Food was fresh as always! Service was polite and paced well. Some of our party arrived early and were sat right away.
Service just seems to get worse with each visit. And this is a “go to” favorite restaurant. But it’s getting tiresome to have such inattentive waitstaff. And this isn’t the first visit it’s been a problem. But it’s first time It’s been bad enough that I needed to write about it
The best sushi I’ve had outside of Japan. Try to sit at the bar in front of the chef.
The food was great and mostly reasonably priced. Good cocktails and good service. They accommodated my gluten free friend easily. I am a vegetarian, which was no problem here! My only real complaint is that it was way too loud. Also, there is a tofu dish “Goma tofu,” that is actually not made from tofu at all, and the menu doesn’t really explain that. I liked it, but I had to look it up later when I got home to figure out what I had eaten was actually made entirely from sesame. All in all, this restaurant is pretty awesome and I am definitely going to go back.
Beautiful space, delicious food and excellent value. The server was friendly and professional. I recommend Momiji for both everyday and special occasion dining.
I really liked this restaurant. The food was delicious and quite reasonably priced. It was busy for a Sunday night, but the service was quick and efficient. My friend and I picked the two sampler menus (Ozen), which included 5 dishes (sashimi, miso soup, tempura, etc.). There is a lovely Japanese garden between the two main dining rooms. I highly recommend this place.
Momiji is one of our favorite restaurants, never disappoints on food and service.
Awesome! I come here for be week. Never disappoints!!
Terrific ambiance and a very extensive menu! Love it!
Fabulous as always! I love pacing of the service and the food is fresh and delightful.
Too loud Had to raise our voices to talk but I thought it was an attractive restaurant and the food and drinks were good. Seemed a good value as well
Creative and very fresh!
Our new favorite sushi restaurant in Seattle. Excellent vegetarian choices. Best of all the places we’ve been
A little rowdy for a quiet date night but fun atmosphere. Service was great, food delicious.
One of the best sushi spots in seattle. Highly recommend
Perfect for a special evening out. Amazing vegan options!
Fantastic fresh food and fun chefs table! The sushi was off the hook and the happy hour is a must!
New to town and happy to discover this place. Really fresh sushi, lots of house choices and original stand buys available. Bigger restaurant than one would’ve think from the front. Noise level good easy to have a conversation without yelling.
We were seated about 5 minutes after checking in at the front. Ordered the Regent Punch cocktail to start with; I wholeheartedly recommend it. We ordered 3 rolls, Tuna Nigiri, and a Miso soup. Overall the food was delicious, and the service was quick and friendly!
Wonderful food...really top notch.
Asked for a garden side table as it was our anniversary and they didn't accommodate. Actually gave us the table next to the service station... :/ but a beautiful resteraunt, all in all. Order the Halibut Cheeks!!!!
My wife was very happy with the timeliness and i was personally impressed by the courteous nature of our server.
Loved the food and also got a nudge to order less and scale up if we still think we are hungry. Actually our server was right after 2 specialty rolls and an appetizer you were pretty full.
I would recommend this to anyone looking to spend some quality time with friends, family or special someone and have some nice sushi on the side.
The service was fantastic, the restaurant was lovely. The food was pretty good, but too expensive for "pretty good" I had expected better for the prices they charged.
Service was great, food is wonderful. Sake is delicious.
I took my daughter here for dinner and we both loved it. Sushi was spot on!!! Delish.
Excellent happy hour in the beautiful courtyard!
Amazing sushi and the price is great too!
I have recommended this restaurant to my friends. The food is excellent as is the service. I have been there a few times now since finding the restaurant in late 2018. We go to Momiji as often as we can. Highly recommended!
Food was delicious, made a reservation and was seated very quickly, got in just before happy hour ended
Very slow service. All of our meals came waaay before the sushi rolls. Refills for beverages was virtually non-existent except for the water guy, who was A+. Food was good but would not return.
Clean, beautiful food, wonderful drinks and fabulous service
They followed my reservation notes and we're helpful with the menu without being overbearing. My partner said the taste was better than Japonessa. I enjoyed everything that we ordered.
I’ve been here a few times in the last few weeks and the service has been lacking each time. The food is good and the ambiance is great but I don’t want to be the forgotten table. Water refills are consistent but that’s it.
The Service was Awesome and the food was Amazing!!
Everything that was ordered was amazing. Service was very slow. Mainly bar service. Drinks ordered showed up almost after dinner was finished. Very crowded seating, we could talk with people sitting next to us. Would return for food. Great pricing for amount of food you receive, with so many options to choose from.
Favorite place to eat in Seattle for special occasions!
My first time and I was impressed. Much better than average miso soup, nice portion of well prepared cod and my son's salad sushi had a lovely vinegrette. When the check came, I was even happier with the meal.
Beautiful inner garden and decor overall was notably classic Japanese. Happy hour is a great value big would stick to the sashimi plates. Service was attentive, thoughtful, and professional.
Everything was great, with two exceptions. We encountered a small difficulty when another person decided to join us; the online reservation system refused to accept the change, without explanation. No one answered a couple of calls, so I finally left a voice mail and we got a call back from someone who took care of the reservation change. The much bigger problem was that our table was in a large open room with a kitchen counter and so high a noise level that we could hardly think, much less converse. This was way, way, way beyond "energetic." It literally hurt. The restaurant was jammed, so changing rooms seemed out of the question. My wife and I have been to Momiji a number of times in the past, but we had never before been seated in that room; I hope we never are again.
