I love MoMed -- been coming here since they opened and have always enjoyed it! Bone marrow, lemon chicken, avocado flatbread, and so many other things. Love catching the train as it rushes by, and it's a great place before/after the theatre.

I had been to Momed before and the service was excellent as before. The food was good, but the chicken was a bit dry. Everything else was tasty and presented well. Portions were good-sized and the ambiance was great.

Wanting a place that was less ordinary with savory and healthy food choices, close enough for lunch but not overrun with a lunch crowd, Momed is my first choice.

Our family New Year’s Day dinner was perfect! Our 2-year old grandson loved all the tastes, especially the pita bread, and the menu accommodated our Vegans, Vegetarians, Seafood lovers, and even the red meat carnivores! Space between tables allowed for conversations and the staff was lovely. We will be back!

Super nice spacious place, pretty slow on a Wednesday, great service, classic cocktails were okay, food was pretty decent. Train goes close by regularly. Great for party events. Totally will recommend it.

We always enjoy Momed (Atwater Village). The patio is beautiful, the food is delicious, and I never feel rushed or crowded. I'm vegan and am happy with the choices available to me.

Cool spot, great lighting, and delicioso food. Momed has excellent vegetarian dishes, even the meatiest eater will love. We had the herbaceous house chicken dish, falafel with avocado hummus, cauliflower special (incredibly flavorful), and the charcuterie plate. Everyone at the table agreed to return soon.

I took my 3 sons and 2 of their spouses for dinner. We don’t get a chance to get together often so we really enjoy talking. We were seated at a long bench type table with bench seats since that’s were they seat parties of 6 or more. I asked if they could push 2 square tables together so we could sit 2 on each side and 1 on each end. The waitress informed us that the owner wouldn’t like that because of the feng shui!!!
I guess our party’s feng shui wasn’t important to them.
The next time I spend $400 to take my kids out to dinner I’ll do it at a place where my feng shui is more important to them than their own!

Excellent ambiance and service. Very good food and value. We tried the Hang-over Meatballs, Salmon Toast and Short Rib Fricasee for brunch this Saturday. Their Short Rib was outstanding, Salmon Toast was very good and meatballs were okay (a little dense). Coffee was very good as well.

I was in a group of 4 people and we all ordered different items; lamb, salad, beef burger, and soup. The soup was terrific, quite a treat. The lamb dish and the burgers were great. I ordered a salad that potentially was very good but it was over dressed to the point that I sent it back. FYI I have never sent anything back before. I know that sounds like a negative but the manager came out to talk to me personally. He apologized and was not dismissive of me. He offered to have the salad remade with the dressing on the side. Unfortunately, I had to make an 8:00 curtain at the theater down the street so I didn't not have it re-made. I only mention this situation because of the professional manner that it was handled. It was a great evening and a fine meal.

Value is lacking, and the all concrete floors and right angles make it loud on a popular night.

Food itself was pretty solid. The duck crostini and Momed chips were a highlight on the appetizer menu. The short rib tagine was a little bland for a tagine, and the fish special was nice but underwhelming for the price.

Loved the unique food but the service could have been better. We were served dishes we had not order and never served dishes we did. I would go back, hoping it was just an off day and not the norm.

SUCH A GREAT RESTAURANT. THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT AND INTERESTING, AS IS THE SPACE. THE TABLES ARE NOT TOO CLOSE TO EACH OTHER AND THERE ARE AREAS WHERE YOU CAN SIT ON COUCHES AND GET COZY. THE SERVICE WAS PERFECT. NOT TOO INVASIVE BUT THERE WHEN WE NEEDED IT. THE COURSES CAME IN GOOD ORDER, AND IT WAS FUN TO HEAR THE METRO GO BY ON OCCASION. WE ARE GOING THROUGH A LIST OF OUT OF THE WAY GREAT RESTAURANTS AND MOMED IS ONE OF OUR TOP 2. WILL DEFINITELY RETURN.

My friends and I went to Momed because we had tickets for the theater next door. Got there early so went to the bar - which has a fantastic selection of scotch and beer. Loved the driftwood-like handles on the draft beer mechanism. The bartender was delightful. The rest of our party arrived so we were seated for dinner. Great octopus appetizer and the salmon and short-ribs were delicious. Great service all around by the staff. I live in El Segundo - so it's a distance to get there - but would go again if we have theater tickets.

very nice restaurant, practically next door to Atwater Village Theatre, where we saw a show after dinner. Loved the 5 dips and olives to start -- there were four of us, and there was tons of food. Soft, fluffy, unusual small pitas. Two of us had salmon, one the fig and arugula flatbread, and the other had the veggie tagine. All were excellent -- very large portions. Good wine, well defined by the server, as were all of the dishes. Flourless chocolate cake really good. Be warned, though -- the train goes by frequently -- very loud, but short and then it is gone. We sort of got used to it.

it's a great place with great food. Here's a TOTALLY HIDEOUS PROBLEM that will likely make me not return here. It's impossible to see the menu. Both times I've come I prop my phone on a wine glass which last time dropped and splashed my blouse with red wine because it's not possible to read the menu. It's extremely annoying and the waiters sort of shrug and all around me people are having the same issue. It really sucks, there is one or two tiny candles for a huge table and it runined our meal. I'm not coming back unless you can tell me it changed plus my blouse is ruined.

the noise level sucks it's far too loud but not much you can do with concrete floors and walls. I like the ambiance actually but the lack of light is too much to bear.
