I love the food here. We got Michael as our waiter again and he is so amazing, fast and accommodating. Superb waiter.
We had the prawns, roasted eggplant, dumplings, Momed plate, Orata, chicken skewers, and veggie tajine. Everything was great and very tasty. Festive atmosphere; sit on patio if you can.
Gorgeous oasis in an unexpected space, and so perfect on a warm evening. The energy level might be on high but it's not overwhelming. Feel like a mini holiday. Food is consistently delicious, as are the cocktails.
Great service, staff, food and beautiful interior.
Food was good. Caught "Dagnasterpus" band just coming out of their Covid cocoon. They set the place on fire with energy from their original music and terrific covers.
Delicious, friendly, romantic. A special evening.
Amazing food and ambiance!
Thought we had a patio table, but we’re given indoors - didn’t even know they were taking indoors - spoke to a human for rez, human didn’t mention indoors/outdoors, but hostess said we should have made the choice on the website…ok, kinks to be worked out as we emerge…
Great ambience. Amazing outdoor dining experience. Delicious food, not overpriced.
Momed was a sleepy Atwater high end eatery for years, and after Covid - they transformed themselves into a culinary hotspot. We went there on a Saturday Night,
and the place was packed. I'm so glad they survived this pandemic, because the people
are really nice and the cuisine is amazing. Make a rezzie, or you may not get a table.
Our dinner at Momed was delicious and the service was top-notch, highly recommend.
I had not been to Momed for several years because I had moved out of LA. But was really glad to be back and was still impressed with the food and the service. The restaurant was very busy on a Saturday night even though we had an early reservation. Was just about perfect for catching up with friends I hadn’t seen in awhile.
Just me but I don't care for loud music at a restaurant. Impedes conversation.
OK I guess if you don't want to talk to the person you're with but then why take them to a fine restaurant.
Nice ambiance. Good food. Would go back for brunch
Music playing in the bar area overwhelmed conversation.
I've been going here to years.
I have to say, the food has become a bit over priced for what it is. The waitstaff seemed like they couldn't be bothered. Listen, if you're going to but a 90 minute time limit on a table, you should be more attentive!
Fantastic service and ambiance with amazing flavors and overall experience! We can’t wait to return 👏🏽💜🥂
Thanks! We had a great time :)
Lovely patio, a few superb dishes—shrimp, pluot salad—excellent wine, and good people (and dog) watching. Momed feels more like the Arts District than Atwater.
The Brussel Sprouts and Drinks were to die for, and the ambience is really nice!
Simply wonderful, warm service. Delicious food and great drink options.
Great food, excellent service pretty noisy, though
Very friendly and attentive waitstaff. Food was fantastic and great cocktails.
One of our favorite restaurants! Great food and service.
The service, food and setting were all great. I would recommend that the restaurant carry a good California Chardonnay on the wine list.
Fantastic Mediterranean food and great ambiance. Large outdoor eating space
Great food and great service. Thank you!
I always love Momed, one of my favorite restaurants. It is so nice to be back there.
All the food was amazing. Ambience was nice but gets loud when the train goes by.
Excellent service and food
Appetizers are very good. Salads and entrees are overpriced for what you get. Service is hit or miss and rather frustrating on a “miss” day. Basics of service fall apart (ie. bringing silverware 5 mins after they drop food at the table). The patio dining makes for a nice experience. We never leave totally unsatisfied as the flavors are nice and the ambiance is good, but service lacks attention to detail. We have given the benefit of the doubt a couple of times because of Covid staffing, but the staff doesn’t seem trained to observe customer needs, which keeps them running back an forth when you have to ask for obvious things or they forget something in your order. We’ll probably still come back from time to time, but the service is what will keep us from becoming regulars.
Food was delicious. Our server was attentive. The only drawback was, sitting inside, the music was too loud to hold a conversation and hear around a table of six.
Momed is a fantastic restaurant. With primarily outdoor seating under a tall canopy, the ambience is comfortable/casual yet still low-key chic; very California! I’ve been here for brunch and dinner, and the food’s been spot-on every time. Great cocktails and reliable service. This is a great place for a date, friend meal, or to take out of town guests. Can’t go wrong!
Tables a little too close together for comfort - cheek to jowl with strangers at big communal tables. Didn’t feel very COVID safe.
delicious, friendly and bustling on a Friday night
I love this place. A 10 in my book. The place to be if you like tequila or mezcal!
Such an unfortunate first time at this restaurant I'd heard good things about. The food was fine, but the service was just unacceptable. It took 1hr45 to get our food. And once we received our drinks, we never saw our server again until a few minutes before our food came when he apologized that it took so long because it got put in at the same time as a 12 top. It's a fairly large space, so it was surprising that a 12 top could bring down the entire night in the kitchen. I have some understanding for food taking awhile on a busy night, but we were never asked if we'd like to order another drink, we'd long run out of water, etc...
The food was good, but I couldn't possibly recommend that anyone go here after that experience.
Thank you for consistently having outstanding food and service. Having a rough day? A reason to celebrate? Whatever the occasion this is one of our top 3 picks. The location is weird but I'd buy a house there just to eat here more often.
Really delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. Would definitely eat here again.
Amazing! Funny staff, engaging service, great cocktails, fun environment.
