Momofuku CCDC offers group dining and private dining featuring customizable set menus.
The food is very creative and delicious. The twist on Asian food with creative presentation is lovely. The ambiance is great and the waiters are extremely nice and knowledgeable about their menu. It is definitely a great experience to go back.
It was one of the worst dining experiences I have had in a while... I think they are using the name without providing the value of the NYC locations.
It was my fourth time and I was disappointed with the menu choices and the quality and flavor of the food, especially for the price. We had soft-shell crab and there was so much fried batter on them that was all you could taste, rather than enjoying the sweet crab flavor. I ordered a non-alcoholic Gin & Tonic and it was toooo sweet, almost syrupy. I never tasted any spice ginger with the Branzino. I won't be rushing back anytime soon.
The experience exceeded our expectations. We shared all dishes and did not find a single one that was less than memorable.
The dry-spiced chicken with rotisserie fat rice is an absolutely monster, delicious dish through and through. Trout dip, cucumbers, and beets make amazing appetizers.
Everything we had was delicious! Our server gave us complimentary sparkling rose since it was our anniversary and I ended up ordering a glass of it! The salted chili pimento cheese was really tasty with their homemade flatbread. We also had the hamachi tartare was very fresh. I had the noodles while my husband had the branzino and both were great entree choices. Can’t wait to go back!
Food was delicious. We were celebrating a birthday and everyone was welcoming.
Fantastic food and excellent cocktails. Great city vibe and even though the noise level was a little higher, we had no trouble hearing the people at our table.
One of the best meals I've ever had. Service was excellent, environment was fun and interesting and the food blew my mind.
Wonderful service all around! Great food, will definitely be back!
Amazing food and service!! The lamb and the pimento cheese appetizers are something I am definitely going to purchase again.
Nice restaurant atmosphere and customer service but there was nothing on the menu that enticed us to actually eat there. We had a drink and left to eat elsewhere.
Had a wonderful experience at Momofuku. Food was tasty and service was great. Highly recommend!
They really should change the name at this point as it has nothing to do with Momofuku. We went expecting to eat David's menu, but its been turned into a mess with no real thread other than 'locally sourced' which our waitress kept repeating over and over. The items we ate were good, but It was hard to get enough protein without committing to the larger dishes that are for 2-3 folks. I wonder if Chef Tae got rid of the ice cream machine over at MilkBar as well???
Overall a good place for a meal - decent food, not amazing - but quite good. The staff is very attentive and helpful. The decor is quite trendy and minimalist modern. Noise was moderate - we did have to raise our voice just a few times as the restaurant filled to capacity. A solid place - with decent food. If you're looking for a standard night out, this place will def. suffice.
4 course meal was excellent. Wasn’t excited about the fried chicken but the curried beers were amazing.
Awesome! Great food and atmosphere! Love the square tables. Great service. I’ll be back soon!
Delicious food, good atmosphere. All around good time. I will definitely be going back and would absolutely recommend as a happy hour or small plates spot.
One of my go-to places for work meetings and lunches. The menu is alway exciting and delicious, with lots of fresh flavors and innovative combinations. In a world of box lunches and quick bites during the lunch rush, Momofuku is a much needed delight.
Great food, service and overall experience. A must dinner spot for me when I am next in DC.
My girlfriend and I came to get ramen but there is no ramen at this Momofuku location. However we had the lamb wrap and the Pork Shoulder wrap, both were delicious and each plate is definitely shareable as the portions are large and filling. The pork one was my favorite, so much flavor and a very mellow kick to it. Can't wait to go back and try other plates.
I already have recommended it. I was there at lunch by myself, sat at the counter, and enjoyed my meal.
Just awesome. Fabulous food; our server was extraordinarily helpful; and in fact, the price per person was reasonable - especially considering what we received.
Dinner was great! Would definently return.
My foodie friends, my husband and I enjoyed an early dinner, we shared 3 entrees and a few appetizers. My FAVORITE was the garlic noodles with soft shell crab as well as the duck entree!! It was absolutely delicious and we will definitely be back! I have a HUGE foodie fangirl crush on David Chang as well as Christina Tosi, and can’t believe I hadn’t visited this location sooner! I actually had no idea Momofuku or Milk Bar were in DC until a few days ago. I’m glad I googled them and snagged reservations for the next day! I definitely had some “crack” pie and took home a few of the cake balls, one of each of the cookies, a cookbook, corn powder and cereal milk mix! I can’t wait to come back again!
We had a nice night.
The place has a cool ambience, great food while still enable conversation.
Great experience. Very attentive service. Food came out quickly and was very tasty.
Limited menu options but for good reason — every small bite of everything we ordered was incredibly delicious!
Good, but feels like a chain now, lacks something, like the soul is gone. Service was good, attentive and prompt.
I wanted to love this because of all the hype about Momofuku, but our experience was surprisingly blah. The food was good, but nothing to go wild over, and the service was pleasant and professional. We were surprised though, because the physical fixtures in the restaurant were visibly worn and showing age. The wall next to our table was showing wear from patrons' elbows, and the cushion backing of the booths where we were sitting didn't even align with the seating any longer. The whole space felt a little grimy. This is just maintenance stuff they need to pay attention to if they are going to continue to charge these kinds of prices for the food. We went "next door" (inside) to Milkbar for dessert, and it was fine, but the counter was cluttered and the experience didn't feel polished. It was all a bit far from the exceptional attention to detail that I would expect from a restaurant group that has their reputation. The similarly priced RPM Italian just two blocks away is executing the details on a level much, MUCH higher than Momofuku CCDC.
Menu changes were not great. We preferred the previous menu.
We were looking for a casual setting with good food and Momofuku definitely did not disappoint. They have a solid if not expansive wine and beer list and their craft cocktails are well thought out and delicious. We shared two Bing Bread appetizers that were quite good: Cultured Butter; and Chicken Liver Mousse. Small plates that we shared included Hamachi Tartare, Curried Red Beets, and Spicy Cucumber. I loved the Hamachi Tartare and Spicy Cucumber but thought the red beets could use a little more kick. The four of us shared the Branzino and that was quite delicious - perfectly cooked and served with bib lettuce to make wraps - genius!
I will definitely go back and would recommend this restaurant to friends - great food, good prices, and a relaxed atmosphere!
Excellent food and service. Try s Milk Bar desert. Compost cookie - the best.
The chef's tasting menu was delightful, and they went out of their way to accommodate the fact that I cannot tolerate spicy foods (while my husband can). It was a thoroughly enjoyable dinner, and I left well satisfied (and feeling like I'd been schooled in umami!)
Four dishes ordered, four dishes fully enjoyed. Seriously, everything ordered was great. Drinks were delicious. Servers were extremely attentive and courteous. Great dining experience.
Awesome food, good service. It was really worth the money.
This place rocked! Every dish was packed with savory and interesting flavors, we loved them all. The drinks were perfectly balanced and a great compliment to the dishes The service was spot on as were the volume and vibe. We’ll be back.
The food here is simply delicious - one of the best desserts (olive oil cake w/ pineapple) we've ever had. My main of Garlic Noodles w/ crab was spot on. Lively, friendly, casual, sumptuous. Go.
The service was outstanding, the food was not. I was there for brunch so maybe that's why the menu was underwhelming. They ran out of grits for the shrimp so I went for the Momo Bap. It's a rice bowl topped with veggie pickles and an egg. It was so salty, so saturated in gochujang that I had to ask for a plain side of rice to be able to eat it. I finished that rice and still couldn't get through half the pickles on top, and I love salt and pickles. Very small portion to boot and overly priced for what it was. Maybe I'll try again on a weekday.
