Saturday - Sunday: 11:00am - 10:00pm
Everything was great for our party of 6 except for that the plates all came out at different times and my friend never even got her pancakes until everyone else was almost done with brunch. That was disappointing
Never can go wrong here!
The server, Sky, made our 25th anniversary dinner, an awesome and memorable dinner! The food is always delicious and can't wait to go back again!
The food and service are always fantastic! We come here often and are never disappointed! The employees know the menu and drinks extremely well! They can help you, if you need help. This is a real gem in the neighborhood!
The food was bad. Some dishes were extremely salty. We waited for about an hour for one dish, but the waitress kept telling us it's coming and wanted us to order something else while waiting for that dish.
Great for Brunch. The Eggs Benedict with house-made English muffin, shrimp cake and spicy hollandaise made for a perfect bite. Love the small bites - Kimchi pancakes and kale chips. Offers full menu in addition to their brunch menu.
Love their take on eggs benedict w/shrimpcake. Biscuits and gravy always pleases and the not-your-average bagel + lox was deemed 'fantastic' by our German guest. Service was impeccable as always.
The food was outstanding. For some reason on this particular night service must of been short handed, very slow and not as responsive as previous times.
It’s a really interesting menu but it is hard to navigate to determine what to order. It would be great is it could be better catagorized.
Yet another stellar meal at Mokomandy. As always, food, service, and cocktails were top notch. Thanks for another great experience!
Loved the food but longed for several clean fresh plant based options.
So glad we found this place! Unusual Korean-Cajun flavors, great format with small dishes that could be share (and they happily accommodated our request to add a fourth dumpling -- with adjusted price, of course -- because we were 4). We will go back just for the shaved catfish with great sauce, enormous Korean ribs, and those foie gras dumplings! Only tiny complaint: some dishes were a tad too salty.
We are coming from D.C. and we like to make the trek about once a month. When the food is good, it is outstanding. On our last visit, the food was good overall, but there were some misses. Octopus/Pork belly and jambalaya were fantastic. Cucumber salad and pot roast sliders unfortunately were not as good as we've had in the past.
Our server--Laura--was awesome as usual.
Still one of our favorite restaurants, we wish they could be more consistently great.
Will hi again. Food was exquisite!
Great find in a random location. Recommend the sliders, ssam, dumplings and deviled eggs. Good selection of cocktails and beer/wine
As always, impeccable service from Laura. Food was very good, tasty and terrific value.
really interesting food, presentation of food, excellent service, and value for the money. The service was superb. Even though it was a 30 minute drive in only light traffic, we'll be back.
Loved the ambiance and our server Laura! Food was good but definitely expected more out of some dishes. Drinks and desserts amazing!
What a great experience and extremely good food! I love this place.
Mokomandy is a favorite of all my family - especially my 18 yr old grandson,. Matt. My daughter and Matt were driving through VA on their way north to settle in my grandson for his first year in college. Where else to celebrate but Mokomandy?!!!! As always the dinner was great and the service was perfect. Thanks!
Our server Skye was wonderful. She made us feel right at home and was very knowledgeable about the menu. Highly recommended.
One of the best restaurants I have tried in some months. The food is very interesting with wonderful flavors. The option of small plates lets you try many dishes. I can't wait to return and sample more of their interesting menu. The lettuce wraps were a treat. Modern décor and ambience. Staff were helpful in navigating their wonderful menu. Love it !!
Took a drive out from Arlington based on the reviews I'd seen. I wasn't disappointed. The location is a little odd, as you wouldn't expect such a culinary experience in the middle of a strip mall, but don't be fooled. The place is not very big, has a pretty casual appearance, and is buzzing during dinner time, but the main attraction is the food. It's surprising that a combination of Korean and Cajun (not fusion, mind you; just both cuisines) can work so well together, but they do. Everything we tried was excellent, from small and medium plates to cocktails. The only sad part was that we couldn't order everything on the menu. We'll definitely be back.
Outstanding as usual! Our favorite restaurant!
Our first time, but we will be back! Cocktails are adventurous, food was unique and tasty, service was A+!
Fun for our lively birthday group!
Love the food and great service!! So far it's one of our favorite restaurants!!
We have liked this place from its start. The food has only gotten better and the service is consistently superior. We saw them on Check Please and it was a great experience to see them do well. We were around when they started and have only gotten better.
Mokomandy is a restaurant you visit to enjoy remarkable food with family and friends, and this last visit was no exception with great food from start to finish. Laura, our server, was amazing, making the meal all the better. Wish they had more space because it's loud when they've got a full house.
Best restaurant in the DC area! The variations on Korean and New Orleans fusion must be experienced, and don't forget to try the Pork Belly and Octopus skewers!
Horrible experience! Poor quality food, overpriced wine, noise and dirty place, flies around my table!
Service was excellent, the meal was even better. Bulgogi is A-Mazing!
This was our second time going to Mokomandy, never can go wrong by going here. Overall the food is with the drive to try an non-traditional Korean.
Always innovative and superb. Wish we could visit more often. We drive 80 miles to dine!! Creativity is a strong suit. The Caviar small plate is awesome
Service is great. Sky was very nice and helpful with suggestions. The drink menu is one of the best I have seen.
Wonderful experience every time. Our favorite restaurant. Brought friends who never been before and they loved it too.
Extraordinary menu, impeccable service, in a very low-key, comfortable setting. No downside to this amazing restaurant. Reservations recommended.
Visited on a Sunday for a combo birthday/anniversary dinner and noted this on open table when making the reservation. No “happy bday” etc from anyone at the restaurant. I don’t care about free bday desserts but they missed an opportunity to make us feel special as we had chosen them for a special night.
Food was good but not great. Inventive, which is a nice change from all the de rigeur restaurants. Lobster sandwich was a waste of $18. Perhaps 1 oz of lobster meet on the whole thing.
Jambalaya, pine nut/spinach snack, pot roast sliders were great.
Crime brûlée was amazing, pot de creme was covered in a watery milk foam which ruined the rich chocolate flavor.
Cocktails were great-Julia was sweet and talented. Made us a special cocktail she created. Our server was excellent.
Seating is weird. Chairs are too low for the tables but that might be because the cushioning on them is old and flattening.
Value was good and we will be back, just not quite as eager though.
We enjoyed our dinner at Mokomandy last month so much we returned with different friends on Sunday and it didn't let us down. Almost everything we ordered was outstanding, delicious and fresh. We ordered a lot! Almost all of it was from the Korean side of the menu. We left very happy, stuffed to the gills, and with a bill of about $50 per couple, including some drinks. The only dish that was a little less than perfect was the firecracker carrots. The flavor was great but they had used the mini bag carrots that always seem tough - would have been better with whole carrots cut into smaller pieces. The bulgogi and the kimchi pancakes were my favorites. Our Korean friend declared the kimchi excellent. We'll go back!!!
The dishes offered were outstanding and unique. Our server, Laura, was amazing. Great dining experience.
