Great vegan options. Loved the neighborhood and vibe.
Great happy hour and great food!! Will have to go back soon! Pizzas are so good. Great deals on drinks and some of the menu for happy hour. Cool ambiance inside. Outside seating as well.
ALWAYS LOVE EATING AND HANGING OUT AT THE BEND. GREAT CASUAL ATMOSPHERE. OVERALL GREAT PLACE. AMBIENCE. SCENE. THE BUFFALO CAULIFLOWER IS A MUST.
Met here because it was close to Dodger Stadium & we were going to the game. Food choices were pretty good. Not many people there for an hour before game time so not sure why??? Definitely a place for the under 40 crowd. Coffee wasn’t good & only offered very hot & spicy Bloody Marys so I passed. But the vodka & OJ was tasty. Worth a try.
Great food. Great service. It was joint birthday for me and my dad, everything was perfect appetizers to dessert. Love the amount of vegan and regular foods, not enough places accommodate both diets with stuff you actually want to eat, let alone be delicious. Stellar spot.
Thank you, food and customer service was awesome!!!!!!!
We had a party of 7 with 2 energetic children. We had a large space that allowed an opportunity for the 3 year old to dance to “Boogie Shoes.” The waiters were pleasant and the food was delivered in a timely manner. Our vegan participants were delighted with the options offered.
Lovely server and delish food. Service was great and love the space. Will be back!
Service was bubbly but not intuitive or attentive. Food took forever coming out of the kitchen even though it wasn't busy, and quality was poor. Switched to the bar after brunch and service was outstanding. Good for drinks and pretty cocktails, but NOT a place for great food.
one of my favorite places to eat in LA. Great food, not even vegan and I love their vegan food! And extensive beer collection. A must hit.
Service was standard. Not all staff can be happy all the time I understand but our server clearly wanted to be elsewhere
Mohawk was great this time, as it was the last. I have to admit though, I like to be seated in the back room, as opposed to right next to the hostperson.
Good drinks and beers, but the food was mediocre. Our taco’s corn tortillas were dry. The chicken in the fried chicken sandwich was not moist and the breading was completely falling off. The dessert was not good. The waiter told us it was blueberry cobbler and it ended up being nectarine. The fruit was underripe, lacking any sweetness and the crust was burnt in some places and undercooked in others. The ice cream was good, but failed to salvage the dish. Wait staff was very attentive and helpful.
Had a nice family brunch. Food good, service was a little slow. One guest didn't care for their meal and the server was able to get them an alternate and didn't charge for the alternate or the original meal which was very nice. Alternate just took a long time to come but they were very busy. Would recommend they add valet parking for Sunday brunch as parking was indeed a big hassle.
Excellent food served by friendly attentive staff. Thumbs up!
We have a new favorite place. Great food. Love the idea that the menu says that the selections are presumed to be vegan. If an item is not vegan, only then is there a notation. Great service. Fun atmosphere.
Fun place to watch the World Cup Game and get good food. Also, glad they were able to accommodate our baby with a high chair
Always delicious, server has been there for years and luckily she was ours again, lots of options, especially for vegans, back room is my fav but long shared table and bar area seems fun too.
*buffalo cauliflower is #1
Relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Food was good, although some dishes a touch on the expensive side. Staff at the door seemed unorganized and even with a booking we had to wait for our table. Overall a good place for a meal.
Fantastic food for vegans and non-vegans alike. Awesome room with brick walls be and skylights - really beautiful. Highly recommend!
Everything was great, and it was nice to eat somewhere that wasn’t strictly vegan or non-vegan.
Made a reservation. Got seated no problem. Food was great!
Good vegan options in a cool setting. Kid friendly
It's a mediocre place. We had a mediocre meal. Parking was difficult. The wood burning fireplace in the back room is a real plus.
Best usage of the Impossible Burger I’ve personally experienced! Looking forward to coming back for more!
Delectable vegan dishes. I will definitely eat here again.
best Pizza in town for a vegan. I like the ambiente and friendly people inside.
Found Mohawk Bend while searching for places to take my visiting in-laws - she is a vegan & he is a beer lover - PERFECT SPOT! We all loved it, from the friendly service to the hip ambiance, to the amazing beers (and ciders) on tap to the varied and delicious food options - I think I may have found my new fave LA eats spot.
My wife and I were recommended Mowhawk Bend by a friend who used to live in the area, and it did not disappoint. This reserved dinner was our second time at the restaurant, and it provided us an unforgettable evening. The food was excellent, the staff was courteous and friendly without being invasive, and we felt very relaxed for my wife's birthday/valentine's date. Thanks for a lovely night! We will be back, and recommend it to others.
Took my wife out for Valentine’s Day she vegetarian and this restaurant was perfect for the both of us they had vegan and non vegan options we had the angry Mac and cheese all vegan and it was delicious plus they have really good beer we tried the City of death
Decent vegan food. Very fun environment but we had a quiet table in the back.
The service was trash! We waited approximately 20 minutes for someone to at least offer us water. We had to ask for help. When we asked for help the waiter for help, she went to ask for another waiter. I would have been more understanding if it was busy, but it wasn’t. Absolutely terrible service.
Was looking for a place to have lunch with a vegan friend close to DTLA. Found Mohawk Bend and really glad I did. The space was lovely, the service was on point, and the food was outstanding. My friend had the Impossible Burger, I had the fried chicken sandwich and we both were quite satisfied with our choices. Definitely going to add The Bend to my lunch rotation.
$17 for a veggie burger is a little insane. Especially when for some reason ours were half the size of the table next door... strange. Other than that great veg options, and good cocktails.
Sat us right on time, nice environment, friendly staff, will come back.
we love the friendly service. Their food is great. This is our 3rd time to be there and we love coming back.
We can't wait to go back! The food was amazing! The party next to us had the pepperoni pizza (vegan) and I haven't stopped thinking about it. I can't wait to go back and try it. We did the chili cheese fries, potato pizza and a Mediterranean platter. The service and food were both spectacular. We sat on the patio, so I didn't go inside. My boyfriend did and loved to have learned the history of the building. It made our lunch even better. Check it out!
The Ahi tuna sandwich is no longer on the menu 😞 so disappointing as it was one of the best !!! Instead, I settled for the grilled snapper and let’s just say the bun was bigger than the fish. Oh well......
I'd highly recommend this restaurant for vegans and the people who love them.
