The food is exceptional, and the service was very good – Katrina K – Yelp
Excellent food! Made with al natural ingredients and very flavorful. Would highly recommend.
If you are looking for Americanized Indian food this is a great spot. Rice portions are small so just ask for more.
Bizarre ambiance - no music, sat everyone crunched together in tiny tables. Seemed disastrously understaffed. Service was effectively by request only, and then only when we shouted to get someone’s attention.
Food was very good Indian, but nothing unexpected or unique. Prices are fair.
Food is very good. Not a lot of explanation regarding menu items for a first time visitor. Service good.
They were out of kebabs and some lamb dishes on Valentine's day, was disappointing.
We went on Valentines Day, it was pretty busy so it took longer than expected to get our food. The service was great though. One of our meals had cooled down before we got it, after mentioning the problem they took it back and brought back what seemed like a freshly cooked dish and offered a free drink in compensation. The food was delicious, we really appreciated that they worked hard to make sure we enjoyed our meal.
We had a lovely time - great atmosphere, very clean and well kept. Service was super friendly and efficient and all the servers had good knowledge of the menu and various choices we could make. The food itself was delicious and not your typical Indian schtick. We'll be back!
Restaurant is beautiful, fun seating & decor. Food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Looking forward to coming back.
Restaurant was closed Thanksgiving Day, even though Open Table allowed us to make the reservation, and the restaurant’s website said they were open. Very disappointed.
Some things have changed since we were last at Moksha. Everything was fine but our favorite lamb biranyi was different. Probably won't be back.
Food was very good and service was friendly. Would definitely recommend.
Excellent host, friendly, offering great service, even adapting the meals to our small requests.
This is an American restaurant pretending to serve authentic Indian food. Most Indian restaurants are much better in the area. They should revamp the menu, change the chefs and replace the servers to be more authentic. It is too expensive and definitely not a recommended place to visit
I was surprised to find the restaurant was only 1/3 full on a Saturday evening. Service was good and quick, and the food was ok - good flavor, but the chicken was tough.
Excellent food quality and has a great atmosphere. For the decor and choice of furniture and overall ambiance, they've gone the extra mile. Reasonable prices too.
Great food! .authentic Indian cuisine ..turned out to be much better that I had expected ..must try
Very good food preparation and terrific flavors and textures. Service was good, helpful and attentive.
Pleasant atmosphere, friendly service, and delicious food. Definitely would like to go back and try different dishes.
Delicious, good service, etc.
The food lacked flavor and heat, but overall a good experience.
The food was just alright. We prefer our food on the less spicy end and that was only taken into account on one dish even though we ordered the same thing, just with different proteins. The server was very kind though and did bring us complimentary rice pudding at the end of our meal. The restaurant was nearly empty despite it being a Saturday night.
Enjoyable. Would go back.
Sitting was a bit uncomfortable , prefer regular chairs and table. A bit too dark. Out of the wine we wanted to order.
Great location, nice décor, but the food was just not very good. Sauces seemed full of thickeners and didn't see very authentic. This place is surrounded by legit Indian so look elsewhere.
Food, server, and atmosphere were wonderful. The hostess sat us in a tiny table next to the wall. We asked if we could sit at a larger table she said no even though there was only a few other people in the restaurant. We asked the server if there was another table we could sit at because we were uncomfortable and she said sure no problem. Other than the hostess everything was amazing.
Went for Christmas Eve's dinner today; after couple years. I recalled the great experience I had last time.
It was a disappointment and don't think I will go again. Few good things- the food was not bad and the service was fairly quick.
A lot of not so good things to mention- the server made mistakes in serving the appetizers and the main course. We were served dishes that we didn't order. For the appetizers, the quantity was not acceptable at all. The spinach pakoras were very little for a full order. The tandoori chicken sizzle me we ordered had these tiny pieces and tiny leg pieces, that looked like mini samplers and felt like a joke. U have never seen such small pieces in a tandoori chicken. The main entrees- chicken tikka masala, lamb and paneer tikka masala were served in bowls with three plates with rice in each plate. We were six and had ordered 3 entrees thinking of sharing, but it looked like the serving was very less and was served in a way that we were expected to order 6 entrees, one per person. I have never seen this in any restaurant in the US. So basically the rice was served in the plates and was very little, we couldn't share that. The entrees had very little chicken, lamb and paneer.
At the very end when the server brought the check, she insisted that the tip is set to 18% and we just need to sign. It felt like a forceful and rude gesture. I feel like we were forced to pay 18%; I didn't want to spoil the mood and raise a concern there and then.
Overall though I feel the taste of the food was nice but the restaurant failed delivering on multiple fronts- be it the quantity of the expected food, the service and the behavior of the server.
Also just FYI- the restaurant has stopped accepting Prime card for holidays, which was a rude shock since they accept Prime card on other days.
Have eaten at the restaurant many times---always attentive service and outstanding Indian food, at a reasonable price. Best Indian cuisine in Seattle area!
Food was very good but we felt very rushed. Could be the time of year in Bellevue Square with Snowflake Lane making things so busy. We had planned for a leisurely dinner, but even with our slower pace and conversation, we ended up there for only an hour. Food came very quickly, which would probably be good if you were headed to a movie - just not what we were looking for. Service was polite, but also seemed distracted.
The food was okay, but not as good as an authentic Indian restaurant. Pricing was reasonable and ambience was nice and relatively quiet, but the staff was lacking in friendliness and competence. I mentioned the reservation via opentable to the hostess and she blew me off and seated us, then came back to the table a few minutes later to ask what the name was on the reservation. So strange! Then, when I was trying to use my opentable dining reward, the waitress took my cell phone (which had the coupon details) and placed it on the bar and walked away from it, leaving my cell phone open and unattended!!!! This is the lack of competence part. Then she had no idea how to use the coupon and almost would not accept it. Needless to say, we will NOT be going back. There are better places, would not recommend spending your time or money here.
This was my second time dining there. I really like the food but the service was horrible the last time I was there + the credit card system was down.
I recommend more staff and/or making sure all tables are good to go.
Uninterested wait staff, and I think the meat was cooked without the sauce and added afterword, not cooked in the sauce as I believe it is supposed to be.
Our favorite stop for Indian. Food is delish, service always polite and prompt. Try it!
I had the chicken tikka masala thali plate and garlic naan. The garlic naan was good. The tikka masala could not compare with what I've had at authentic little hole-in-the-wall restaurants for a fraction of the cost. Even store bought tikka masala sauce over home-cooked chicken is better.
Our server never checked back for additional drinks (could have made more $).
The thing about the restaurant that I did like was all the cool seating we saw other groups gathered around...big soft booth-like chair seating around tables. The restaurant has potential. I won't be back any time soon.
We had a great server (unfortunately, I don’t remember his name) who was knowledgeable about the food on the menu. However, he did accidentally charge us for an extra naan.
The only bad thing was that the drinks, while tasty, were not strong at all.
It was very enjoyable and I would definitely dine again!
It's a nice restaurant and good service. The food was disappointing. The butter chicken a chicken Tikka Masala lacked flavor, and the checks. Was clearly not marinated in the respective sauces...tasted like it's tandoori chicken chunks that are thrown into the sauce at the last minute. The daals clearly were not slow cooked and lacked any depth of flavor as a result (just water).
It's a nice looking restaurant in a good location, but this is not real Indian food made with care or pride. It's too bad.
Something was going on in the kitchen, as in a very loud pounding noise. It was so irritating, I couldn't wait to finish and leave. The staff was extremely nice though. And restaurant was nice looking with good food.
Delicious Indian food, decent wine and beer options, and attentive staff made for a very nice Mother's Day celebration. This was our 3rd or 4th visit--always good.
This is not good Indian food. Just not. Service is below average. Most of the severs don't even know what they are serving. I will not be going back by my own choice.
My first time eating at this restaurant. It had a very strong incense that was almost nauseating. The food was delicious and I’m glad I tried it. The waitress/hostess was borderline rude. Her demeanor was very off putting. When she was ringing up the charge, she didn’t even address me and my party. She just computed what she needed to and then put the tablet in front of the person paying.
Background music is a bit loud. Other than that it is great experience overall!
