About Molino's Ristorante
At Molino's Ristorante, owner and native Italian Kanuccio Purisico captivates diners with a menu of mouthwatering Northern Italian fare. Dishes of calamari fritti, and clams oreganato entice appetites, and burbling waterfalls beckon outdoors as patrons find themselves in sunny Adriatic here in beautiful Bonita Springs. Our culinary team dazzle guests with authentic dishes such as the lambata di vitello alla griglia, a grilled veal chop accessorized with hot cherry peppers and mushrooms, or the rollatine melanzane, ricotta cheese rolled into thinly sliced eggplant and topped with tomato sauce. For those searching for ocean-fresh seafood try our salmone onde e terra, a cut of broiled salmon luxuriously lounging in a rich cognac sauce with a posse of peas, prosciutto, and mushrooms.

Molino's Ristorante Ratings and Reviews
Our table had two veal dishes that were poor in quality. Veal was breaded and fried and tough. Veal pieces were quite small and overlooked. Both dishes were unappetizing.
One diner requested sauce on the side as opposed to on the meat and the platter came drenched in sauce. The restaurant was busy service was slow to approach table initially and maintained slow response time. Usually this is not the case at this establishment but over the last month the food quality has noticeably deteriorated
Always enjoy our dining at Molino’s ! The Italian food is one of the best here in Florida! We come for dinner & also bring friends to enjoy! Nice atmosphere for Special occasions! Great food & wine & the staff is always friendly & great service! Will always recommend!
First of all, I was hoping to find a new place to put on my list of regular restaurants. However, we were seated at a table for 2 next to a high wall, which separated the kitchen from the dining area. Felt claustrophobic. A waiter came to take drink orders. I drink Jack and diet 7-up, but will take Sprite if I have to. They had no 7-up or Sprite of any kind. This was a Saturday night! So, I couldn't get a simple drink. Their Spiedini appetizer, which is why I was looking forward to going there, was mostly bread in an orange liquid that tasted of neither anchovies nor capers. It was like eating a sponge. The main courses, eggplant parm and veal parm were served on a plate with very overcooked pasta. The red sauce was a cut above ketchup. No pieces of tomato or spices were visible. The cheese that was placed on the top was probably Polly-O. Normally, both of these dishes are baked in a ceramic baking dish that is placed in an oven to melt and brown the fresh mozzarella cheese. The pasta is typically served on the side. Not at thisplace! This was a total disappointment. At one point I thought I might have been in a retirement home dining room with plain, dull food. Sbarros is better.
We keep going back for the food and the staff, but the last few times have been inconsistent. Half moon ravioli's are sometimes square and taste off. Bread feels stale . The air conditioner has not worked properly since we were there in July! Staff is still wonderful, but with so many other Italian options close by(and one right across the sidewalk) we may look to dine elsewhere next time. Sad.. we have been going there for years.
Formal decor, quiet atmosphere in off-season. Server did a great job. Very friendly and helpful with menu selections.
Food was fresh and wine selections were good. Appetizer was not prepared as described and was somewhat disappointing.
Would have been much better if prepared in a more traditional Italian style. Entree was very good. Fresh vegetables and good ricotta made a plentiful serving of eggplant rollitini a delightful selection. My wife's entree was equally good with fresh and tasty shrimp over pasta. Nicely prepared. My dessert cannoli was not as expected. I would have preferred one filled in a more traditional style with creamy slightly sweet ricotta, chocolate and citrus zest. Unfortunately, it's filling was a thick and highly sugary blend that was not very pleasant. Overall dinnerc was pleasant, but some dishes needed improvement.
Didn't have Titos vodka. Didn't have wines on menu. Ordered Dover Sole; fish was good but came swimming in butter sauce. Should have been on the side. Linguini in clam
sauce dry. Food was served on smokin hot plates. we like room temperature plates; waiter should tell you before ordering. Music was too loud and electric rock during last part of meal. We felt like they wanted us to leave and close up.
Nicola was a wonderful waiter. Food here is consistently good & very close to Italy, much more than the other Italian - American red sauce places around. Veal Francese was excellent, baked clams also. Plus they don't have an "attitude" here like at DeRomo's
Both chicken entrees (Milanese & Cream Mushroom sauce) were cooked exquisitely to perfection. The marinara sauce was also delicious. The desserts were equally delicious. Our server was attentive, professional, courteous & informative. We are looking forward to frequently dining at Molino's in the future for perfectly prepared meals. Fine dining at it's finest.
