We enjoyed the meal, the service, and the atmosphere. We're planning our return trip now.
Great ambiance and love that it is not on a busy street. The sitting area was kept warm with heaters which was great since it was raining all day. They allow dogs so if Fido behaves bring them over. The food was delicious, it’s not something you can find on everyday restaurants. Portions are big enough to share for two people so be aware. The cooking methods really captured the food of the regions.
Great service
Delicious food
Nice ambience
I've been to Momed numerous times due to their proximity to Atwater Village Theater. They always do a great job and I enjoy meeting friends there for pre-show dinner or drinks. Newcomers always seem impressed so it's generally where I recommend meeting.
Really love this place! Great food, nice friendly atmosphere, easy parking.
I love this restaurant! Not took loud, beautiful designed, attentive staff, and food is always amazing! Whenever I have out of town guests I take them here and they love it!
This is a great casual restaurant that is perfect for sharing some small plates and wine.
We were there in a Tuesday night, guess what...half priced wine from the wine list.
Fantastic in every way. Great ambiance delicious food and stellar service. We miss Momed Beverly Hills and hope there is or soon will be a location in the BH WeHo area.
The food is always delicious and the service is always wonderful but last night I feel like our server was a little more amiable than servers usually care to be and we all really appreciated that. We had one of the specials, a gnocchi type pasta filled with meat and it was probably the stand out dish of the night.
We come here whenever we come to the theater nearby and we’re always glad we did. The food is great, tonight it was Lamberger, grandma‘s chicken soup and Cleopatra salad. Highly recommend all three. Also the endive salad is great. They used to be a very snarky guy at reception but thankfully he seems to be gone.
Just a fabulous place with delicious food and friendly service,
Love that the owners know you by name and greet you personally.
Five Stars of Five
Great food, great atmosphere! Highly recommend for drinks and appetizers at the bar, date night or a large party!
Another great meal with wonderful service at Momed! The brussel sprouts are my fave and I always look forward to that dish. yumm!
I have enjoyed wonderful meals here for years. First the good news: The ambiance is wonderful, clean, modern, warm, stylish. Presentation is beautiful. Front of house staff is lovely, bussing crew as well. Delicious wine, lovely lighting.
Now the exception: Monday evening was a bit of a disappointment. As per many restaurants these days, our three dishes were delivered with nearly 20 minutes between the Brussels Sprouts which arrived first followed by the Endive Salad 5 minutes after that. Our server came over to see how our food was to notice the Street Corn had not arrived. A significant gap preceded it's eventual arrival.
The Endive Salad was tasty, if not a bit heavy on the Balsamic. The eventual Street Corn was good. The Sprouts were overwhelmed with vinegar. We ate most of it, as I LOVE vinegar, but even then it was too heavy even for me. Most of it was eaten waiting for the corn. Had it arrived earlier, or had there been a check in sooner,(The first came on the heels of the arrival of the second dish, the first untasted until the arrival of the second) I would have sent it back. Our hunger, and the enjoyment of the delicious Austin Hope Cab, prevented the rejection.
I look forward to another wonderful meal at Momed, like the several I have had in the past.
What a fantastic find! We stumbled across Momed doing some Yelp searching for something in this area. What an incredible GEM! The indoor/outdoor ambiance is unique and very special. The service was super friendly and attentive. Most importantly, the food was spectacular! Momed takes a unique and upscale twist on Mediterranean food which takes it to a whole new level!!
Excellent food, service and ambiance! We thoroughly enjoyed the birthday dessert!
We had a wonderful experience at Momed! The food ans service were great.
Gorgeous atmosphere, excellent food and service- what a delightful surprise to fine such a convivial and charming restaurant in such an unassuming location. Great stop for the theatre patrons in Atwater Village.
I'm a regular at Momed. I've been there many times and always enjoy my meal there. Great vibe to the place, great service great environment.
Lovely place, will definitely return.
Loved everything I had. One suggestion: more Middle Eastern dishes on the menu.
Since Momed BH has closed, Momed Atwater Village is now our go-to place.
Lunch. So yummy!
I used to love Momed & frequented it. A few years later, it was still ok but expensive. The grilled octopus remained a reason to dine.
In recent years, the restaurant got expensive ... fine dining is expensive.
Tonight’s meal was terrible. The Moroccan shrimp were overcooked to rubber. The pita bread was heated to a crisp & that wasn’t what was intended for it.
The cost for 3 was identical to Hippo in Highland Park or Osen Izakaya in Silver Lake which are terrific. Momed no longer is.
Fabulous!
The food was absolutely delicious, and each dish I traduces something out of the ordinary. We especially loved the eggplant nikra (sp??), the crispy artichokes, the meatballs, and the Moroccan shrimp. We’ll have to go back to try everything else.
The service was outstanding. Our waiter was very nice, and attentive without being intrusive.
It was a relaxing space, with tables far enough apart that we couldn’t hear other conversations, and the decor was casual, yet special.
I would recommend this restaurant unreservedly.
Excellent even with a large party ongoing while we were there
One of our favorite places in LA. We make a point of going for brunch every time we visit. Wonderful open space, great vibe and friendly, accommodating service. Very kid friendly for brunch. Food is lovely and the cocktails terrific!
The food is always excellent and for some reason it feels like you've left LA, even with trains occasionally
going by. Staff is welcoming and attentive.
Always the most fresh high quality food prepared beautifully
Restaurant is almost all outdoors. Very small actual indoor space. Waiter would not provide separate checks. We asked to speak to the manager and he then said he would divide it up at bill time. In fact he did not, and there was a delay as he had to figure out what each of us had ordered. It basically ruined the meal.
The food is good, but I think overpriced for what you get.
Trains are on a track just behind, and I mean 5 feet behind, the restaurant. There is a screen which prevents you from seeing the train. The first train was frightening but then as we became accustomed to the constant din of trains it got better. When a long freight train came by the noiuse was deafening for a few minutes.
If you do not mind overpaying and are splitting the bill with another couple and do not mind overpaying, the food and ambiance is pleasant.
We always enjoy this local gem. They’ve steadily improved the atmosphere and menu and we love it!
Perfect place to meet up with friends and family to enjoy a great meal
This is my favorite restaurant in LA. The food is always exquisite and the atmosphere is ideal--tranquil, beautiful space.
Come for the Greek wines and stay for the delicious mezza and the chilled out vibe. I've been coming here off and on since they opened and always enjoyed it, but this last visit, the food made a big jump in deliciousness and the wine list improved.
Always a great time there -food is great -I LOVE the cleopatra salad , mojo potatoes & Meze dips sampler. Chill vibe , very casual.
Always a fun choice for an evening out with friends. Great service, fresh and delicious food, and great cocktails!
Just discovered this gem in Atwater Village and had a truly wonderful dinner. Patrick, our server, was terrific and walked us through the menu making various recommendations which turned out very well. Will definitely be back.
3 of us shared 5 items, all delicious!
Fabulous fresh food, nice wine list and delightful service. I highly recommend it!
A few of my friends and I had our yearly meet up while we were back home. Momed was the perfect place to enjoy s meal on a patio and had a wonderful selection of vegetarian options we all shared!
