This was the best dining experience we've all had in a very long time - the flavors that Chef Tae and his team are creating can't even be described. My friends & I shared every dish and couldn't get enough of all of them. And the service & hospitality of the whole team elevates the whole experience even further. I can't wait to go back!
Food and service were very good. The menu is a bit limited for lunch, but a good value.
Server was very attentive to details
